Much better than the first movie... Good start, a little boring in the middle but is a good buildup to the strong case, and an epic but predictable ending. Either a high 7 or a low 8/10 from me. |

The movie dragged on for a bit in the beginning, until they went to the restaurant (that's when the movie started to become epic.) |

Pretty good movie although once again, the culprit was too obvious. There's a lack of a good red herring in the movies compared to the cases in the episodes for some reason (so far). Other than that, I found it pretty crazy how the card dealer who was released after serving his time in jail went to Mouri to apologize for his crimes but ended up getting killed by the culprit. That's just fucked up : / I enjoyed the first movie more as well, both were good but the ending to the first was more satisfying. It was also pretty obvious why he shot his wife so I found it a bit silly that they made such a big deal out of it lol. |

Love some Eri/Kogoro moment (their relationship is much more interesting than Shinichi/Ran, imo) ) I like Kogoro, even when most ppl don't. Yes, he's an idiot most of the times, but he does love his wife and daughter. And it's great to see that he has some skills (marksmanship), other than judo. He can be a badass. But ofc, Shinichi must be a good marksman too, because you know, he's perfect. (Sorry to his fans, but I don't like him much) |

Not bad, though I found the first movie to have more trick to it's murder mechanisms. My favorite part here would be when aquacrystal submerged underwater when the window was deliberately destroyed. Loved that "A" accident |

The scene with the gun was epic. The case was very good, even though the killer was predictable. Overall good movie 8/10, I like more the first one. *Dat kiss tho. :3 |

Rewatching the old movies of DC. And I realize again, how much better the older movies were than the recent ones, really. Yeah, there may be not enough action for those ppl who find the earlier movies slow, but the recent ones are too exaggerated now with the action scenes and the mystery/cases are not that intriguing as the earlier ones. The movies are now a lot more flashier, unrealistic and action-oriented, less mystery now. A pity. Anyway, this is one of the best Conan movies. |

I loved the first movie so I came in with high expectations but it wasn't nearly as good. Besides it was quite easy to guess the culprit just like with the first move (and the TV series). Figured out it was the wine guy the moment Ran's mother was attacked. Having said that it was still good, liked it 8/10. |

The second half was so intense and brutal. Not as interesting as the first movie, but it had some cool moments like the underwater kiss and the final scene on the top of the tower. Kogoro once again proved he's a good dad and husband. |

Another great movie. The central theme was pretty simple yet added a lot of depth to Mouri and his relationship with his wife. The case somehow reminded me of the cult hotel arc from Kindaichi. I know that the movies aren't really canon but it still caught me by surprise to see the first kiss be on this scenario. Kogoro was pretty badass as well. Also hearing Izumi Sakai (ZARD) when the ED played saddens me, rest in peace queen. I also kinda wished we got some sort of closure between Murakami Joe and Mori but guess that's not happening with him dead |

Just like 1st movie, I know for sure I watched this, but not on my list and don't recall lots of things. Who the killer had lots of hints through-out, and wasn't really a surprise to me. Also was made clear quickly there were 2 types of targets: Primary: Those that were "guaranteed" to die with the attack Secondary: Non-targets that may be killed, but more likely to just suffer bodily injury I knew there was some form of "communication" and understanding between those spouses, but couldn't remember the specifics. I genuinely thought Conan was going to kick the gun. The "kiss" of life and Shinichi shooting with Ran understanding... Good thing my floors aren't wood and only have wood appearance. Did Shinichi sneeze talking about himself?! LOL I'm happy Ran gets to interact with both parents, it's very clear they have personality conflicts: Eri Kisaki - Easily agitated, more career intellect, awful cook, expects people to like her cooking Kogorou Mouri - Shows attraction to other women, career incompetent, tells [his] truth I'm wanting to give a 8/10 (last movie I gave 9/10 and show I give 10/10) but need to think about it. Just like last culprit, this guys just a nutjob, but last guy was always a nutjob. This guy I don't really understand as much. I'll give 9/10, I really do love these, and the fact I enjoyed it even though likely saw before just shows how good it is to me. |
