| Crocodile, Luffy, Zoro, Igaram, the marines, none of their situations were updated. One Piece really needs to work on time management and organization of events per episode. At least that's what I would prefer; it would keep the tempo up. Another thing I wish One Piece did would use realism in its fights. I'm fine with insane special powers, but a 4-ton bat to the head of a human, and then being able to get up afterward is too extreme. Okay, complaints aside, I loved seeing Sanji and Mr. 2 with their equally matched fight. Chopper and Usopp's teamwork was strong and seeing Usopp's determination when defending his nakama, Luffy, was a great moment. |

| It's so good to see how Usopp grows up...bit by bit, really sloooowly but he becomes braver. Never believe that Sanji can be beaten so easy by Bon Clay with Nami's face. Especially after Sanji's words about a person being not only appearance, but the heart. It would be rather hard for him to beat woman's face but I believe in my beloved cook ;-) Vivi is a true daughter of her father... |

| Thats the biggest bullshit i have ever seen in this anime, and this is saying a lot... How could Usopp survive that bat, let alone move and breathe afterwards? Also, Mr 4's and the penguin survived 13 balls (yes, I've counted it...) going off all at once, but were defeated after a mere hammer attack? Tsk tsk tsk... First half of this episode is 1/5 for me, especially because of the needlessly dragged out fight...and its disappointing ending :/ |

This is not exactly the first time Usopp has beared a strong pressure in his body. Remember that episode with Miss Valentine... 2. Hammer/bat hit + bomb ball + a wall falling on them + I assume the previous 13 balls also count in weakening them. Also, we can't make sure at all that Mr. 4 is defeated, maybe he'll wake up 100 episodes later due to his slowness. In the end, this part is nothing more and nothing else than the typical discourse on determination. It kinda makes sense that characters like Usopp are able to get a superhuman resistance in order to reinforce the strength of that discourse. Of course it's not at all realistic (not that the series ever tried to), but I think that criticizing One Piece for that is sort of missing the point of the show. And by the way, Sanji vs Mr.2 was totally lolworthy. Nice episode overall. |
| 4 ton bat to the skull was brutal. But I loved the fact that Usopp finally decided to fight and kicked some butt as a result of that. Sanji is ... yeah. Meelorinee! And is Vivi really that stupid? She is planning to destroy the palace with 4k years of history in it just to get the Rebel army's attention? What if they don't buy her story? Why can't she simply open the gates and let Kohza along with some rebel officers enter so that they could come up with a peace treaty? She won't become a good queen if she keeps on using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. |

| Usopp and Chopper's fight was alright. I don't have much comment on that. Bon Clay's fighting ability being just suddenly thrown up there to match Sanji's inhuman kicks made me facepalm. I know they're trying to make the battle interesting, but this is silly and really should be one-sided.(with Sanji being the victor of course). I'm starting to not care about Vivi or what she's doing with the rebel army. I lost interest in her character. I just skip to what the other characters are doing. |

| I was worried the fight against Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas was going to go on for longer, but I'm glad it didn't because we got to see more of Sanji's fight. :D It really is too bad about the villains here, though... I really dislike how goofy they all are. I think Number 2 might be the worst of them all, he's just so stupid. On the other side of that, we've got Crocodile, who's just far too much of a generic, stock villain to be interesting at all. There needs to be some kind of middle-ground. Anyway, destroying the castle, huh? I wonder what Vivi's plan is going to be after that. She said she's trying to get everyone's attention, but for what? Also, it looks like there's more Sanji in the next episode, which is good. He's quickly becoming my favorite character, right alongside Zoro. :) Still, who the hell is Mellorine? |

| Man, I wish Mr. 4 and Ms. Merrychristmas would suffer more before being defeated. Poor Usopp (the real hero here, let's be honest) has gone through some serious pain and damage until he wins and proves his ultimate bravery. All I wanted was the villains to be beaten up a lot more, specially after Ms. Merrychristmas starts mocking Luffy's dream. They surelly deserved more, they were defeated very easily. |
| So Usopp of all people is able to survive getting slammed through walls 3 times, have a building fall on top of him and get a full swing from Mr. 4 yet Ms. Merry Christmas gets knocked out from one swing and Mr. 4 gets taken out by a hammer shot. OK. Dammit Sanji control yourself xD |

| This was one of the best Usopp moments yet, it's easily in my top 3 and is perhaps my favorite. The other moments being the Khaladore scene where he grabbed the pirates legs refusing to let them pass while giving it his all, and the scene where he finally started to view the straw hats as people to fight for and refused to pretend to be dead and fought the big lips fish. Honorary mention to the scene where he was shot and was crying in the Khaladore arc and he wiped his tears, hid his gun wound, and put on a smile for his pirates while lying for their safety. :( Usopp is great. "There are times a man should never run, like when they mock his friends dream. Luffy will become the king of pirates and that's one thing I won't let you laugh at!", as beautiful and amazing as this line was it makes me think of when Usopp was trying to stop the Khaladore pirates and they all laughed at him causing Luffy to step in saying a very similar line of "WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?!". Both have officially defended each others honor and ambitions. <3 Usopp in scenes like this one is easily my favorite character in the anime. Moments like when he stood after having his face broken, and when he mimicked Merry Christmas's voice to get Mr.4 to swing are some of the best. The Bon Clay vs Sanji fight is reminiscent of a dance with the music implying it as well. Both Sanji and Bon Clay move in sync and attack with each other using only their feet. It's quite pretty in a way. I predicted the Nami face swap but it was pretty predictable. Vivi telling Shaka to destroy the palace was unexpected but greatly appreciated. When Shaka looked at her like he did I had already realized why he was shocked, because she said exactly what Cobra did in the past, but then we got a long flashback explaining that. I wish he had rather just thought something in his head to make it more clear rather than showing that. This is an interesting direction to take, I doubt Crocodile was ready for such a bold move. Lastly, I have a prediction that since Zoro is up against 2 people and Tashigi isn't in the city yet that she may get there just in time to help Zoro out. |
| Getting smashed against multiple walls is one thing but seeing Usopp get his face smashed in by a 4-ton bat was so painful to watch that I had nothing but pity for the guy. But despite that, Nakama Power had him withstand the pain long enough for them to find an awesome and clever way to defeat both of their opponents! Sanji and Bon Clay's definitely on par with each other but the latter's ability to turn into Nami-chwan's given him a gigantic advantage. I'm excited to see Vivi bring the house down so everyone will finally shut up and listen. |

| Maaan, that fight with Usopp and Chopper was so dreadful. I despise whenever this show just decides that the protagonists won't fight back and instead will take whatever the enemies throw at them, only to win immediately after actually trying to. Luffy's encounter with Crocodile was much better despite being very one-sided because Luffy was actually fighting. Usopp and Chopper just kinda stoop there most of the time. Also, the 4-ton bat to the face bit was too much bullshit even for this show. One Piece can be great at times but darn, does it have some incredibly frustrating moments. |

| Aww... Usopp really looks up to Luffy ;_; ... That freakin' mole-impact and 4-ton bat though... Definitely destroyed Usopp's nose... I would definitely die if that happened irl...LOL! Glad that those villains are defeated. I knew Sanji would be weak when it comes to girls, especially Nami/Vivi. Hope he can overcome the fake ones. |

| Damn, getting dragged straight through brick walls was still believable but getting smacked right in the face with a 4-tonne bat and getting the front of his skull smashed, is outlandish. I know I shouldn't be applying logic here but someone like Usopp withstanding that is too hard to believe. Horn point was pretty cool but the fight seemed kind of an asspull. Sanji and Bon Clay are evenly-matched kick fighters but now he has transformed into Nami which is a big disadvantage. Vivi will destroy the palace?? |

| YES FINALLY MISS MERRY CHRISTMAS AND MR 4 ARE GONE FOR GOOD! YEAH TEAMWORK! In all seriousness though, I really do like Usopp's admiration and not only does get really pissed off at Miss Merry Christmas for calling Luffy's dream, his dream, childish and calls her out on it he then has the motivation to just whoop her ass on the spot which just shows that even though Usopp can get annoyed with his captain's antics at times because of him being crazy and whatnot but there is loyalty in his words. Definitely loyalty to his captain which is what I want to see from the Straw Hats as group altogether. That being said I love that Chopper just forgot he is the doctor of the group when he's tending to Usopp's injuries at the end of the fight and the latter himself had to remind me what his role was for the Straw Hats. XD On the other side, Sanji is equally matched with Bon Clay. Somehow I knew his weakness for Nami was probably gonna be brought up and then exposed at some point. Otherwise he's really holding his own against the Ballerina agent of Baroque Works. At the very least Vivi did convince the guards to let her pass but how they didn't just recognise her considering her hairstyle is literally the same as it was before she left Alabasta and that they'd be able to tell it was their princess from her alone, boggles my mind. Otherwise a pretty funny episode both from Usopp and Chopper and Sanji's sides of the episode itself. Pretty good, pretty good. |
