Issho ni Sleeping: Sleeping with Hinako

These two anime may be some of the deepest in existence, filled to the brim with plot and emotions. These two masterpieces of anime let you pretend you're sleeping by a cute person. In Hinako it's a cute girl, in Makura no Danshi it's one of many cute boys. Really, you can't get much better than this.  

Can't be bothered with real life human interaction? Prefer 2-D waifus in yo laifu? Well these two titles are tailor-made for you. Here, you're placed in the protagonist's shoes, commandeering his point of view as you get cozy with some lovely 2D babez. With similarly drawn character designs and a need to pander to its viewer, these two titles are practically siblings.  

Non-narrative shows which focus on acoustic and visual effects to make you relax and enjoy cuteness and tranquility. Basically, ASMR. Both have cute girls panting, heheing and doing various sensual voices and "intriguing" moves. 

While these two OVAs are aimed at widely different audiences (one is high art, the other a fetish video) the end results are quite similar. They are very slow, calm & minimalist, basically nothing happens. If you want to watch something that entertains you for half an hour, you'll probably get bored with this and give up. To get through this you need to give something back yourself, try using the time to explore your own thoughts or feelings, or if you're someone whose habits glue you to a screen 24/7, use this to trick yourself into taking a break ...then maybe you'll get something out of actually watching these from start to finish. read more
