| Erza is one of my fav FT characters, but she needs to get off her high horse. She's keeps telling people who went through much worse than she did how she overcame and they made the wrong choice. There is no way she should've been able to fight anywhere near Irene's level. Irene committing suicide was as bad as Erza punching a meteor. It would've been better if Erza failed to harm Irene after Irene turned into a dragon, but Irene stops trying to kill Erza. Acnologia shows up because nothing can stop him from getting to another dragon and he kills Irene. . |

| This episode was a cornucopia of Fairy Tail bullshit, but I still found Irene's concrete resolution powerful. I know it's a much more dramatic exclamation point, but she didn't exactly have to kill herself, did she? I didn't fall in love with her, but Irene is probably among the better-written villains in the cast. Also the reversal of the Universe One spell is kinda lame. Mashima forbid any permanent change happens to the world, lol. So, uh... is that it for E.N.D.? I swear, Fairy Tail is so good at hyping future plot points and so, so bad at following through on any of them. Ever since the Edolas arc when the show dropped the ball on Mystogan's character, every major build up fizzles out anticlimactically. What even happened with that foreshadowing with Rogue going out of control when Frosch dies? Some shit with Gray, who was bullshitting his entire character twist anyway, and that's it? I mean, that was played up at becoming a major event then it was brushed aside in like a 5 minute scene. wtf. I know this is the wrong episode thread to be complaining about that, but it's symptomatic of a VERY long-running issue in this show and probably it's biggest one. | Irene has fallen, only August, Zeref & Achnologia remains. Natsu is back on his feet. Not the most solid reason for Natsu's to come back to life. If he looses both of his seeds shouldn't he also lose his magic powers too? They haven't explained this throughout. It would be nice to see how he still posses fire magic power without the dragon seed. ^^ |

| Of course Erza destroys the meteor. Irene under oppai. Dat smile. Dat stab. Irene stabbed herself? Irene under oppai. Dat flashback. Irene is down. Dat hug. Choose one of them? Natsu is ningen. Natsu awakens. Dat light. Hisui returns to normal. Universe One. Dat ending. The only way to defeat an OP enemy, especially one that used magic such as Universe One, was for that enemy to commit suicide. RIP Irene. You were perfection. 2 chapters. They didn't show Lucy's pantsu. |

| I'm usually one to defend Mashima's writing, but I can't do that here. That was just not good at all, Irene's huge potential was wasted. She was set up as a true titan of magic, but this felt like a fairly easy fight for Fairy Tail. This was Erza's biggest asspulll fight in the entire series. How could she even break a meteor, let alone one used by someone as strong as Irene? At least despite being slashed, Irene seemed still able to fight, that somewhat helped alleviate the asspull nature of the fight. But I feel as though the motherly love thing could have been handled better. Taking her own life feels as though they didnt know how to finish this fight. Erza was clearly shown to have broken bones, her left arm was literally flailing around everywhere as she flew in the sky. But then she gets up and embraces Wendy as if everything is fine? And as for Natsu, just saying "I'm human" shouldnt be all he needs to destroy thr seeds inside of him. If felt kind of cheap. I don't know, it feels like this is just limping to the finish line at this point. |

| Erza´s mother final moment was very predictable and anticlimatic. Oh well, at least it was decently executed, I guess. Even if Erza´s mother did that out of love, I could not feel that -probably done or purpose?- since Irene felt distant and just a threat 99% of the time. In the end, the drama involving both did not have much of an effect/impact on me. --- About Natsu, hm... hard to talk about because... Hm, he´s indeed a human, but when he promptly said "neither of them, I am human" it felt like he rejected his "dragon" side (I mean, Natsu himself was raised by a dragon for some time and even got dragon powers). But... despite that, his answer was understandable since in essence his a human. Well, I don´t know if Natsu could have just rejected his "demon" side so just the black seed dissapear, but at least that problem is now solved xD |

| Ah.. tears.. someone.. tissues, tissues please. Though in all seriousness even this 50 cent acting of mine was better than this whole Irene x Erza conclusion. Just what in flying fuck author was thinking when he was writing this whole thing. There should be arrest warrants against him.. I mean writing something of this quality is no less than a crime itself. I'm not even disappointed, that's just how pathetic fairy tail is. And yes Natsu is back because why not. |

| OF COURSE! JUST CHOOSE TO BE HUMAN!!! WHY DIDN'T IRENE THINK OF THAT!!!!!?!?!?!!?!? Lucy finally accepts, that Natsu's true starting point normally is and should be her home hahaha So Gildarts and August will fight, and Gray and Zeref will fight. I think the best way for Natsu to test his theory, is to burn the E.N.D. book. If it doesn't harm him, then neither will destroying Zeref. Actually surprised, this actually will fit nicely in 51 episodes, I thought there was no way and would have a 2nd unrelated arc. |
