----------------------------------------
Continues with the interview for Lumati.

Li Ren got a phone call from a person who is currently watching Lumati's interview, which airs multiple times. Eugene is checking on Laginei, while Kajika waits in front of Carl's apartment.

Carl is tired from the work. The assistant told him to rest early. Carl saw Kajika in front of the apartment. Kajika told him about what other guys are doing. Carl also watched the interview. Kajika's going to Singapore the next day. Carl is jealous of Kajika for understanding father. Kajika told him not to say that, to bring unfortunate thing himself. Carl's sisters came to complain about not getting much money, $100 thousand. Carl took care of them by saying the father is not considering women too well. One of the sisters turned the power off. Light is off, so Carl is afraid, but Kajika saved him by lighting the lighter and went to turn the power on. She even splashed the water on the sisters. That shocked Carl, too. After Kajika scolding them a bit, they ran away.

Carl felt mizukusai (standoffish? really not fitting what he said though) always showing his weakness. Kajika said don't worry about it. He even told her about the continuous story on his fear. The sisters were laughing at him! With his mother running away, those reasons led him hate women, until he met Kajika. Carl proposed to Kajika, which shocked her. She suggested Carl to not making hating women a reason to make wall to other women. Thinking in his mind, Carl would do anything, even to sell his soul to the devil, to be with Kajika.

Later, Kajika called Li Ren about Lumati. Li Ren lost her mother at age 5? Young Li Ren looks like... male version of Kajika?

Kajika felt all guys' sadness from their eyes.

Next ep... (next week is a break, airs on 25th) Laginei. Eugene vs. Najayra. There's also a scene that Li Ren and Kajika talking in Shingapore. What?? Najayra and Kwinza working together or being couple? No wonder Eugene's shocked, too.

Well, it's back to the usual design style. Will we ever know what was the deal with the art in ep.24?

A lot of flashbacks were used for this episode. Too many? Kajika does come off a little stalker-ish waiting for Carl outside his apartment. For someone who's had to wait for more than half a day, she's unusually cheerful. It's probably from all the junk food. If Li Ren was there he wouldn't let her have it. Ah, poor Toranosuke...

Wow, Carl confessed his feelings and got sorta rejected. Well, out of all the guys she knows him the least so it's probably a little strange for her. She still hasn't given Rumaty her answer to his marriage proposal. The more she gets to know these guys the more she realizes how lonely they are. And she can only pick one of them to make happy...

Oh the drama. This reminds me of the episode where she "saved" Eugene. Just so laughably tacky. I also don't like a lot of the implications made about Carl's sexuality, but whatever, I might be overanalyzing there.

In short: Not enough politics, too much Kajika saving grown men from themselves.

lmao, just what I thought. I laughed so much in this episode even though it wasn't supposed to be funny. Kajika with a random lighter to the rescue. But man, fuck Carl's sisters. Who the hell leaves a child in a well for 2 days!?

Carl's confession was okay. I like that Kajika didn't say something insensitive like she did with Eugene; I actually felt positively about her character for once because she made the point to Carl that he needs to open his heart up to more women. Finally, she says something right.

Not much else to say about this episode.

All these guys need a sweet girl of their own in their lives to save them from themselves.

So true. It's just that they evolve in a rich aristocratic environment where kind girls like Kajika are extremely rare. And when they meet a girl like her, of course they fall in love, because she differs so much from other rich girls, and she understands them.

Carl, Rumaty, Eugene, all of them just need to search more, and open their hearts sometimes - just like Kajika told Carl.

And well, I was almost sure Carl would kiss Kajika xD Looks like they're all on a face-to-face spree xDD I hope she won't get kissed by each one of them >.> xD

This episode made me really like Carl.

Also, I like that she says it's not her to rub shoulders with dignitaries like a princess even though:

a) She's a princess.
b) She only has one normal friend.
c) She only hangs around men years older than here who are of the wealthiest elites on the planet.

She just can't get away with saying that's not her, or she's just a normal girl. Her ignorance on those occasions is very...hmmm...disgusting.

Well, she's spent most of her life on an island far away from civilization. And when she got back - she got back to her ridiculously rich father and not less rich childhood friend.

She just doesn't know life. And plus, most of not rich people wouldn't feel comfortable being with her. Envy's a bad thing.

So that's one thing I can't blame Kajika for.

P.S I don't the new art style at all. They made their eyes smaller and kinda empty.

That's so true!!

I'd have to say that this ep is not as good as I expect.
Furthermore, I feel like ep.25 is something like "Carl&Kajika only episode" which is not fair to other candidates, -.- ( Sorry for the FC ). Well, I mean, in the ep.24 three guys shared the same ep to move forward and realize their love for Kajika, but Carl did take the whole new ep!! wow. Ah, but there're still more ep.s to come. IDK what's gonna happen next, so I guess I just have to wait and see.

And the Lighter thing! I agree, that's somehow funny. Next time, Carl should carry one himself. Though, I thought "Eugene being saved" scene was so-so. How can a man get "rescued" by being shot in the mirror is still a mystery to me, hahaha, not so touching but OK, I can take it and keep telling myself that "a man in despair can be easily moved".

I know Carl was pure-hearted. However, Kajika was too naive, also. Going to "new friend"'s room alone wasn't a good idea. Even if she was raised in the isolated island, she should be aware of this. She isn't 14 anymore. ( is it 15 or 16? )

PS. I wonder what will Kajika be like, if she was raised in the normal world. Will she be this "weird"? I don't know why, but I think she will, like it's her trait or something.

Ah, this is Carl x Kajika episode. Kajika with lighter scene seems funny to me, which I know isn't supposed to be the right reaction of an audience. It should be like relief.

Yeah their eyes were slightly back to the usual design style. I hope there's a feedback regarding ep. 24 art design too.

Faraway screen focus made their faces look distorted in a way though.

And, I think the director or the screenwriter for the anime-adaptation knew that well. :)
HanaSei is an old shoujo manga anyway, they just have to make it base on/according to the original (or not?). That can't be helped.
Twenty years ago, this might be a real romantic thing of the time. Who knows? hehe

Carl...has the sort of love that's bound to turn into crazed obsession. I've been there. It isn't a pretty after effect.

So Li-Ren is the only one left to confess to Kajika? I wonder if he'll do it in the next episode.

So far i only see Li Ren who's always protecting and helping Kajika. I wish he would just confess to her and i hope she feels the same way. For me i have to say Li Ren is the winner over all the other guys.

The others like some of you mentioned are kinda acting like bunch of weaklings, where Kajika has to help them/take care of them etc.

As for this episode, even though Carl isn't as annoying as when he first appeared, he is still my last choice for her. I'm sorry to any Carl fans, he just gives out a bad vibe ^^"

Oh man, Carl's outlook on Kajika is just about as twisted as Eugenes.

Wow those sisters were absolutely wretched and horrible. Plz never appear again...

Well that was hilariously awful. Those sisters make Drizella and Anastasia Tremain look like well written characters. Carl also is seriously messed up like Eugene in the last episode and Kajika continues to be preachy.

There was a little thing that bothered me. Carl said he had claustrophobia right? Fear of confined spaces. I think that instead of being afraid of confined spaces, he is more afraid of dark places (nyctophobia). Although similar, those two phobias are still different. In the previous episode he also started having panic attacks when the elevator was off (dark).

Other than that, this episode was really... sad. They all need Kajika, but Kajika will only choose one. Especially in this episode, maybe because I also have a fear of dark places, I can sympathize with Carl who really needs Kajika especially whenever his fear arises. It was so comforting to know that there would always be a light even in complete darkness.

One more thing I want to highlight. Why so many women here are bitches? Except for Kajika (obviously, she's the female lead), Yui (Kajika's friend), and.. Kathleen? (Kajika's grandmother). Oh and Yui's mother but she didn't play an important role and wasn't an important character either. Apart from them, all the women here are bitches. Starting from Bridget, Najayra, Carl's 3 sisters and the woman who owns the hotel (I forget what's her relationship with Eugene).
