It's too bad people who wants to make society a better place become a target.

There's just something so wrong about certain characters' motivations to get rid of others for their own sinister reasons. Well, I'm just glad to see William being at least interested in this case although I guess cases like this isn't uncommon in their society.

Basically setup/introduction to Whiteley's character I suppose but sure that the situation is tense as always, and Albert's conversation with him at the end was the most interesting part, I can feel that the next episode is going to be great, I can't wait to confrontation with Milverton

Other than the Lord of Crime William himself hiding in the shadows, there exists another target of an easy scapegoat, one with power and embodiment: the White Knight of London, MP Adam Whiteley. The same objective that the Moriarty Family is trying to achieve, the fate at the hands of this young upstart of a MP.

The race between William and Milverton: the testing of Adam Whiteley to identify friend or foe, with an eye of choosing people (Robinson and Sturridge) he can trust to do his internal investigations. I've gotta say that Whiteley's family is very humble about their familial wellbeing, other than the House of Lords well adamant on their stand for oppression of justice against Adam through blatant propaganda to the easily swayed British citizens, whether Adam confesses it to be true or not.

Adam's personal gain, not pride nor honor, is the sole benefactory to his cause: creating a park for disabled wheelchaired children, like his disabled brother Sam. A prophetic word if I may add.

A proposition with Albert of the backroom deal, and a case that can topple the House of Lords in one fell swoop, through an orchestrated case of the park ceremony. Like like-minded people, the push to shove in transformation is as ever importan, and definitely am anticipating the change in reforms.

Too bad for this society that lives under such a House of Lords and the mafia all along without knowing a single fact about them.

Whiteley seems like a genuinely nice person who cares about the society that's under him. And, this brings a lot of dangerous acts towards him. He didn't seem like a person who gives a damn about his honor when he clearly accepted everything the mayor and other people said against him. Then, genuinely smiling towards those disabled kids for whom he did that. The mafia's next target seems to be Sam Whiteley, his little brother. But, he has the support of Moriartys this time around. This race between two giants can lean on to any side.

Whiteley reminds me of Two-Face from the Dark Knight. His character will be either make or break, it can't be something between. But in order for Milverton to prove that he can be enemy to Moriarty, Milverton needs to be a magnitude more evil, more cunning.

I miss Sherlock and Inspector Lestrade already LOL

Whiteley seems like a pretty good guy, and he advocates for positive social change....so of course that automatically makes him a target who is subject to slander and even an assassination attempt. Now his disabled younger brother is a target, some people really will stoop to the lowest levels.

You can’t call a guy fighting for justice and reform “The White Knight” and not bring to mind Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight. Whitely (very on the nose name) seems like a good guy and the proxy war involving him should be interesting.

He had such a stupid reason for not refuting the points at the park. How you are viewed by the public is important if you are looking for public support and it wouldn’t have taken that long to do so. Not doing it so that the kids in wheelchairs can use the park sooner was corny as hell and trying too hard to make him look like a great guy.

People like Whitely who want to bring about a positive change in the society will always receive such a huge backlash from those in power who feel threatened. Pretty relatable to even current scenarios and made me remember this certain case from years ago in my country, when an officer was murdered for trying to expose the corruption going on in the government offices.
I'm really hoping that Whitely's brother doesn't get harmed.

I'm curious to know what exactly is Milverton scheming and his motives. Also this episode did a good job showing how easy it is for the people with power to manipulate the media for their own benefits.

This exact point bugged me a lot in the episode too. He could've calmly laid down his points and went about his way to see the children, rather than simply accepting the false claims and losing public support, which is really important for him in the future.

The way William and Albert see the society is actually the true form of it. As soon as I saw this Whiteley guy trying to be a saviour or try to make a change that counts, I expected everything to backfire. A lot of people don't even make the slightest effort to get knowledge about the people they are supporting and listening to, and I can't blame some of them, since corruption can take such powers, that it is really just meaningless to even try to know something, since you'll only find what they want you to find.

Great episode :) I wonder if William knows about Milverton's plan to assasinate Sam. I hope that the kid doesn't die. Even though Whiteley's goals weren't as big as I thought they would be, he's still a nice guy, and Sam aswell. I'm curious about the next episode.

I guess next episode will depict more details about Whiteley. I mentioned he is good man but I wanna know the definition.

he is pretty much an exact copy + paste of Dark Knight's Harvey Dent, only this time his entire personality is reduced down to the fact that he wants equality. The plot setup is identical to Dark Knight, so I wouldn't be surprised if it genuinely just rips off the entire story.

As for Sherlock, he is by far one of the best things about this show. Totally unique compared to Conan Doyle's original sherlock, while still maintaining the same chaotic energy, he is a joy to watch.

I went into season 2 expecting it to explore the ethical dichotomy of Moriarty and Sherlock, where both have the same goal, but go about it through different means and philosophy. However it is clear that this show has no real focus or direction, and instead sullies the plot with secondary villains like Milverton.

At first, I was wondering if Whiteley was faking things. The way the scenes were structured said I was wrong, but the way Whiteley looked had made me doubt him. Until I saw that the newspapers also doubted him. Immediately handed information in fiction is almost always incorrect. So, Whiteley is not a bad guy.

Albert is so distractingly attractive. I always have a hard time listening to him talk.

I understood Moriarty's plan immediately when the park was filled with people who opposed Whiteley. But, I don't understand what Whiteley proved with what he'd said.

They are going to show us how Milverton works. Yayy

Oh no. Don't kill the sweet little brother. Sometimes, you can tell if a character will die or not because you can pick up enough clues from the story to know their role. But, I can't pick up enough information about the brother just yet, so I am not being able to calm down at all.

White Knight of London. The MP those who fight for equality, in the form of an election reform bill, Mr Whiteley. Moriarty gang first doubting his true intention as always for the usual noble scum they eliminated. But William should've take some test first to proved how true that man in line with their ideological path. The investigation to the mobster apparently proved him and Whiteley was not forming a collusion, denied the possibility of staging himself to gain publicity. But the real mastermind couldn't be tracked anymore, cause the mob got homicide after then from the inside.

A little backstory for the Whiteley kinda suggest his intentions started out from his love for his younger brother in the face of equality. Well, idk how it can be happened in the first place. Guess his profile as MP kinda low-key and not to be like the usual scum aristocrat figure. Hope i can get more info to those man.

In short, apparently, the stage for the fight between Milverton and Moriarty has been prepared in these final arc. William trusting those man with the important file, after having a clear view using that orchestrated ceremony. Well, in the other side, Milverton scum underlings start to make a great move, by targetting the big fish, Whiteley own younger brother.

Lets grab more popcorn, ladies and gentlemen....

While the introduction of Whitely's attempts for equality through non-violent, "legitimate" means provides a nice contrast to how the Moriartys have been trying to bring it about, I do just get the feeling this is going to end up being a rip-off of Two-Face's arc from The Dark Knight. Some of those darker seeds are clearly being sown already, so it's just a matter of if/when he goes off the deep end completely. However, his acceptance of the accusations made at the park press conference was utterly nonsensical and is only going to do damage to his cause, when debating the points raised would do him no harm whatsoever.

Still, while this is interesting, it's yet another new character introduced into the fray this season and that just makes the narrative feel even more jumbled and unfocused than it was already becoming. With so little focus put onto the Moriartys or Sherlock and the dichotomy between their methods that the first season was beginning to set up, it feels as if this show has lost track of what it actually wants to be and is just throwing all sorts of elements at the wall in the hope that something, anything sticks.

"Mr. Whiteley tries to suicide!"

Great but a little slow episode, introducing Whiteley, The White Knight of London. The thought that he set up that whole thing with the bomb crossed my mind at first, but yeah, he's a genuinely good guy and you can tell from his inner monologues alone. Though I wonder what he's gonna do with that power he now possesses, will it corrupt him or will he use it for what is right? Well, I don't know we'll find out next week.

Damn, I knew his brother was gonna get involved somehow, Milverton is one nasty dude. Looking forward to the next episode.

Looking like this is gonna be a good arc. Team Moriarty taking a risk giving Whitely so much information but I feel like the way they attempted to get a judge of his character was pretty good. Of course now we have Minerva or w/e dudes name is going after Whitely's little brother. This could definitely change how he acts with the info he was given.

Well, Milverton wasted no time in showing what a real piece of shit he is with his plan to target Sam Whiteley. I'm hoping that if anything happens to him, the Moriarty Brothers will be there to take revenge in that oh-so-satisfying way of theirs! But even if they did, any harm that comes to him would probably be the downfall of Whiteley as a White Knight of society tbh.

Now they found another person with the similar mindset. But since Whiteley is too public about his motive, higher-ups are already after his life. I hope the Moriartys don't let that happen. And I hope nothing happens to the innocent younger brother.

While I understand that in whiteley's mind nothing anybody says about him matters as long as he knows that he's doing what he believes to be right but it would also bring him 0 harm to add that he just wanted to make things easier for handicapped children
if anything, it would make the other MPs look worse for ganging up on him
better public opinion = more public support

You always have to pay a price in order to achieve something, common sense.

Good episode, at the moment it seems that Whiteley is not a liar so the Moriarty group decides to support him in his fight for equality. Now the objective has changed, they are going to go after Whiteley's brother Sam and these thugs are sent by Charles, with more reason they are going to eliminate him hahaha
