| Well, I was fearing this would happen, but what is done is done. Suzuki may have been a scumbag, but it was undeniable his deep, charismatic voice was perfect for Anos and without him the character wouldn't be the same. Whoever replaces him will have big shoes to fill. Daisuke Ono is the only voice actor which comes to my mind who can replace Suzuki and give the same feeling as him, as their voices can get similar sounding at times. Outside that, I think Yuichi Nakamura or Yuichiro Umehara would be good replacements too. Still sad Anos is going to sound differently for the second season. Can only hope the new seiyuu can be as iconic as Suzuki. On an unrelated note, this means he will also be dropped out of Shuumatsu no Valkyrie as Shiva, which also sucks, |

| Umehara voice is really fun to hear but I think it doesn't come close to Suzuki at all. It's very unique that you can tell it's his voice when you hear characters that he voiced, but its also makes it harder to imitate someone else. Seems like they're heading for a totally different voice direction instead of trying to imitate the original. It's hard to imagine when Suzuki's voice has been so ingrained with the character that hearing someone else that completely different would be quite surprising I reckon. |
| Damn, Umehara. They really thought about this change. I'll really miss Suzuki's Anos, but Umehara's a voice that definitely works in its own way. Can even see it fitting better in some ways. I should get used to his role. Will always be a damn shame tho. Suzuki really owned Anos, and even had that sick OP that he sang. Real tragic lol. |

He apparently broke a NDA by sharing a demo song with that girl (I believe it was for Free!), so it's not really about the cheating, he would have probably gotten away with it (even though he might still have suffered some minor consquences, because the person he cheated on is not a nobody, it's LiSa) but it was the legal issue that got him into the trouble he is in now. |

Yuichiro Umehara is a great VA, but this anime is already remembered with another actor. Even the best VA in the world will not take away feeling of change between seasons, which will lower the score of the entire series in the future, I guess. I suppose the producers make a big mistake, they could punish or condemn him otherwise if they wanted to show disapproval of this type of behavior. I hope I'm wrong and it will be stunningly better, but I assume in 99% that is impossible. |
