I'll see if anyone can figure out the anime i'm thinking of because I remember watching a lot of different random animes that would come on different channels at the most random times but I could never remember thier names because unless they were the ones on Toonami or one of those severely editted/censored animes that were rehashed into a kid friendly americanized anime, I won't really remember their titles xD

But again, thank you, I'll check out that facebook group and see what anyone turns up. Hopefully someone has an answer because I feel like the scene I remember is part of an anime that's right on the tip of my tongue and under my nose.

S0rry f0r the late response, things got a bit busy. Aha true, I don't think there's anything as obscure as Tokyo Babylon unless you look some old 90s animes that would borderline on being hentai (like an anime called Golden Boy ^^;).

Oh by the way, speaking of obscure anime from the 80a/90a (and possibly from the 2000s) do you remember an anime that had an androgynous looking (or just a slightly feminine looking male character or a woman who happens to dress up like a guy) character who rode in an topless car (a convertible maybe?) or a motorcycle through a long tunnel with a lot of orange/brown shades in the tunnel? Like the scene I remember is a character that i described above in a tunnel, standing near or in/on a car or a motorcycle when they get a call from someone on some kind of communicator or they think of someone. One name comes from the scene (even tho I dont really remember the exact name).

The name sounds something like Ryu... Ryo, or Ryoko or some other similar sounding name. Also the character had white or pale blonde hair that was shoulder length or close to it. I remember watching this anime roughly around the time i discovered Tokyo Babylon and I've been searching for it ever since.

I've had some people say it may have been Cyber City Ooedo but the character from that doesn't fit what I remember.

Hiii! Sorry for the late response, I'm glad to see someone else had seen Tokyo Babylon pre-2004 as well. I was like ten or eleven when i stumbled upon it on tv a long time ago and while i didn't fully understand what was going on back then, I actually liked it. But it is a small universe :)
