I liked your Dance Dance Danseur review! It summed up most all of my opinions! I think for me -- I really wanted someone to tell Miyako (or for her to realize for herself) that her relationship/dynamic with Lou was really unhealthy. She sacrificed her own happiness and ambitions because of this warped sense of responsibility, which became very clear when he threatened to k*ll himself if she left when they were kids. Now, I completely understand how Lou got to this point and that is the fault of his mother/grandmother but that doesn't mean Miyako needs to be the one to 'save' him. I was frustrated that Junpei didn't realize this and give her more agency in the decision, but I also recognize he's a 14 year old who didn't take that extra step in his thought process. I appreciated how the anime showed her resolve and disillusionment in those last dance scenes. I hope Miyako gets to shine on her own more in future seasons and may just need to read the manga to find out!

The story is set a couple of years after the events of Sword Art Online, where Kazuto "Kirito" Kirigaya and his sister Suguha meet up with Asuna Yuuki, Rika "Lisbeth" Shinozaki, and Keiko "Silica" Ayano at the SAO Survivor School. Kirito then attends emergency counseling, while the girls go for a swim at the pool. It turns out that said "emergency counseling" is a subterfuge set up by Seijirou Kikuoka, aiming to rehash the incident of Sword Art Online in hopes of determining Akihiko Kayaba's motives. What will the girls get up to in the pool, and what awaits Kirito and his "counseling"?
