| That's great storytelling right there, it's outstanding how much development can be carried on in one single episode. Even though the pacing is very fast, it never skips on much. Wonderful how they even got me rooting for the spider monster sometimes, I don't know how that would work, but I hope she and that dude live in happiness. |
| I'm definitely familiar with Jorogumo because she's a boss from Nioh but this version of her was a lot better. Never thought I'd see a Spider Waifu in this anime~ She started out as a really bratty princess-type of lady and I was rather amused on how she webbed that fly and ate it with her rice to assert dominance over it. She might've been tempted to eat Tashigi but she really held out on doing even if eating normal food just won't cut it because of how kind he was. I'm glad to see that she didn't actually kill anyone even though she's a monster and Hyakki learned that not all of the supernatural should be shunned and killed. That chuckle from him when Dororo acted all cheesy towards the spider was adorable! |

| Surprisingly nobody died in this episode and it even had a happy ending, which is nice, since the last one was very tragic. Jorogumo reminded me a bit of the spider woman from monster musume. Both were misunderstood by humans out fear and yet they ended up falling in love with a human. |

| Heartwarming episode we got after the sad one last episode. Suprised to see both the spiderwoman (taking life force but not killing) and the kidnapper (letting people escape) turning out to be good people. Glad that Hyakkimaru didn't kill her. |
