That Jail guy made this episode less fun by bringing in his attitude. His clash against Licht is the highlight of the episode but I'm cheering for Licht.

Honestly felt bad for Lyne when she almost got caught as collaterial damage in all of this. Glad to see Licht making the timely save buf ofc, he had to make some jokes during all of this lol

Dude spend half the episode pretending he's weak, only when the girl is in danger to show his true strength.

Wow, I just didn't care. A rare feat for an anime to almost feel like it's sucking my emotions every episode

The humor during the fight reminded me of Fire Force except Fire Force looks better. The humor was pointless and didn't add anything and the fact that I didn't care if either of them lost really helped with my connection to them. At least with the humor of Fire Force, it at least had the great cinematography to back itself up and still give a decent enough fight. This? The majority of it was Licht blocking black bars. Fun.

Also, those sound effects... I didn't know the guys from OPM S2 got another job.
It really do be like that though.

As A Manga Reader, This fight was really lacking and felt very slow with the Dialogue exchanges and the editing of certain frames and it didn't have the intense engagement or artistic merit as the Manga did and left me feeling meh especially during the big clash it just lacked that polish or take any advantages with the use of animation. The only interesting part was how the colors were in the clash with Licht being red and jail being blue. This is the point where I dropped the Anime and stick with the Manga

I can vibe with this show. It isn't that serious of a show, almost got some nostalgic vibes from it.
Almost can think of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for some reason...

First off, 25% of the air time is split between opening, closing, explaining the world, and repeating past dialogue. In the next 3 minutes after the opening (that's all I got to before I turned it off), there is a sloppy fight scene. Jail Murdoch (the antagonist of this episode) starts the fight by shooting a seemingly unending bar of metal at the MC Licht Bach. Instead of stepping one foot to the side, Licht presses his sword against the bar and makes grunting noises. Then, Jail knocks Licht's sword into the air and the sword suddenly doesn't exist any more. The next two seconds they have a nicely animated fight sequence (the only decent animation so far). Then the fight sequence becomes the same few drawn frames repeated over and over again. This is lazy animation and the anime deserves a trash rating of 5 or below.

So the lack of good animation continues, this is a real pity... The battle between Licht and Jail was not very enjoyable... Atleast after the final clash, Licht managed to save Lyne from the mess he and Jail created.

I guess I'll keep watching for the girls now, production value has kinda gone out of the window already.. New girl incoming.. that Harem is growing.

In addition to all the derpy visuals, that hand to hand combat scene was probably some of the worst I've seen in a while.

It was an average episode at best. I wonder if his Number dropping makes him stronger as well. Because Lynn and Hina both have a thing for him yet they both said they hated him. So It would make sense if it made Licht stronger to have more women hate him.

Say what you will about this show, I Fucking love it. Objectively there's some potholes, writing isn't the best, probably some subpar characters, but it's fun as hell to watch and most of the complaints people have with it are things I don't really care about, Licht being a perv and the harassment stuff, etc. I really like Hina and Lynn, etc. This was a really cool episode and it showed just how OP Licht is when he wants to be, he probably wasn't even showing a 10th of his power

Geez everyone’s so critical nowadays since the industry is over saturated lol. I love this show even though it’s not a masterpiece. I almost prefer it that way. It’s easy on the mind and soul while making me genuinely smile throughout. Grateful that it’s got a solid 24 episodes👍🏻

I really liked the pacing of this episode. I think there was a healthy mix between characterisation and plot advancement.

Is the opening sequence made in a way that it mimics Black Clover? Surely I'm NOT the only person who notices it though...though the latter does the presentation WAY BETTER than this show...

Licht facing off the abnormally high powered First Lieutenant Jail Murdoch, the signs of trouble are everywhere in the sloppy animation, it's like Geek Toys barely even tried to follow the manga's distinct artwork. Even the iconic hand-fist fighting just looks like child's play rather than a serious one.

For Sergeant Major Lynn who saw the good of Licht and her own efforts, clearly the upper echelons a.k.a Jail don't see that. But through her persuasion, reward is given.

Mediocre to decent (and back to mediocre) episode...even mangaka Suu Minazuki's signature off-timing jokes aren't given much weight in the anime. So pretty much the manga is better than every regard (though saying this now still isn't too late).

The story is developing very slowly. I really can't see where this is going. They should hurry up with the plot. They're just dragging it. 25% of the whole slot is taken by the opening, closing, preview and explainition of the world. It has potential, but i hope the next episode is better than this. With my hero academia going on, i dont think I'll be watching this if it doesn't start with some interesting plot.
Overall it's a good Anime, keeps me entertained. But I'm expecting more from the plot. It's already beem 5episodes. I really wish the plot would progress a bit faster.

This is what I'm worrying the moment when it's announced GEEKTOYS will handling this anime, that's the worst fist-fight ever I had ever seen in the anime even by their animation standard. The animation is mostly looped and it lacks direction, like if they just simply take one manga scene and based the entire fist fight off from that one scene without any interesting punches or kicks. I'm not sure why are they put more effort on the clashing and CGI than the fight itself.

Meh, at least the clashing scene and Rihito saving Lyne were somewhat watchable compared to the fight itself.

I don't what should I say about the filler and story changes showed in EP6's preview........

Licht still held-back!
i wanna see an opponent that even if Licht didn't held-back, he'd still have a hard time!
yes Lieutenant Jail sure is strong but Litch is still ahead of him.
5/5.

The animation of Plunderer keeps deciving me episode after episode.
Even though, I want to like this anime, but GeekToys wasn't the studio meant to animate an "action" anime like Plunderer. Even before airing, I knew the animation would be a catastrophy and, unfortunatly, I wasn't wrong AT ALL.
I, personally, think Ajia-do (especially), Lidenfils, or even ENGI would be a better choice of studio.

Am I the only one thinking it ?

Just wondering what the point if these numbers are when Licht shows 2 different numbers that really don’t seem to matter if he has yet to show his true strength. Why 5400 when he can beat a 12500? Anyways, it was nice to see the kids get a park.

Aside from a few drops in the visual quality, this episode was actually pretty good. The battle between Licht and Jail reaches its boiling point and Licht displays some genuine heroism, and this time, it feels earned. Watching Jail help the townspeople also feels genuinely heartwarming, I guess watching a so-called criminal rescue a military office must have shaken his convictions. Seriously, this must have been a humbling experience for Jail. All in all, this episode was significant improvement over the previous ones and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.

Well its obvious what his negative count is now. Its everytime a girl says "I hate you" to him. He must have pissed off a lot of girls XD.

It was funny and cute when they girl presented the doll to the guy at the end XD. I ship Jail and lyne. I think they'd be good together. Then I can ship Licht and Hina and now I have two ships I can support.

However the constant switching between comedy and seriousness is a bit off putting. Some series do it well but its not that great here.

Also wish the main character wasnt a pervert. He's fine when he's in his badass mode. Ive never liked the perverted characters. Its part of the reason Ive never re-watched Highschool DXD.

But man some of the moments in this episode were so cliched as hell XD. "Im not even using 10% of my power" lol. Im basically solely watching this series for the romance/couples so Im not gonna rely on the action to entertain me. (I just hope they hold off on the perverted joke scenes.)

What a great episode! I love the pacing they are taking with this anime.
The whole battle and the ending with him building a temporary kid's park, damn.
Now they both will hunt him xD What a story ahaha

I love the comedy of this anime. While there might have been a bit less of that here thanks to Jail's attitude, I still enjoyed it.

The action scenes were pretty fun to watch due to the mixture of silliness and action.

However, the serious part where Jail is saying stuff about Lyne being useless just felt off. Don't know why, but it kinda felt forced and out of place.

Still a pretty good episode and the ending was really nice!
