| I just wanted to finish the story but I should have stopped after the first season. I mean this is shounen after all but why even do a setup like this? If we go with something more realistic the world is now lost. There is no way to defeat Hakumen anymore. But the power of shounen will find a way. Someone will get incredible powers just like that and defeat Hakumen. Man... And then it is even the one fucking anime I want to spoiler (I guess we are all curious how many people died and if Ushio's mother survives) to myself and thought I had good chances considering this is old as fuck compared to other currently airing anime but, who would have thought otherwise, I can't find any sites with information. I could look for the source but I really don't want to read the entire final chapters just for that. Well. At least the soundtrack when Ushio was tossed into the ocean was amazing. This anime really has some awesome soundtracks. edit: I almost forgot. At this point Ushio annoys me so much. It's unbearable. I understand the situation is difficult and everything but this was just plain stupid behavior of him. I agree with him getting his mother away from there first but then go back to fighting. wtf... Instead he gets slapped by his mother and then totally loses it. Get real. Your idea was fucking stupid and that's why you were slapped. |

| Does anybody know which soundtrack plays when the spear breaks and Ushio gets bashed into the sea? I really need to know. I rarely like choral music but this was done just right. Wish I could listen to it somewhere else. Having to open an episode for this is kinda annoying :P Even though I kinda enjoyed the scene. |

He is maybe throwing his life by doing that and all he got is : -His friends forgot all about him -He got slapped by his mother that he searched for so long -The person/monster he trusted the most of all, Tora, killed one of his friend -All his friends who had nothing to do with this are targeted by Hakumen no Mono to provoke despair on Ushio Just how ? Haters, explain me, how can someone be ok mentally after all the shit he went through ? |
| This is one of the moments where I'm actually okay with the MC completely breaking down. Especially that moment with Tora - can't believe he went through with saying he killed Nagare when Ushio's in such a fragile state of mind. Everyone's dying left and right and Ushio's not doing good. Hakumen no Mono is a BEAST. Please no friendship power to resolve this! |
| This was an AWESOME episode, what makes shounen series so damn fun to watch is when it looks like they've lost everything, and how they find the strength to come back and win is always quite the spectacle in the best of such series, and Ushio and Tora is definitely up there! |

| Hakumen makes a pretty impressive appearence between respawning all his avatar, manipulating Ushio into careless attacking it (then again he has been on this plan for a while) and blowing up stuff. |
