| Subaru was savage comparing Satella to the other witches. Garfiel complaining that Subaru doesn't know suffering is unintentionally hilarious. At this point I have no idea how Subaru can break through this current loop... |

| It was fine. The same-old positives and complaints I've had with this season, dragged out and having awkward/boring phases, inconsistent production efforts, mediocre dialogue at times to go with some really interesting mysteries for the short and long-term, solid cliffhanger, Return by Death as a mechanic being too much of a convenience to use in actually getting to understand said mysteries and remove long-running tension that way. So yeah, another mixed bag as usual. Specifically though, didn't really take much notice of Ryuzu in the series so far but it was good to know about the Ryuzu clones in more detail as Subaru found the original, and how she was an experiment from Echidna regarding immortality. I like her voice in this series. Subaru's grown some balls again in this latter part of the cour to get through his repetitive hell but then again, the mechanic of using RbD itself to get to this point again makes it feel a bit stale, even if this cour did at least try to answer some questions regarding it. |

I agree with pretty much all you said. Subaru accomplishing personal development through its mechanic is kinda getting stale at this point, but there's enough other interesting parts to the story in order to keep watching. It's a shame the artistic direction also really isn't up to par at all times. |

| Quite a confusing episode, lots of things don't add up in my head. If Ryuzu has to follow the one who drank Echidna's tea, why did she and Garfiel take Subaru prisoner in that one timeline? He already visited Echidna before that and drank her tea. Also suddenly Garfiel is much more friendly now, even though before he didn't even listen to Subaru once he accused him of the witch's stench. Weird. |
Oh good, in season 1 there were also a lot of things which seeemd weird to me, but got answered later on. Nice to hear that it will be the same in this season :3 |

| good episode. if there's one thing white fox excels at, it's sound. i got chills every time the witch of envy spoke and so many other times just because of how good the sound was. i think this whole sanctuary arc is getting a bit repetitive and losing the magic it had at first in this episode but hopefully that is just to set up these last few episodes. |

| So now we know that Garfield has been getting it on with Echidna's copies, which is very very very inappropriate. He should go to jail. Way to go Garfield, way to not ask and take names for your bedpost. Damn right he's got secrets! Mid episode. But I guess Ecchi's copies are pretty neat, too bad she couldn't be immortal, maybe Subs is her way back into the human world and immortality. We'll find out! |
| Uhhh what? I don't get it. A couple of episodes ago didn't Ryuzu order Garfiel to knock out and kidnap Subaru after he told them he passed a trial and he wants to continue the trials instead of Emilia, Garfield also said Subaru has miasma or smelling like a witch cultist or something? And now being a "apostle of greed" gives Subaru the control over all Ryuzu copies? What the fuck is all that? Why did Ryuzu have Subaru kidnapped back then? wat? |

| The audacity of this guy, to say Subaru "doesn't know" what pain and suffering are. Subaru could be the one saying that to just about everyone else in this anime. Satella is setting herself up to be best girl already, but then again, so is Echidna. |

| This episode was packed with a lot of information, and we finally cleared up many things, especially why Garfiel is so attached to the Sanctuary. Also, I really needed that moment with Emilia—it was so healing. |
