I'm not sure how to feel about Kadomori Tsubaki in this show but seems like someone to watch out for. Not the type to trust in with that personality of hers.

I think the drama stems from all the family relationships. It also seems that Hyoma's fighting skills improved and stood up against the Kadomori family.

Even in the cold, Hyoma's not all that concerned about the implications of his well-being.

But Aogi visiting the Nagatsuki House as an errand boy, there's clearly some entity working behind the scenes. But where there're believers, there're skeptics like the Sogenbi, the Kadomori and the Bureau of Traditional Music who doubt that Hyoma's inclusion will not change anything and spur them to attack the family even more. And the 1st group of the 3: the protectors of Kyoto, Kadomori family is the 1st group to head after them. The red thread of fate wounds along the stormy lines of Hyoma, who is preparing to see the clan's head Taiju.

Hyoma getting an observant demonstration from the Kadomori clan about their handling of tsukumogami in their own Saenome region of Kyoto, and every group has its quirks and features. Taiju enquiring about the Nagatsuki household, and most particularly Botan herself, it'll be only a matter of time before she'll be the master of all tsukumogami, and those who want their ways will have to cross against Hyoma and the Nagatsuki household to get to Botan. And sure as hell that Hyoma would not back down from a fight against the Kadomori clan, which develops different techniques such as utilizing tsukumogami dolls as a replacement.

The ultimate tsukumogami hater, faced against a clan that doesn't reason with him, he's the maniac who's ready to pop off at anytime.
So go ahead Hyoma, go kick some ass.

That sure is a lot of snow they gotten. Well that was quite the frosty reception that Kagami gave Aogi. The three factions that had issues with the report though sure were anything but simple ones. The Kadamori the protectors of Kyoto huh. Their techniques while simple were also fast as well which i guess allows them to rapidly respond to emerging threats quickly. Still asking Hyoma to be an assassin though geeze cunning much. Using force to force Hyoma to obey wasn't unexpected but the amount of men they had on hand certainly was. If anything its actually Hyoma thats ambushing the ambushers here. Overall though loved the expansion on the views that the other factions within the world think of Botan and the new characters that it intruduced. Can't wait to see how Hyoma cleans up next ep.

This show’s grown on me a lot, hyoma was annoying and unnecessarily edgy at the start but I’m liking him a lot more now that he’s been developed .

Old man really thought he’d get Hyoma of all people to break a promise and turn on Botan and her family lol. Good to see him kicking ass again.

Pink haired girl is MOMMY

This is such a surprisingly enjoyable series. I'm really glad I gave it a shot cause I'm enjoying it a lot.

Glad to see Hyoma kick some ass again.

Also, it seems like Botan might have some competition for Hyoma 😏

I completely agree, I'm having so much fun watching this series.

I mean, what wrong with that? Doesn't make it any less enjoyable. If you go trough life just comparing everything to everything else, you'll forget to enjoy it.

But since we're on the topic of "The poor mans JJK", besides Hyoma looking a bit like Sukuna/Yuji and sealing spirits instead of destroying curses, where are the other comparisons?

Who are Monogataris Gojo, Megumi and Nobara? What about the principal, the human curse, Mt.Fuji curse and the Mother Nature curse? What about the other school, Todo, Maki, and everyone else? The battle between the schools? The curse/spirit inside the MC?

If you haven't watched passed the first episode or just saw how the character Hyoma resembles Yuji and decided it's a "poor mans JJK" that's fine, but coming in and saying it on a discussion for Ep.7 is just plain stupid cause it's already proven not to be true, at least in my humble opinion.

i mean, the industry makes it its job to constantly rip off other shows, which was great at first, but gets annoying after you've been in the game so long

i mean, sure, it means always having something familiar to watch, which i do love... but starts to feel lazy af after awhile when it gets TOO obvoius, hence 100 Kirito clone isekai

I know what you mean, I just started reading an isekai exactly like Stuck in an Otome game and it was boring at first but it got it’s “little twist” in Chapter 2 so we’ll see how it goes.

But I guess with the shitload of anime getting released every season, besides the “little twists” here and there, it’s really hard to come up with something brand new, so I kinda gave up on that a long time ago.

my problem isn't so much the not coming up with anything new, cause thats borderline impossible, its the constant playing it safe, no risk shit that bothers me the most

and when theres how many anime now with a short blacked haired isekai'd/reincarnated character who is basically unbeatable, it doesn't get anymore obvious of laziness than that

at least this show doesn't have me essentially KNOWING what to expect next

This show has gotten better and so has Hyouma. The old man Taiju was mistaken in thinking that Hyouma would turn his back to Botan. His daughter is kind of cute though and I wonder what kind of power (if any) she possesses. In the next episode I'm thinking that Hyouma will clean up and Taiju will back down, at least temporarily. The post ED preview shows Hyouma and Botan blushing, I'm thinking the supporting tsukumogami may try to set them up on a date or something.

Surprised with this series. How did something that started out so mid get to be a pretty good show? Like it’s only a 7/10 but it’s getting really good. Predicting it’ll be about 8.5/10 by the end.

poor Kagami has to shovel the snow away, it's cold, damn it
Hyoma is not worried, even with not so hot clothes, the harsher the conditions, the better the training
Botan still thinks he should avoid a cold, so she gave him the hand warmer, with a smile that warms the heart lols and there goes the little rascal thinking about bunny senpai... i mean botan :v

the annoying guy from 2 episodes ago came to visit, and Kagami sure isn't happy to see him
after his attack on Hyoma, he owns them a favor for keeping quiet, so he explained what he knew about the 3 groups which don't believe the Hyoma training excuse
the 1st ones, the Saenome of the area, and the group was summoned by them
there's another one, a woman with reed hair(?), that tried to talk to him but disappeared

Hyoma went to the Saenome guy, and they showed him how they fight the bad tsukumogami, by using the bell guy to bring them, and then putting some talisman traps before sealing them
some of the guys there don't like Hyoma, since he is above them in rank and possibly a rich spoiled kid

the guy also asked him questions about Botan's house, while Botan herself was thinking about dinner instead of paying attention to class :D
the pink haired girl looks cute
the leader guy sure doesn't like Botan, calling them a monster family, and is worried she will turn into the master of tsukumogami, reminding me of Kotoko lols

the guy really was asking Hyoma to help them beat Botan? i mean, if this was the old Hyoma, maybe he wouldn't reject it, but not after spending time with them
using brute force, he made all those seals explode, but it literally did nothing other than destroying his shirt lmfao
the tsukumogami that were defeated earlier by the bell, are back and being used agains'tHyoma, but they are no challenge lol
the girl is the boss's daughter, Tsubaki, and she doesn't want to fight
they also talked about one of the big 3, who destroyed towns while making tiles fly

the preview already showed us how this ends, so not much suspense left lol

This episode was awesome, even if not much happened!

Alright, so we start the episode with a time jump... I think? It could be my memory being weird, but I don't remember what season it was in the last episode. I guess it's not that big of a problem, just a bit odd lol

So Aogi show's up again, this time at the Nagatsuki household and he exchanges information, revealing that some people are concerned about Kunato potentially breaking the law (exploting Botan's ability).

We then go to Kunato taking a trip to the saenome of Kyoto, where he's ordered to attack the Nagatsuki household and even take out Botan. Ofc Kunato refuses, so they decide to use brute force, which fails spectacularly. I guess they assumed he would be defenseless lol love to see them get their faces smashed in. Looking forward to the outcome of this fight!

Hyoma developed a "fondness" for the tsukumogami in the Nagatsuki house? That was quick, considering they haven't been necessarily courteous to him up till now.
