| An okay episode - I liked the monster designs on the ship, especially that pig guy with the protruding brain, but the "who is the 5th guy?" thing got really old. I'm sure like 90% of the audience knew who that was almost immediately. I'm glad at least Kuwabara figured it out. The first opposing team annoyed me. |

| Pretty ok episode, not much happening or the most interesting but I guess that is to be expected of a setup episode. It was still solid tho and it definitely made me interested in the first battle of the tournament. |
| The opponents for the first match seem tough... I mean nobody from Yusuke's team even noticed them getting into their room... |
