Both are very well-made kids movies dealing with predator-prey relationships.

Both movies have a child raised by a different mother. They deal with themes of growing up and discovering one's self, becoming independent, and the difficulty of acceptance. They are similar in terms of plot, except in Omae Umasou da na the MC leaves his mother early on, and also finds a child of his own to raise. Both are generally light-hearted and humorous, but contain dark undertones. Omae Umasou da na contains more + better action, humor and cuteness (Umasou is like the cutest thing you will ever meet), while Leafie A Hen in the Wild is more focused on drama. Warm heartness of a family formed by people/dinosaur unrelated by blood. Adult ideology's can be changed by a child.

All-animal cast Dinosaur movies where the protagonist(s) care for a lost Dinosaur egg. The animation style of the movies is also similar.

These two movies have some similarities like: 1. Father-Son Relationship (even though they're not blood related) 2. Life-lessons about life that you can relate 3. Funny, enjoyable to watch and good to recommend to kids ~Sorry for my Bad English~

Features sweet animation styles with heartwarming interactions between different species. These anime effectively manage darker elements to bring about touching themes of love, kindness, and forgiveness.

Dinosaur movies featuring an all-Dinosaur cast. Both depict the protagonist Dinosaur's life from birth to growing up and beyond, with lots of life hurdles along the way. Both movies also feature talking Dinosaurs (although it's more like your hearing the thoughts of the protagonist Dinosaur of Jumbagi: Hanbandoui gongryong 3D)

A wolf raises a sheep and trains him and treats him like family despite the obvious predator-prey dynamic. Whilst watching one i was reminded of the other

Both animes are showing how family bond can be formed between different species. In Udon no Kuni it was between Human and Raccoon and in Omae Umasou da na it was between Carnivorous Dinosaur and Herbivorous Dinosaurs. I promise that you will laugh then cry and reminisce your parents after watching the shows.

Both about to choose how to live, in Ame to Yuki is to be human or animal, and in Umasou is to be meat eater or plant eater, Umasou shows it much better and the ending too. also Umasou can make tears in eyes.

It shows values along with the main roots of double standards between herbivores and carnivores. Speciesism as a whole with the natural moral dilemma similar to humans.
