30-sai made Doutei dato Mahoutsukai ni Nareru Rashii

When mundane office worker Kiyoshi Adachi turns 30 years old, he discovers that he has gained the ability to read minds due simply to remaining a virgin for his entire life. The caveat, however, is that he must make physical contact with a person to know what they are thinking about. Adachi believes there is no real use for this power until he accidentally hears the thoughts of his coworker, Yuuichi Kurosawa.

Charismatic and dependable, Kurosawa is the star of Adachi's team at work, earning praise and admiration from everyone at the office. But deep within, Kurosawa harbors an intense one-sided crush for the gloomy Adachi—a fact that Adachi only learns because of his ability, and knowledge he tries to respectfully disregard. As Kurosawa treats Adachi with kindness and affection he has never experienced before, Adachi finds it increasingly difficult to ignore his coworker's genuine advances.

Besides the weird title, this is a great anime that I enjoyed quite a bit.
Seeing adults in love in an office setting was refreshing compared to yet another romance set in high school. Adachi’s supernatural ability leads to some hilarious situations that are either funny, heartwarming, or both. It also sparks serious conversations about trust and their future plans. The characters have realistic expectations and talk things out like adults.

I’d love to rate this even more highly, but the drawing style and animation quality are inconsistent. For example, their noses constantly change size and shape, which is distracting. There are also ... too many stills and panning shots for my liking.

The B-plot involving the second pairing could have been handled better and had more potential, though it’s still okay to watch. The comedy is cute and doesn’t rely on loud, annoying characters like in other rom-coms I’ve seen, which is a plus. I was rooting for the main couple to get together and was rewarded with a satisfying ending.

If you enjoy a nice romance anime, definitely give this one a watch!

Mixed Feelings

This is literally the happiest anime I've watched in a long time, I'm still shocked at how the last episode ended (I really wasn't expecting it to have such a happy ending). The anime is fluffy, the moments when Adachi reads Kurosawa's thoughts are always give me secondhand embarrassment, but it's with Adachi's power that the anime manages to show the part of failed communication and how insecure he feels.
Despite talking so well about the subjects it addresses, it's a very simple story in itself, with a plot that I can't even tell if it really is a plot, the development focuses only on ... Adachi and his "boring" appearance is very romanticized (in quotes because he's always drawn beautifully).

Esse é literalmente o anime mais feliz q eu assisti em muito tempo, ainda to chocada em como terminou o ultimo episódio (realmente não tava esperando que tivesse um final tão feliz).
O anime é engraçadinho e fluffy, os momentos quando o Adachi lê os pensamentos do Kurosawa são sempre vergonha alheia, mas é com esse poder do Adachi que o anime consegue mostrar bem a parte de comunicação falha e como ele se sente inseguro.
Apesar de falar tão bem sobre os assuntos abordados, é uma história bastante simples em si, com um plot que eu nem sei dizer se realmente é um plot, o desenvolvimento se foca apenas no Adachi e é muito romantizado sua aparência "sem graça" (entre aspas pq ele é sempre desenhado lindamente).

Watch literally anything else or just read the manga, because this adaptation provides nothing and the original can't be worse.
This anime is so mediocre and empty that there's not even ridiculous offensiveness to laugh at, it's just bad. If you remove all the tired (and slightly creepy) cliches, which half the time don't contribute ANYTHING to the story (like the random fujoshi), there's nothing but a slideshow. The whole thing feels and looks like baby's first fanfic edit of a manga.

The story itself is uninspired and most of the show drags its feet while simultaneously pulling relationship milestones out of nowhere. The main characters ... have more chemistry with random side characters until the very final episodes where they go from 10 to a 100. The focus on the secondary couple is also inconsistent and just gets cut off by the show ending without a proper resolution, as the final episode montages the main couples future.
Every episode there is random "personal turmoil" making the MCs spiral dramatically only to be resolved within a minute and the way the relationships develop makes a romance between the viewer and their bed seem more plausible and fleshed out.

This is also one of the worst works of animation I've seen. Most of the show is just still panning frames and similar budget techniques without any love for the medium while the character models have no consistency even between scenes. The designs also suffer from the weird stylisation the genre is filled with.
The VA is also nothing but anime tropes, which sound 10x worse in English, some voice choices being laughably different.
