'30-sai made Doutei dato Mahoutsukai ni Nareru Rashii' Gets Compilation Movie in 2024

The 12th and final episode of 30-sai made Doutei dato Mahoutsukai ni Nareru Rashii (Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!) announced on Thursday that a compilation movie of the television anime series will open in Japanese theaters in 2024. The official website revealed a teaser visual (pictured above).

The 12-episode television anime series was produced by Satelight in Winter 2024. Crunchyroll streaming the anime with English subtitles.

The anime adapts Yuu Toyota's boys love supernatural comedy manga which began on their Twitter in January 2018 before Gangan pixiv start serializing it in September that year. Square Enix shipped the 13th volume in December 2023.

Square Enix began publishing the manga in English in 2020 and released the tenth on February 27. The 11th volume is scheduled to ship on June 4.

Synopsis
When mundane office worker Kiyoshi Adachi turns 30 years old, he discovers that he has gained the ability to read minds due simply to remaining a virgin for his entire life. The caveat, however, is that he must make physical contact with a person to know what they are thinking about. Adachi believes there is no real use for this power until he accidentally hears the thoughts of his coworker, Yuuichi Kurosawa.

Charismatic and dependable, Kurosawa is the star of Adachi's team at work, earning praise and admiration from everyone at the office. But deep within, Kurosawa harbors an intense one-sided crush for the gloomy Adachi—a fact that Adachi only learns because of his ability, and knowledge he tries to respectfully disregard. I'm very hopeful that the compilation movie will spruce up some of those later episodes that started to look a little wonky. That or they can spruce it up the 12 eps for home media release. Whichever.

Really? This horrible gay trash warrants a movie, even if it's a laughable compilation movie? BL garbage continues to disappoint and be bottom of the barrel anime.

The ending of this series was just disappointing and now this? Hopefully they add a few extra scenes.
