Pretty tense episode.

I haven't seen Hazama so worked up in awhile.

The way the participates in trying make a difference is very noticeable while there's a decent amount of background focus about the historical horrors of torture. Episode felt kinda slowed paced though. The experimentation of this show is pretty cruel D:

Damn, seeing this new side of Hazama was something else O.o I want more of this lol

Pretty cool episode and I almost thought that Johnny was a goner for a second there but thanks to the Russian dude both he and Hazama made it out okay

That ending scene was very interesting though, primarily what they said about Tommy and it makes me feel as if they're foreshadowing something big in the future with him and that guy he was next too with the alligator card

Yeah that looks interesting, I hope that means we can get a second season...because I'm sure the next arc will take up the rest of the episodes (though it should take up more than that if they really are going to finish it. It's the longest arc so far in the manga).

I guess they're really skipping that arc that's supposed to come before Johnny's? :( B-but they showed the character designs for them in the ED.

Same, lol. Hazama was hilarious the way he made it so urgent and how confident he sounded with the diagnosis. Hazama is also being paid attention to by the CIA...I wonder what Dr. Risenberg went through exactly that he thinks Hazama will go down the same route. I really liked the conversation between Dr. Risenberg and the CIA guy. Disposing of someone who would be evidence for what experimentation they've done :/ What Dr. Risenberg to help Johnny was a different way of saving a life.

So it turns out Johnny never went to Vietnam. Dr. Risenberg must have had one hell of a past if he believed that Hazama would end up going down the same path he did. Seems like there was some foreshadowing at the end as well.

I felt really bad for Johnny, sick shit they did on him. Risenberg saved Johnny from dying later on. And he thinks that Hazama would be like him in the past and saved him, too from his perspective. Really good episode again.

Woah, the conclusion of this arc was good.
And I loved when Hazama lied to Johnny!

Hazama acting like some crazy mofo and threatening to amputate Johnny worked like a charm.

I'm excited for next week's episode. I'm lovin' their funky hairstyles.

Hazama's acting and the way he made Johnny confess was awesome.

Loved Risenberg's reaction to Hazama being similar to him and what he did to Johnney. Hope we see more of him

Man, that scene with Yabu x Johnny on the beginning could bring a huge misunderstanding hahaha

But I'm glad everythings turned out okay....at least for now

Told you. Hazama best boy and MC of the season. Badass bastard; he can now freely rival with Saitama and Genos in those two positions, just saying.

I'm so caught between thinking Hazuma tricking Johnny was light hearted or really wicked and sneaking for lying like that. Either way though amazing scene. I like the way Hazuma lies and stuff to get more experience and the answers that he needs. Despite what Reisenberg said I like the ethics Hazuma shows. Both interesting, and something that I personally think a doctour should do. If something is wrong, they shouldn't give up, and if they want to become greater through experience as long as they don't harm someone in the mean while then all for it.

Well either way, great episode can't wait for the next arc?

People still complaining about man service though, like really? If you've gotten this far and are still complaining there is a problem.

I was laughing at the entire last half of this episode when he just fucking electrocuted Johnny and they made it look like the most evil shit ever but my god.
The next episode preview.
I saw these character designs already but MY GOD. I CAN'T DO IT. THEY'RE SO BAD. WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF THESE MONSTROSITIES? This show needs to be burnt lmaooooo this is so bad, got a guy that looks like a damn spider jumped on his head. And that wheelchair guy's fucking yugioh hair's gonna tip his chair over, in fact if that doesn't happen in the episode I'm suing.

Well if you are mentioning "russian dude" as the doctor who has extremely large nose I supposed that you misunderstand historic things...
Those who first made experimentations with jews was the nazist germans, not the russians. So I guess that the doctor are a german dude not russian.

Great episode, is the ending foreshadowing things that occurred in the original Black Jack or is it just stuff that hasn't happened yet in YBJ? Either way definitely checking out the original after this series finishes.

Also, just gotta love that creepy ost that played when the doc injected and cured Johnny. The guy sure has a way of doing things lol.

Definitely my favorite arc so far, found this to be far more gripping than the Vietnam segment. The questions of morality felt a bit cartoon-ish up to this point so it was great to get something that finally weighed down on my mind. That scene with the Nazi gas chambers was particularly disturbing, bringing out the malice and horror of what took place during the Holocaust. It's nice to see that Johnny is finally able to settle down peacefully with Tiara, but it was still sad when it showed him feeling pain again and how his entire image was shattered by the realization of his fear of death.

Tommy seemed like a pretty cool dude, but that clown thing was seriously freaky. Gotta wonder if that's foreshadowing of a character in Black Jack. This actually makes me want to watch that now.

Dr.Risenber is a Nazi doctor that did experiments with jews in concentration camps...WOW unexpected xD
Still,he did a great job,he returned Johnny's life and "saved" Hazama's life too.

Hazama's bluffing and the way he stuck to it until he got a confession out of Johnny was really amusing to watch. The rest of the episode was rather grim but in a very interesting way. He's the sort of person to usually end up in all sorts of crazy situations but getting involved in top-secret CIA military experiments was way too dangerous of a situation even for him.

I felt a bit bad for Johnny when he felt pain again but at least he's not gonna end up killing himself anymore. I wonder what the hell's up with Tommy though.
