Kanata no Astra

A group of kids/teenagers get stranded during a school trip in space. To survive, they must work together as a team and explore the unknown planet/planets around them.
This is basically Kanata no Astra but with actual character development, a more accurate world setting and has a more intriguing plot to follow where the characters need to face real problems in order to get back to civilization. In Kanata no Astra this is made too easy, they're literally just traveling in a straight line; I'm enjoying the show for what it is, but Uninhabited Planet Survive is a deeper well-crafted story when it comes to this genre of anime.

Very similar anime, they both anime cover students that become lost in space and end up on another planet. They learn how to survive, rely on each other while discovering the truth about the world, facing and overcoming extreme hardship.
