| Far as I am concerned Emillia had every right to be angry at Subaru for leaving her side. But damn that was a big fight, I was genuinely shocked watching it. Their fights have never been that intense before. But in the end they made up :D and we got to see a kiss! also smol otto!! |

| Even though Otto's flashback was rather short it was nice getting some of his past life. Not to mention that he's struggling for survival here lol. That kiss at the end :O |
| At least this time the conversation felt much more meaningful than in the last episodes. But they really fit well together. Subaru gets rescued multiple times by his friends: "Wait, they like me?". Subaru tells Emilia 5000 times that he loves her: "I don't believe that you love me!" |

| really amazing episode. otto and ram carried the first half and emilia and subaru's scene absolutely took the second half to the stars. seeing the side characters shine and then getting probably the most emotional scene between the lead characters was some really great contrast. subaru once again confesses his love, and while emilia still hasn't said the words back to him, the reception of his kiss is all telling. really great stuff this episode, i look forward to seeing it continue in the upcoming episodes. Edit: also, the detail at the end where emilia's eyes have no reflection of subaru and then she blinks and his reflection is there after thinking about what her most precious feeling is, amazing. |
| "I Love you" ~ Natsuki Subaru At this point I'm not surprised, Re:Zero's a 10/10. But I have to say this was one amazing episode. They kissed!!! Not gonna lie, even I was surprised. But well after all he's been through I guess my boy's changed. 6/5 or 11/10 whatever I loved this episode!!!! |
| gotta say the main objetive, that is to save the people at the mansion an free the Sanctuary isnt that interesting considering all the time its taking, at this point it feels like a its dragging that aside Otto is getting much cooler scenes than Subaru |

| The All New 4x4 Subaru Hatchback did the thing, he confessed his love to Emilia. But I thought he was rock hard for REM and that was the point of the whole thing? Either way, this dude is getting some, even in his weird everyday sloppy tracksuit, he just knows the smoothtalk too well. Garfield now lays ready for a fight in the ultimate 4x4 showdown on roads, rivers and trails, with a sleek new design and all new engineering. Come see the new fleet at your local dealership today. And then the weird sidestory with bugs, which lasted, like, four minutes, so that was a thing that elongated the episode. But it was something. Let's see if he can make it all worth it? |
| Can we go back to Otto's backstory? We should explore that a little more, being able to communicate and command all kinds of animals down to insects is pretty damn cool. That fight with Garfiel was also cool. Cause that whole shit with Subaru acting like the ultimate simp is just really hard to watch. It's not even cringe really, the whole thing just pisses me off. Subaru's like "I love you no matter what, you never do anything wrong, I'll always be by your side, I love you so much it makes me crazy" bro how about you shut the fuck up? Seriously who fucking wrote this shit? And Emilia's like "You lied to me Subaru you said you'd hold my hand till morning but I woke up and you're not there. You should've endured uncomfortably sitting there the whole night while holding my hand like you promised" bitch do you hear yourself? Honestly my whole issue with all these is that I'm too old for this shit. I watched season 1 more than 6 years ago my tastes and preferences fucking change I'm nearing 30 goddammit it's really hard for me to put up with this kind of shit anymore. |

| What a productive interaction that was. Subaru's motivational affirmation clashing with Emilia's insecurity for what could be the millionth time isn't my idea of the pinnacle of romantic chemistry, but I am biased towards Echidna, so maybe that plays a part. |

And all there was heard were crickets. All he does it ramble on about how he loves her.
What happened with Puck? Who did he form a contract with to protect Emilia? Why did he hide all this time and why does he have to leave for Emilia to regain her memories?
Why can Subaru enter the temple again? Didn't he loose that ability after the last tea party with all the witches? Why did they pick a fight with Garf? If I remember correctly he never tried to hinder Emilia to take the trial. Plot convenience?

I'm rewatching S2 right now, and I don't even know what she's talking about when yelling that Subaru "abandoned" her. He's died & come back so many times, I'm not sure what the issue was. Was that entire blowup about him just leaving to warn the Mansion to get out so they don't get ambushed? He came back right away, so you wouldn't think it was such a huge deal. Then again, he could've just told her up front instead of leaving a note. Puck leaving is a bit confusing, as I'm sure it was something brought up in S1. But given how long this show has been off the air, it's hard to remember every little detail (which is why I'm rewatching S2). Lastly, I also thought Subaru was rejected the last time he tried to enter the temple. Seeing him enter it again was confusing to me as well. Maybe Echidna gave him the ability to enter again? I have no idea right now. |

| Subaru finally did the right thing by expressing how he feels about Emilia, even though he was a bit harsh. But she needed to hear it. She’s tired of everyone treating her like a doll and not telling her what she needs to hear. My love for Emilia keeps on growing—she’s still a young at heart who needs someone by her side to love her. Everyone deserves to be loved. Also I don’t think we really needed Otto’s backstory, but the author needed something to justify him facing off against Garfiel, so it’s okay. |
