I felt bad for Honoka this episode. Seems like her condition got worse.
It's also interesting to note that the dream world is also falling apart so I guess it's connected to her ability and condition.

Stray Cat House Man isn't doing any better either with his health. Kinda sad that the False God guy just stands by while all the shit is happening. I think it's also interesting to note that Haruki encounters the dream world version of Sumire.

Back to real world, even for that old guy, who woke up after a long time. It seems like the girl who created the dream world is weakened.

Reset girl lied to him about what Chiru Chiru guy said. Reset and getting to dream world all over again. That talk between Chiru Chiru and the girl who "foresee" future again.

The cat girl meeting that old guy in the dream world again, but alone. It seems like she asked him for a help.

Main guy led the girl go to face the monster and acknowledge that she needs help herself.

The girls meet up. Confessing each other about their feelings regarding to the main guy.

The main guy got himself eaten by the monster, and the old guy meets her to give her chance to use the power.

The girl with the power to foresee future confessed to him when he visited her and asked her. He said he likes reset girl more.

New 4-eps. arc next.

The ending was rather unexpected or maybe just intense, i guess there is still a lot we can expect to happen.
Well for now it things seem clear for the time being the relationship between the characters that is but things might change as the ending suggested.

So Kei has finally made it clear that he prefers Haruki to Soma, but despite that he still reset a Haruki that was ready to change just for the sake of his experiment with Soma. There's certainly a degree of inconsistency here that I can only assume is going to factor into future events, or at least that's what I'm hoping will happen rather than the show using this as an excuse for Soma to become malicious in some way, which is what I'm expecting is likely to happen (but I hope it doesn't).

That Seika and Stray Cat House man about "Friend and it's role" confuse me for some moment.[/s] Finally Michiru accept her true wish and also meet with the person she used to scared of.
But now appeared another seemingly-interesting "conflict". About what Soma said every time Kei asking Haruki for a reset and what will happen to her.

So Haruki met the dream version of Sumire. That's interesting. What's also interesting is the fact that Haruki's reset ability affects her every time she uses it, a point Sumire made.

In the end Michiru accepted her true self. Kei playing the hero... what a sweet lie.

And this is why I can't give this show any of the higher scores: just when it's starting to become good, it falls right back down.

Kei likes Haruki more, okay, I can't fathom what is there to love about the robot girl who's also a jealous little thing without much will at the same time, but okay. Except it begs the question, why the hell was he obsessed with reviving Souma, in which he eventually succeeded, in the first place.

Haruki admitted that she didn't like the idea to begin with and wanted Souma to stay dead (because she's jealous, lol), and Kei, who apparently prides himself on knowing her, should've known that much. He could have moved on, dated Haruki or something, and neither of them would have given more than a passing thought to Souma and her death as something from the past. Yet he persistently searched for a way to revive Souma anyway. What for? Reviving her for the sake of his ego and self-satisfaction from "fixing" his mistake? Just to make her suffer again from unrequited love for him? In which case the word cruel Souma used doesn't even begin to describe what he has done.

Kei made his preference pretty clear. Poor Sumire Soma.
He seemed kinda regretful(?) when knowing that he missed a Haruki's development after the reset. But I think he would choose that way even knowing so. Why is he so obssessed with helping(?) Sumire Soma? He said he "like Haruki more", so that also means he does like Sumire, just not as much as Haruki, maybe as an important friend. But as smart as Kei is, and giving the fact that he knew she's a witch, he would understand that reviving her would bring more bad than good. I thought he was trying to "fix his mistake" or even using her ability for his own benefit, but his action's so contradicted to himself somehow. He went too far on "helping Sumire", to the point he would hurt his loved one Haruki. I know Kei's hard to understand, but I never expect to be this 'hard'.

Its interesting that Kei could "love" both out of a sense of guilt. He might feel guilty for using his ability on the day of Soma's death and also feels guilty of resetting sections that lead to the lack of development of Haruki. Based on Kei's conversation with the Witch a few episodes Kei seems to prefer Haruki more regardless of her stone faced personality.

The good part is that Honoka makes some strides in solving her problems without having to end the dream world and putting the people in it in danger. The bad part is that I don't know exactly what's the deal between Kei and Soma. Are they friends? Enemies? What's up with all the constant planning and scheming behind each other's backs? And what does the guy in the suit plan to do with Kei and Misora? The series really has to pull out all the stops to become interesting, lest it becomes a agonizing slog to watch every week.

Pretty interesting conversation between Soma and Kei at the end (for some reason I got "I love Emilia" flashbacks when Kei told Soma that he likes Haruki more than her lol). We also learned that resetting affects Haruki each time, it should be interesting to see how Kei and Haruki's relationship will change going forward.

It almost appears like that Souma turned into some kind of antagonist during this arc. Curious to see how this love triangle will develop.

And the fact that Haruki is slowly changing after every reset is another interesting aspect.

That was pretty heavily hinted, I agree, especially in their convo after her revival (he says he has changed and won't ignore an invitation from a girl to watch sunset together, Souma asks him, in reference to his refusal 2 years ago, "Even if you have an unfinished novel to read?" and he says that yes, even in that case). So he fully understands that if he was a little less self-absorbed and was willing to take obvious hints, she might have not gone through with her plan to kill herself. He friggin cried when he learned from the Witch that yes, he would succeed in reviving Souma. And then, after all those pains and emotions, 'I like Haruki more'. Okaaaaaay, dude.

Seriously, he's so completely all over the place and contradicting himself in the same breath that I find it almost unbearable. I have to agree with the person some posts above that hard to understand is one thing, but what we have with Kei here is starting to look more like a screwed up random mess than complicated yet cleverly logical scheme.

I feel like this is a series that you'll need to follow to the very end to understand everything that's happened in between the story. That's why it feels like the story is a bit all over the place but for me it's another progress with this arc, with more understanding between the character and how they sided. There's more to play, tho, the Bureau havent step in yet, we dont know the scenario that Kei read before the reset, and maybe other things that i missed.

Hmm so Chiruchiru cease to exist. Thought I'd get to see the plan Kei had in mind. But they didn't showed us! In fact, it's Soma who learns about it mysteriously.

Ayy can't miss the cat fight on the rooftop XD

So we finally get to see the confession part and why she's adamant to leave the town. But why did she said it was for Haruki?? >_> Now I wonder what's Soma's real objective.
And yeah I think MC is better off with Soma than Haruki.

I don't think she meant "stay dead" Haruki isn't like that, both her and Kei really just wants to save Soma bcoz they regretted that they could've done something 2 years ago

What she meant is just for Soma to distance herself away from Kei

She didn't meet the dreamworld version of Sumire. Real Sumire was there, didn't she just told Kei that.

Their dreamworld versions has had hardly any importance in this arc

I was thinking the same thing! Like, then why did we waste all this time on Soma if he was just going to shut her down as she was ridiculous for even confessing! This show is weird, and everytime it starts to make sense it catches itself and goes back to being weird again lol

Didn't Kei want to revive Soma before the Bureau did? Since the Bureau were in search for another person who had future seeing powers. I'm assuming Kei also didn't want Soma to end up being locked up like the witch. That's why he wanted to take Soma out of sakurada.

Interesting episode

The revelation that Honoka was inside that monster was a nice revelation though. But to think that if she did not use her ability she will be testament to committing suicide though. Nono and the old man's reunion in the real world sure wasn't a happy one though It's actually nice seeing this side of Nono's personality. So Haruki's greatest wish is to be of greater worth to Kei by growing up more eh. The entrance of the bureau into the dream world that joins God and the monster really made things pretty complex in that world thats for sure. I guess It's only natural that Michiru would be on guard on hearing his words though. Seeing the future must really drain Souma though but i guess its part of the exchange for this power of hers.

It's funny seeing Souma act as the third party that both sides are relying on though. To think that Souma will be acting as the third party in this arc though. Its nice to see Nono is trying so hard to mend her relationship with the old man though. Saving Michiru so as to gain her trust eh. And Haruki and Souma finally get to have a real talk as well. So Souma's ultimate plan is something that will create sadness for Kei. Haruki sure has gotten braver since she reformed her two personalities though. It's funny how Haruki's decision now mirrors Souma's two years ago though. This plan of Kei's though it has a decent chance of working is a bit on the rash side though. So Nono convincing the old man was also part of Kei's plan eh. His plan while rash certainly was broad. To think that Honoka's ability had that large of effect though. Hmm well at least this arc was brought to a successful conclusion and that Kei got what he needed from this event. So Souma really wants to stay in the town then. Its nice that Kei finally admits that the one that he likes is Haruki though. But to think that Kei's command this time wiped out Haruki's determination to bond with you with feelings rather than by necessity through their abilities though. Every action has a consequence after all.

Nice Honoka finally accepted herself, her emotion monster & Straycatman's wisdom. It's the real blue bird in a way. I like the discussion on 'smiles' that extends beyond the cliche.
Nonoo thoughts on grandpa vs friend role, and what she wanted to be. It was kinda sweet like their ending tea party.
Confession happened. Kei obviously knows (or pretends), but clarifies he likes Haruki more. Both girls reach understanding they both do everything for Kei. Too bad Haruki's revelation from Chiruchiru got lost.

Ginea pig? Did Kei already try getting Souma outside...but didn't show it?

Kei outright denying Sumire was pretty brutal. You could tell she was mad with how hard she clapped back at him though.

And, as expected, Sumire has no intention of leaving Sakurada. I'm not sure why Kei is so fixated on getting her out, especially since he doesn't seem to love her. Seems a little selfish on his part, though I suppose most of what he does is selfish. If anything I'd think the best solution would be to work on getting himself out, because he seems to be the most trapped of everyone so far.

Important and interesting ending. I really hope Sumire won't become an enemy or something, she's much better than Haruki. What happened to Kei's desire to save Sumire, what was that all for?

Now Kei's decision to reset erased Misora's development, but it made someone happy which is something he said before that he will always do. And even then, Misora kept the truth from him despite knowing she will forget that so it's not as much Kei's fault as it looks to be. Also even if that happened, she still confronted Sumire and told her to stay away from him so I don't know if she really forgot that. Did she say that just to see Kei happy or because she still wants to be the most important person to him, even after the reset?

And nooo, now we don't know what that script volume said.

Hello forum readers from the past and from the future.

The anime gained points with me with this open declaration and their feelings being couldly set clearly.

SUMIRE knows that Souma is going to be killed or suffer something horrible due the Bureau, and she wants to help him because love him, but she is bothered with the pain that they will never be togheter.

SOUMA is still a human-contradiction, since he is all a smart-ass with his plans, but about the most basic, Haruki feelings, he is all stupid, useless and uninterested in actually help her, being this arc an entire proof. If he really cared about her, he would say to Sumire that no matter what the resets did wrong, he will stay at Hiroki's side until fix everything.
Also, he is stupid for not realize that ALL what Sumire did, even suicide (the only way to stay out of Bureau's radar), was to SAVE HIM.

HARUKI actually did a great move in this current timeline, confronting Sumire and understanding her. Even the Robot is being smarter the MC.

The OLD GUY is the Author's literal alter-ego. The SCRIPT is literally the script of the anime (meta moment), just as like the MACGUFFIN is literally a Macguffin. I'm loving these jokes in this series.
