| The manga also had a rough start, but this adaption has cut out a lot of the early friendship stuff between Anzai and Tsukasa. Like how he takes breaks in between jumping around on her balcony because her place is in his route and he was worried about her [he also thought that the guy from the first episode was her boyfriend, I'm not sure if the anime will include that part, I think they already skipped it], and she sees him and tries to chat with him a lot, it's very cute. Anzai also takes a nap with her after she invites in him to warm himself, they cut that out as well. I mean, it's a GOOD anime so far, but it could've been GREAT if given a two cour. :/ [I enjoy seeing this animated, and it isn't like the plot has been BUTCHERED or anything, but definitely thinned out. The VA for the main cast is really good too.] |

| TBH, i think it's better than episode 1. Maybe because we didn't get chasing scene. This episode focused in building relationship of tsukasa x anzai. Next episode will be fun, there are some action. Keeping low expectationfor now because action scene in episode 1. |
| That still felt out of pace again. Seems like the show's too much focus is about the growing relationship between Anzai and Taira, with some information from vampire cases, about how a relationship between vampire and human develops. About the female vampire, I don't know about how's it in the manga, but that felt rushed, her case just came out fast and we only a get a glimpse of backstory about her and her husband. Those Anzai's punches, serves you right, to the rapist. From blood to urge lust is really emphasized with Anzai unbuttoning his pants scene. |

First a fucking crazy weird girl want a random man's dick when she is a fucking cold hearted person to her childhood friend. Then a lifeless stalker SJW half-zombie police appear like he dont have anything to do. Then what she is trying to do going out when already late night, right after being told to be careful? Fucking awful writing. Good luck watching this boring lame plot. Droped, i dont get anything but disgusted. I cant even enjoy about the romance +17, because idiot braindead, irrational personality and ugly + boring look character. |

I personally loved seeing an anime adaptation. Even if it skipped a lot of things to a point where the plot seemed inconsistent. I alos enjoyed the things they added very much. :) |

I wonder what gives with the bags under his eyes cause without them he is hot stuff. The conversations these two have ... I mean, gee, who talks like that? I was rolling my eyes and saying, "just do her already." I will keep watching just because it's so bad it's so good. >x< |

| This anime is definitely this year's Mayoiga. It's so bad it's almost good - entertaining and funny (even though it's not trying to be). So many ridiculous scenes this episode: 1. "Haven't seen him in awhile, wonder where he is?" *Pulls back blinds and he is there staring through her window* 2. Pleasuring himself while licking some blood 3. Sex between vampires and humans is legal...if a doctor is watching????? 4. Coming into sniff her hair at night...because that's totally romantic. In summary I will keep watching this trainwreck and I will ironically recommend it to others. |
| Oh man! I had a good laugh with this. Some illogical behavior of the MC: -"He forgot his wallet because he went to an important mission and I know it's a dangerous one because he's a freaking half-vampire... what should I do? Oh, follow him" Some hilarious ocurrences: -Male MC stalking on the window. -The girl gets to a highly safeguarded building, a second later she is on the top floor. -That "shoujo anime love at first sight" moment... uuuh, so good. -Guy sniffs girl's hair. -Masturbating to a blood remainder of your loved one. I'm ok with bizarre things like the 'lust attacks' vampires have as long as is consequent with the world building. I'm totally into this anime, so good. |

| Very messy but for some reason I'm kinda enjoying it. Just kinda though. Their relationship building is extremely amateuristic, at least in the anime...one of the worst I've ever seen But again, for some reason I'm not coming round to hate it...yet |
| Impressed by this so far, solid 8/10 from me. Looking forward to next episode :) Surprised to see the low rating currently, since this is shaping up to be one of the best 'mature vampire' anime i've seen so far. |

Its got a low rating because they seriously screwed the pacing all to shit and left out info that gives a lot of motive for actions (such as why he was on her balcony, and no, he was not stalking her. He just happened to look at her window/doors just as she thought to open the drapes), as well as many other world/character/relationship info was also left out of the anime, making the characters and the story seem extremely stupid, compared to the manga. I'm very dissapointed in this anime. |

| I find it hilarious that people are dropping this because of the awful fanservice but continue to watch fanservicey and overly dramatic series like Darling in the Franxx. I think both Devils Line and DITF are series that are so over-the-top and terrible: annoying characters, plotholes, etc. but they're still enjoyable to watch. So bad it's good like most slasher films and American comedies. I think it's ridiculous how this girl almost gets raped twice and how stupid her professor is. Funniest part is Anzai licking her blood off with one hand and jacking off with the other. Also a vampire and human are allowed to have sex if they allow a doctor to watch them lol |

| this starts with a twilight meets tokyo ghoul vibe but it gets better. at least the manga does, that's why i'm trying to stick to it. because to be honest the manga isn't much better than the adaptation at the beginning. when the story starts to develop beyond anzai's and tsukasa's relationship the world it builds is interesting. not that it's a masterpiece, but it's better than a lot of other romances around. |

| I love the fact that the romance starts almost immedietly in this series. There isnt many series that the romance starts quickly, even for romance anime. Thats one of the things that makes this series so re-watchable. |

| Redo of Healer gets a load of flack for supposedly being a "rape fantasy", but I can't say Devils Line is any slouch in that department either. Everyone wants a piece of Taira, including Yuuki himself, and they aren't for asking nicely. It's almost comedic in how brazen it is. Still better than the first episode. The scene with the woman who turned on her husband after what was a previously normal marriage just because she saw blood had some poignancy to it, at least in the sense that it highlighted how tragic these kinds of human/vampire relationships can turn in a mere instant. |
