| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- There were some pretty great fights in this episode. I suppose this is where Yu Yu's legacy begins as one of the best action fighting anime of all time. Kuwabara's spirit sword is so b-a. However, i've yet to figure out if it is actually sharp or not, I mean, it's hard to tell with the way he swings it around like a club and all. |

| Kuwabara is hardly my favorite character, but I suppose that its nice that he already has his own signature attack. |

| Don't mind the budding sexologist... Why didn't Rando get suspicious when a stranger (Botan) appeared out of nowhere and seemed to be in the know about everything? Maybe he just didn't care. In the dub, is there still Genkai smoking and cursing? I remember in my old tape . Then again, they might not have been so heavy on censoring just yet then, plus it was going to be on Adult Swim anyway. I enjoyed this episode. :3 |

"Sorta like a fart in a cramped elevator?" Oh god I'm dying. Love how all those guys are serious business and well trained, and we have our two heroes that are just school punks. Kuwabara with that spirit sword showing who's a man, I love this guy. Let's see if Yusuke can comeback from the current situation. |

| Kuwabara's magic sword and the fart joke were the only things of note in this episode. And that's no good. StevenHu said: There is a severe lack of tension in this episode despite of these fights. That's what stood out to me, too. It's hard to make what is essentially a penis-measuring contest interesting with so many brand new opponents out of nowhere, and I don't think the episode succeeded. It's too bad, because otherwise the action itself looks pretty good, although the arena is a bit plain. |

| Didnt really like this episode, FIGHTSWERE OK-ISH bOTAN JUST CAME IN AND NO ONE HAS ANY PROBLEMS If Kuwabara does Propose seriously Botan might say yes because how she has seen him when Yuusuke was dead |

| the power-ups are still shounen-like but it feels more as the anime build up those power-ups for the future rather than now. somewhat yusuke cam out as the underdog here... |

| I expected these battles to be very good, but they weren't and I was very disappointed. I hope Yusuke's battle is much better than the ones they had in this episode. |

| When the shounen character is in danger of losing he can pop out a lightsaber, if it wasn't for how charming Yuusuke, Kuwabara and Botan are this might have been quite dull. |

| Does this mean Kuwabara has to hold that small piece from the wooden sword in order to create that Sword made from his Reiki? It's much more badass if he could conjure that sword in his will without the wood. |
