| awh, last episode.. ........and Sindbad is just Sin again, i wanna see ValeSin ;_;'! also; i can't imagine all the kind of shit Hina's been put through by the females.. my feels are there for him, they've been since he was kidnapped by the blondes _|D that's top-notch trading for you; forming alliances with countries that doesn't allow foreigners -yo! halfway into the last episode; where's Hina and what's his mental state..? .....ah.... yeah, he's fucking dead. drained of live. bitches. bitches. hounds. bitches. assholes.. i hate them. women are evil. poor Hina, i'm gonna mourn his somewhat-there innocence for as long as i remember about these events _|D figures, it was only men. have at the you perverted freaks! retribution for leaving Hina there for so long! i don't think the poor boy's ever gonna recover from that -w-' ....if his wife even let him live for that long, ugh. ...eghad, i can't get the images of what Hina must have lived through out of my head... all of that hentai's backlashing in my head, wai.. aand.... over. now the question is; would i prefer a Magi season 3, or Sindbad season 2... ugh, choices... i wanna know how Drakon turns into a lizard, how and when mr. pink-hair joins the ranks and how he builds his country from nothing and stuff.. without having to read the manga.... ...poor Hina. that's like, what i'm gonna take with me from this anime; poor Hina. and w-oooowww.. that post-credit scene. ....i hate when things are left like this _xD! 2017- what'll you add to this franchise ._. ? ...i could see there being a Sindbad movie with Drakon, getting the rest of his crew and making that country though -w-.... ///i like commenting while watching my episodes.. |

| What a great season. This was a side story that needed an anime, Sinbad is such an interesting character and his adventures are a huge part of Magi's history. He is so strong, courageous, and charismatic, I love Sinbad. His gang is very cool too and I like seeing how his business started and how that eventually leads to him making a country. Visiting all the different parts of the world is fascinating indeed. And seeing Drakon before he goes full dragon is very cool and I never would have imagined that him and Sinbad had a rough history like that (speaking of Drakon, it looks like he ran off with the pink haired girl, good for him!) And lol Hinahoho got reserved raped it seemed like, but god damn, what a luckily bastard! He was the underrated chick magnetic across the board this season. And little Pisti was adorable! She has a huge family as well, I liked the queen. I have to say I was very impressed by Lay-duce, they had great animation and I loved the character designs. I also love the thick edges the characters have on them. Ir was fluid and the fight scenes were so well done, even surpassing the original at times. One thing I missed from the old series was the music and the sound effects, especially for the ruhk since it's so memorizing and soothing in the original series. I miss the Arabian nights-esque soundtrack, it really fit the series well, but this show had some good tunes just not nearly as good as the original. Also I thought the chibis in the original series was better, but Lay-duce was pretty close lol. It was so good to watch Magi again, I love this series. Overall I'd give it a 8/10. |
| This Amazon part was the best of the series, but two things felt too much for me: - the "traditional" gender roles swap turning men into the cliché of an homosexual travesty (not that I share this view) - the way the kind of war rape that occured presented as something funny and that people should envy. I must also have skipped something because I never noticed any sign of Sinbad developing such a giant ego before his last comment. 2/5 It was a nice little adventure: even if anecdotal, it was more often entertaining than not, never favouriting heavily drama over comedy. The lack of any type of conclusion gives it a worthless look. Score 6.5-/10 Could up to 7 if it receives some form of conclusion. |

| Enjoyed the first half of the series, was very disappointed with the ending arc. It just needed more time, another season is what it needs. I cannot even imagine the disappointment for those who have read the manga... + Sinbad's charisma and intelligence; even the early naivety. + Sinbad's debut as a trader and his overall philosophy in running a kingdom. Very different to Kou Empire's militaristic state backed soft power and Riem's emphasis on urban development and expansion policy. + Wasn't much but they fleshed out the household vessels. - Overuse of chibi faces, again, nothing wrong with it by itself but with the amount of episodes, badly used time. - Sinbad is too OP, there is hardly any tension or stakes when Sinbad is involved for now.. In magi S1&S2, it was the opposite, to the point it was irritating and too much plot armor. Though of the two I prefer a balance, tipping towards Sinbad. Kids should make mistakes... In shows where the mc becomes a bonafide badass polymath (trade, statecraft, martial arts, charisma, intelligence, strategy etc.) they usually perform a timeskip of the childhood or they show signs of strong traits that will define them later but a FEW colossal fkups, friends backing them and good luck, has to be believable of course. |

| This is probably, if not THE BEST spin off i've ever watched so far. So darn good i want a 2nd season of it. Because hesn't met all Ambasadors of the 7 seas like Sharrkan Amun-Ra, Masrur, etc. Only half way through. At least i want to see the moment Sinbad became a King, but still enjoyable to watch nonetheless. Overall score 8/10 |

| So just a wrap-up episode basically, it was alright. Overall a good show, but the last three episodes were bad. I did not enjoy watching those, too much white-knighting or whatever you wanna call it. 6/10, weaker than the other two Magi seasons. |

| This last arc gave off a feeling that the author believes that the only way to make a woman listen to you is to overpower her and force her to obey. To basically use violence and show them who's boss and then they'll step off their high pedestal and grovel at your presence (not saying the Queen did just that but this last arc gave off this feeling). I know the author is a woman (i think?) that's why I think I'm wrong and maybe I'm looking too much into this but this last arc is just a perfect representation of toxic masculinity. The Queen wants to be Alpha but too bad Sinbad a pubescent boy is the true Alpha and no matter how much she tries she can't stand her ground and instead have to accept his offer. |

| So Totaly 55 Chapters adapted thats more than 4 chapters per episode, well for a side character of Magi main cast Sin actually did well since this is adapted from his own manga which he is the lead of course. not a bad show enjoyed the beginning a lot more 6/10 |
| To be honest, it was kind of a weak ending and things started to go haywire in terms of pacing since the start of the second half of the series but Sinbad's badassery has been a welcome treat nonetheless. Sinbad returns to the Reim Kingdom and his office. Unsurprisingly, the business is going great lol. I was expecting to see the King of Balbadd but well. After credit scene, very nice tease there to sign things off with. It's a pity that there hasn't been a second season to build up on that yet though. Seeing young Pisti, Ja-far and the most surprising of all Drakon was really nice. Would've liked to see young Yamraiha (joining Sinbad's crew phase) and Sharkann too. What surprised me most about this particular adaption was the quality of animation during some of the high-tempo scenes. I didn't think Lay-duce would be able to reproduce A-1's effort and so it's a very pleasing treat. Sound department wise as well, it was pretty good, the ED in particular stood out to me a lot. All in all, this is getting a generous 7/10 from me. Considered a 6/10 for a while but I feel it's better than that for the time being. |

| as i figured out, the "end" here wasn't that ending. in the end this TV adaption were more continuation to the OVA rather than make full-adaption. this story truly have long-run potential, as adventure plot can have almost endless options. one piece is good example for that. the problem is - even though sinbad spin-off was better in production matter, in plot wise matter main story had better direction at story. we actually knows how sinbad gonna end up, so the most interest plot in this series is more of what the "epilogue" had showed. but since it's ending here, i'm just feeling we haven't got the true story at all. don't get me wrong, i'm pretty much enjoyed it, but it just didn't have felt like watching plot driven series but more adventure side stories. problem is, it isn't, so we missed the big plot here. specially since we don't have 2nd season and that "epilogue" is kind of saying we won't get. that, end the fact i liked more the fantasy and mystery elements magi main story has. 7/10 |
