| If the anime has over 1000 episodes, then it means it most be doing something right... right? So if people are liking the series, why not enjoy additional cases in form of movies? Nothing wrong it it. They’re clearly profiting from it and we’re clearly enjoying them, henceforth we watch it. It’s a win win situation. |

Uncrow said: How many of those movies are they planning to put out lol Not like any of them really matter anyway every. single year. until 'Your Name Is...' the Conan movie franchise had the top numbers of 'butts in the seats' theater ticket sales in Japanese animated films. period. every. single. year, the Conan movies had that record nailed down ever since the FIRST Conan movie came out in 1997. so yeah, they really matter to the Japanese audience. also, if you check the history of the Conan movie franchise again, TMS has put out ONE MOVIE every year since '97 except for one year. covid. Movie 24 was moved from April 2020 to April of 2021. of course since 'Your Name Is...' opened up that huge can-o-worms other anime movies have shoved the Conan franchise to the side in numbers of tickets sold. but i do believe, the Conan movies have stayed consistently in the Top 5 since then. |

 In most cases, the MAL Average Scores don't mean anything, here is a question: were the works made before 2000 all shit? Why are they so damn scarce in the Top 50? Think about how MAL is quite literally a filtered amount of the Anime fanbase. Here's a timeline of the Top 15 in which you can check that, almost always, the scores are affected by the freshness, popularity and other factors that have nothing to do with quality. |

| Ive given up on the anime around a few years ago around the eps where, I also gave up on the manga on the same chapter previously adapted. Its been the same damn formula every 300-400 eps where they have 3 side characters who are the main suspects on whos the BO member between them only for that member to become a pointless character right after finding their identity out!!! Its painfully long, repetitive & little to no progress whatsoever!!! & you dont even need to watch the movies bcoz theyre not canon!!! & dont get me started with the fillers either!!! It honestly needs to end!!! |

| Next movie will probably be something about Heiji and Kaito Kid. At the end of the movie one could hear Heiji talk and see some playing cards. Hope I'm not wrong, cause I love Heiji๐ |
| Well it's the 26th movie so I would say its hype in japan that's why they are still making it. The only conan content I consume are the movies at this point so I am ok with all this. |
