| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I thought the episode was tense. Kaito obviously has inspiration from his father although I don't think a gun is really suitable for his character. Kaito's disguise to steal that pot is priceless though imo. Glasses and police outfit ha. Anyways, nice episode. These may be cheap little tricks but I like the way Kaito gets his fun out of the thrill. |

| He was still able to escape, thanks to that one of the underlines to make it like before. His mother is glad that the group is caught thanks to Kaito. Returning what Phantom Lady stole. Conan there! It is not showing their first encounter, then. Real competition against Conan next. Conan's phrase in Kaito preview!! |

| Using the trashcan to tip the car. Wished Aoko was awake so it would had been even more similar! Having to foil the replica thing but with him against Conan. That was some cheering, a Kaitou Kid museum would be really popular! |

| Kaitou managed to escape with Aoko just like how his dad did with Phantom Lady. Nice stuff! That mom always seems so carefree yet quite confident about Kaitou's capability to carry on after his dad. She's still so pretty though! :3 The transition between the notices was a bit flawed, which gave Conan a cue as to what Kaitou might be up to. Little guy is smart. Good episode. Returning the items may not go so well for Kaitou as Conan also stands in his way. Show is getting even more interesting! |

| Those sure are idiot subordinates that guy has XD. Kaitou made his amazing escape with Aoko safe and sound. Kaitou should have just kissed Aoko like the man he claims he is XD. LOL... dieting she says... Dat disguise doe... Conan and the girls spotted :D Hmmm, how come Kaitou recognized Conan since in this series they haven't met since he in Shinichi form and in a helicopter... Kaitou sure has a lot of fangirls XD. I can't wait to see Kaitou vs Conan :D |

| He escaped like his old man did, but with a car. He almost thought about kissing Aoko there. Detective Conan was there and it looks like he will be an annoyance in Kaito's plans. We'll just have to see what happens next. |

| This is confusing because there are a few characters that look almost exactly the same but it was a good episode anyways =) The more confusing the more interesting :p |
| Seeing this from a DC watcher POV, Conan as the enemy and being in Kaito's POV is so different. Gives a unique experience if you have seen the DC episode in this. Really entertaining to see Kaito on the protagonist side now. |

| I knew Kaito and Conan had meetings, but the way this show did it I felt like I missed an episode over knowing that it would mean those meetings occurred and we should know that lol. I like Cased Close ten thousand times more than this anime so I still hope Conan owns him, though I assume that won'tbe the case. TBH, I like the main characters male, female and adults more in Cased Closed than this anime >.>. |

| I remember it being said that Kid was originally to find Pandora so I thought this would lead into Toichi's connection to Snake, but he actually started to replace Phantom Lady?? Was that a side bonus for the real reason or a mistake? Either way, I'm 95% sure this episode was in Detective Conan. I remember all this crap about Ryouma's fakes and that teacup is familiar. That said, I'm honestly surprised they had him, Ran and Sonoko cameo since these shows like to tease Conan but not actually reveal him. Kaito in a police uniform (dang those brown contacts look better on him than blue, nngh) = yes please Kaito's soft smile at seeing Conan = my crops are watered and flourishing The art is kinda janky tho. Conan especially. At least the previews look better. |
| This is a really good episode; the Ryouma's Fakes is a case in the Detective Conan serie (episodes 627 and 629), but here we can see the plot from the perspective of Kaito Kid, thats a really cool idea |
