Where are the space battles?

6 episodes so far and I am still waiting for great space battles like we had in previous seasons. I like the political conflicts going on, but it's missing the blood and destruction. I didn't READ the manga, so I would appreciate if someone told me a little bit about it.

Without spoiling it, you'll see the fight you're waiting for pretty soon. Right now both sides are establishing their new chains of command and order (while also introducing the super critical earth cult plotline). Just be patient for a couple episodes and you'll see what is in my opinion one of the coolest battles of the entire series for a while to come.

the next episode is called Lost Things, the next one should be called Court of Inquiry which should end with the opening of this arcs main battle, either that or the battle should start at the next ep Fortress vs Fortress

I also should note that DNT is progressing at a slightly different pace than the original ova did and I remember that sequencing far better than the "manga"

It's not a space opera without the politics, you just need to wait until the show fleshes things out until it leads into the next space battle, which is this season's focus.

I actually think some of the space battles take too long. The three-episode battle that is now ongoing is one example. I feel like two episodes would have sufficed.
