| This episode was completely different compared to the original anime of this. I was surprised that Kagura knows how to cook. My memory's kinda hazy but didn't the original anime she didn't know how to do chores nor cook? I prefer the original episode of this but this is still funny love the delivery man hahaha |
| Man, I remember hating Kagura first time reading/watching Furuba, but I had so many laughs during this episode, I can't really be angry with her xD Her over the top tsundere personality works perfectly, even though I dislike seeing Kyou hurt, her basically juggling him made me almost cry from laughter. So yeah, I guess Kagura may appear every now and then to push characters and their relationships further and make me lol a few times. Not to often though! |

| why is this anime so violent? geez i'm not sure if i can keep up with that LOL i wonder if Neko-kun will survive until the end of the anime :v at least it was a good surprise to hear Kagura's voice as Rie is my favorite VA, wonder when she will come back |

| Heh, I thought Kagura was pretty cool. Also a perfect role for Kugimiya Rie. While the small arc she goes through in this episode really isn't anything special or new, it was still entertaining and well-paced. |

| Kagura sure was an entertaining character but not a quite memorable one if I'm honest. And although her antics were enjoyable to some extent, I'm a bit glad her stay with Kyou and co. only lasted one day. Her zodiac form is beyond adorable tho. Anyways, it was another nice episode. |

| The childhood nostalgia feels soooooo good :') Love Kyo-kun's fist bump to Tohru's head hehe C: it was cute back then and it's still cute now ^.^ I wish I didn't know all the spoilers, but oh wells. This ver is much longer running. I stopped the manga at volume 11 years ago. Hopefully the completed series is adapted C: |
| I liked that episode a lot. I am always impressed at how Toohru's intense emotions and thoughts get to me, and I admire her and look forward to seeing more aspects of her, not just what she can bring out in others. I guess there is no helping comparing with the manga and former anime version, but every creative piece exists in its own right and I don't think it is fair to compare the different versions. The violence in that episode...gosh it made me quite uneasy (I think I feel the same way as Toohru about it XD). Is it me or is Kyou just going to be the weakest one in the family even though he is super strong if you compare him to a more average person? He definitely has it tough XD My chest tightened in the last moments, I cannot remember what happens afterwards! Looking forward to the next episode! |
| Finally started watching this for the first time after dabbling in the manga slightly as a kid. Expected: Already am crushing on Kyo and living for the dynamic between him and Tohru. Unexpected: Absolutely loving Tohru's character. She made me cry in the very first episode, when she was talking about her mom... her optimism could annoy some people after a while, but I find her so genuine and sweet. There isn't a bad bone in her body. She's just an angel, and somehow makes me want to be a better person. |

| Kagura. Kagura, Kagura, Kagura. Where to begin with you? She's evidently gotten mixed reactions from a lot of people here. Some people enjoyed her, some people hated her. Me? Well I enjoyed her antics with Kyo but I wouldn't say I enjoyed or hated her as a character so I'm kind of in the middle here. Not sure how many times she appeared in the original anime but I'm pretty sure the reactions were like that even then. But it was worth seeing this episode for the rooftop moment with Tohru and Kyo that was pretty sweet. Cuz now we get to see the latter's softer side here. While yeah it's quite iffy that her actions of beating Kyo up even though Kagura loves him is out of nowhere but I feel like she's confused maybe about her feelings? If that makes any sense. But at the same time I doubt she's like a main factor in the story if I've got my facts right. Otherwise I liked the episode, not the best but still liked it regardless. |

I'm anime only, but I'm willing to bet I'll feel the same after meeting them all. That character archetype gets old real fast. I only end up feeling bad for Kyou and hating Kagura. Thank god she's gone. And I serious question Tooru's character for saying she want's to be like Kagura.
Also "it's every girls dream to get married" or whatever Tooru said. Please. I can at least accept that as the type of person she is, but it doesn't stop me from rolling my eyes upon reading it.
| @ProofByColor I can honestly understand why Tohru would admire some of her traits. Kagura wants something and declares it with her entire being. Such people can be overbearing at times, but as someone who represses their feelings (similar to Tohru), I can understand wanting to get a bit more outgoing. |
