Mujin Wakusei Survive

A group of kids/teenagers get stranded during a school trip in space. To survive, they must work together as a team and explore the unknown planet/planets around them.  

Survival in futuristic dangerous terrain. Lots of adventure and adapting to new circumstances. 

Both feature children stranded on islands, surviving on their own (shaky) merits and aided by strange creatures. Although Survive is more mature and realistic than Digimon 01, both have the same strong friendship themes and slow character development. On the other hand, Survive lacks battles and power-ups, so if your interest from the Digimon side is in that (or, coming from the Survive side, you can't stand that), avoid. Otherwise these two are really two titles that just fit. 

Both of them have the survival theme, in which the characters will need to develop "new" technologies in order to survive and achieve a certain goal. 

Both are aimed at kids (but will please older audience), have about the same length and have a nice girl with strong leadership that must face several hardships. Even though the settings and stories are very different, the anime will give you a similar warm feeling. 

In both anime a bunch of kids end up stranded on an uninhabited planet or a strange island. They have to do their best to survive there while trying to find a way to get back home.  

Both animes are based in space and have as main focus a group of children trying to survive and make it back home. Main difference is that Wakusei Survive focuses more on the survive aspect, whereas Ginga focuses more on the space travel/fighting. Both have really good character development and a couple of unique features that will be noticed as the story progresses that seem similar. 

Both shows display humans in a good way: our wits, inventiveness, knowledge. Both Kaban-chan and kids from Survive cleverly solve similiar problems - sometimes about ropes and logs, sometimes about relationships, sometimes even technologies. Watching it can make you proud of humanity. Both animes feature survival: very mild in Kemono Friends, more harsh in MWS. Both show the value of friendship and cooperation. Both animes are a bit more childish than your average one, but have hidden depths. In both heroes have to investigate the unknown world, ancient artifacts and leftovers of the civilization. One can even draw thin, but interesting parallels between Sandstar in KF and nanomachine dust in MWS. That being said, KF is more of slice-of-life, while MWS has more survival. In KF we have one human in friendly settings, while in MWS - several humans in hostile environment. read more 

Both anime take place on a flooded planet. The vibes are pretty similar too.  

Both series have some sort of similar "space slice-of-life" feel in it. In both series the creators tried to bring in as much realism as possible.

The titles deal with the topics of survival in the wilderness, overcoming the dangers of natural disasters, wild animals and evil humans. The heroine is a young girl who is energetic and capable. She is not only saved by others, but also saves her comrades in times of need. Thanks to her abilities, she is a true asset to the team and also takes the leadership role due to circumstances. I found these titles to be fascinating adventure stories about overcoming external obstacles and growth in a team. 

On a deserted animal, sci-fi animals. 

Each has groups of dissimilar children who are brought together by fate/chance into an unfamilair world. Both are adventure tales that concentrate highly on drama. Both are children's shows which are good enough to appeal to a general audience.  

Same idea, kids are sent to a diffrent planet and somehow manage to surivive 

Both series are about a small group that is stranded on an island and forced to survive in nature.  

Both animes gives a same feeling as they both contain hope, surviving and luck etc. There are also similar events in the plot. I think you will like them both, however Planet Survive have cartoon style of graphics and more of the sci-fi genre which can may make it less good. 

Both stories feature a basic "lord of the flies" story of a group of kids finding themselves stranded without adults and needing to find a way to survive their situation and eachother. Ryvius took place on a space ship with a large cast of children trying to survive military attacks over a huge misunderstanding. Uninhaited Planet focuses on a much smaller group of kids that crashed on a wild planet after the ship they were taking their field trip on blows up. It follows their trials and tribulations as they encounter wild monsters, pirates, alien organisms, unexplained phenomena, and even their clashing personalites.  read more 

Kids on a deserted island. 

When I first watchied Mujin Wakusei Survive, I definitely felt an essence similar to Digimon. Both feature kids stranded in different realms than their own, surviving on their own means, while they bond and have different relationships, whether they be positive or negativa. Now, I am comparing it with Digimon Frontier rather than Digimon Adventure because I think the similarities can be seen more on the former. I think the ages of the cast in this installment of Digimon are closer to the ones on Survive. Digimon Frontier may essentially be a kids anime, but don't underestimate it, it can get very emotional. Granted, Mujin Wakusei Survive is aimed at a more mature audience, but I believe people who enjoyed one of these two can enjoy the other. read more 

Optimistic far-future adventures that star surprisingly good-natured, competent teens who face myriad tribulations in outer space. They both blend comedy and drama with very little fanservice or stock anime tropes. Both shows have mixed gender casts with female leads. Both feature a protagonist and supporting character with something of a teenage girl Kirk & Spock dynamic - a charismatic, courageous leader and a level-headed, logical second-in-command. Neither show has much romance. Pirates comprises several distinct arcs that mostly involve spaceflight, while Survive follows a continuous narrative about survival on a hostile planet.
