| Shioriko masterclass oh my goodness. Emotion sounded amazing. They did an amazing job bringing her arc to life and making it feel very emotional, the girls coming together at the end to support her was perfect. Poor Lanzhu, you don’t have to be alone anymore. It’s ok to be vulnerable with people and join the club! The setsuna fan club is literally me irl.  |

| So I assumed the School Idol Festival Part Deux was gonna be the big event of the season. But nope, we're straight into it, and pretty much done with it. Or we will be next week, anyway. Leaves me wondering what this season's big climax will be. Something to do with Lanzhu probably. I didn't like that depressed look on her face at the end... Look, every week I keep asking that they don't do the Civil War arc, because it made Lanzhu's character really unlikable for a long time and wasn't fun to go through. I'm gonna keep praying Lanzhu doesn't go crazy until she stops being crazy! Anyway, welcome to the Idol Club, Shioriko! You took a lot less convincing than I thought. Also, you were really cute as baby Shioriko. Kaoruko was pretty cute too. Song is also pretty good. Not very long, tho. Yu's struggling a little bit. What's on your mind, boo? Also, purple burger. Can we stop with these weird coloured burgers, please. I don't want to look at my food like it's poison. Rina is gonna be Mia's bestie soon enough, I know it! Day 5 of the Fes, here we come! |

| This ep reminds me of lots of cards that I encounter daily just to be fed and used as practice partners lmao. Welcome aboard, Shioriko! I love her serious face, it's just breathtaking. Meanwhile, Lanzhu please open your heart already huhu. |

| And so Shioriko became the Nijigasaki School Idol Club's 10th school idol. The way they integrate her into the club feels more natural in the anime. Short-hair Kaoruko looks gorgeous, and is almost a spitting image of present day Shioriko but with reddish dye at the end of her hair, not unlike Yuu with her hair down. Long-hair Shioriko was also lovely and cute. Meanwhile Rina has laid the groundwork for bringing Mia into the gang. Rina probably saw a bit of her loner self in Mia, and knew that she only became where she is today thanks to Ai reaching out to her. So Rina decided to reach out to Mia, by first luring her with burgers. Lanzhu feels left out at seeing Shioriko joining the club, eventually even Yuu will win her over. |

| Great Shioriko episode, glad she finally decided to be a school idol. Her song was amazing too waa~! Shiroko's sisters failure seemed to impact her, but Kaoruko sure did her best and left high school with no regrets Luring Mia with the Shio burgers was a great plan fufu Love how we saw more of Shio Gakuen's idol group, along with the other school's idols Poor Lanzhu being left out ue Can't wait for next episode ^o^ |
| I have mixed feelings about this episode. Shioriko's conflict being resolved as fast as it did didn't really bother me since she clearly wanted to be a school idol and just needed a little push, hiding her true feelings behind the weak cope of her sister's crying and the remaining feelings of regret. However they're majorly diverging from the game now and I feel like some actually good character interactions and relationships from that are being screwed over in the anime. Also the amount of stills in this episode during the performance scenes and when taking Shio out, come on now. But since Anigasaki is clearly its own thing I still enjoyed it yet again, looking forward to the Lanzhu jealousy arc and what's gonna happen to Yuu. |
| Shioriko finally gave in and decided to chase after her dream again. Really loved her mini story arc and how it played out. Her new solo was awesome. Love it so much. Also poor Lanzhu. Come on, now it's your turn to join everyone. |

| sad lanzhu is making me sad :-( was nice to see the n girls these past few episodes, but the speedrun of the festival & n girl post-live slideshow also made me sad. would have been cool to see more of the festival or even an n girl live but they gotta focus more on the main girls like dang man, i always get too interested in side characters. im kinda wanting see one of onee-san's lives now too lol |

Shioriko looks really beautiful in her music video, EMOTION! To be honest, I find this episode to be kind of rushed, and I expected Shioriko to develop her character in more than just one episode. I haven't played Love Live! All-Stars myself, but I can tell that her character is much more different here than in the game, since she seems a lot more stoic in the anime, though she actually a kind, emotional person at heart. Nevertheless, I'm happy that Shioriko has joined Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, and I'm pretty sure her R3BIRTH members Lanzhu and Mia will also be joining with her eventually. Also, Moeka Koizumi has knocked out of the park as Shioriko Mifune as always. |

| So Shioriko has finally joined the school idols, I gotta say I’m not a big fan of her arc, it feels like it happened way too fast lol, like she was very firm in her refusal to become a school idol earlier in the episode but all it took was a fun day with the school idols and being brought to the stage, as well as her sister showing up to change her mind. Idk I just didn’t like it that much lol, but Shioriko’s performance and song were real slappers, really loved that. I also love that Mia was bribed with burger coupons earlier in the episode lol, I probably would too, I love a good burger, but the one she was eating being purple reminded me of a pretty patty from spongebob. And Lanzhu seemed sad at the end there after they recruited Shioriko, I guess it was because they stole her childhood friend lol. |

| Shioriko finally gave in and joined the idol club. She's like the Eli, Dia, and Ren of Nijigasaki, too hesitant to join at first but eventually joined the club near the end. I love her song and performance, kinda reminds me of Steins;Gate with her costume similar to Mayuri and the clocks. |

| While I'm glad that the anime finally did something with Shioriko, I'm not fully satisfied with what they did or how they went about it. On the one hand, the way she joined the club here felt way more natural than in the game, but on the other hand a lot of this felt rushed. For one, I don't think they did enough (read: anything) to foreshadow Shioriko's big thing about "people should only do what they have the talent to/are suited to", so it feels like it kind of comes out of nowhere for something that so strongly defines who she is. I also question why that thought process would lead to her deciding that the thing she's best suited for is supporting school idols instead rather than disassociating from them entirely. Sure, they kinda justify it with Shioriko saying that she didn't want to fully distance herself from school idols, but I'd have thought someone like her would have found something else she had a talent for and was better suited to (by her own criteria) in the years between Kaoruko's failure and the present. It's not terrible, it definitely does work, but I feel like there's a lot of meaningless fluff they could have cut out of this season so far (and the first half of this episode in particular) to give Shioriko more screentime and better foreshadow that defining core of her personality. Either way, her song was great and now that she's in the group I hope they can do some more with her character. I guess it's onto Mia next and then presumably the set-up to R3BIRTH. That's probably not enough for six episodes, though, so I wonder what else the second half of this season has in store. |

| Shioriko, such an adorable sensitive lady <3 to this day i still couldn't care less about how much her story is similar to Eli Ayase's one (and at 11 minutes in it seemed that their faces could match going all the way back to episode 8 of SIP when she was crying / admitting to Nozomi that she wanted to join μ's, while Shioriko was more like "i'm still interested in idols but helping them behind the scenes")... finally she got her own full episode and even if it wasn't the best it was still satisfying Vice president blue costume reminded me of the one of another idol fan club... the one that supports Otsu from Gintama. Hoping the lyrics will never be the same. Sorry Kaoruko, still can't stop thinking about Mio Akiyama when you speak, since day one. Jokes aside, it was unexpected to discover that she and her younger sister had reversed hairstyles before. Oh no, "Yoshiko" again... lol Returning to the seiyuus, Moeka Koizumi is absolutely positively a perfect choice for Shioriko, and in particular she nailed her cracking voice part before the return of Kaoruko and being convinced to try the school idol path herself. Also, while her song is kinda restrained for both music and coreography, it seems more realistic for her considering she's not as trained as the rest of the idol club. Finally... I WANT NIJIGASAKI TEAM RACING. Whether it's on trycicles or go-karts, someone, please, do it. I'd play it even more than the Crash Bandicoot one, and i own both the original '99 version and Nitro Fueled. Check that, i want Love Live Team Racing with the entire cast. If Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers has finally become a real videogame after almost 22 years, some sort of hope exists. Of course, returning to the episode, it was funny to see that still screenshot of Shioriko in last place and frightened... she remembered me about ten years ago when i went to a kart racing track with my new McDonald's coworkers and tried all the time to dodge myself from them in order to avoid injuries (still had one burning my arm, somehow...) |

| really admire everyone's efforts to make Shioriko join the group. She looks happy to be part of the team. also those idols in purple costumes look interesting too. Hopeful to someday see them dance. |
| I said it a few times already but I'm sooooooooo glad how they're dealing with Shioriko. Her and her sister are like Dia and Ruby in the original but with their roles swapped. I think like this she's a good addition to the club. Too bad Lanzhu ain't so happy with it |
