Both shares similar topic, environment, and plot, but massive difference in character design. In Komi-san, the female protagonist, Komi Shuuko, is a quiet girl who had trouble to talk due to her communication disorder and male protag., Tadano Hitohito, helps her to socialize with her classmates and he "can read" the "room" thus able to help Komi. However in Aharen-san, Aharen Reina is a girl which is just quiet (even in talking she's almost silent) and Raidou Matsuboshi is just happened sits near her and notices her odd behavior and interprets a little bit misleading. Story and chara development tend to heavy on Komi side (+ additional  read more

Similar main characters. With similar personalities. Both anime revolve around two school friends. With one friend doing everything to help and assist the other. Including literally carrying them around. Similar ensemble of side characters. The plot is very relaxed, laid-back, and funny.

Both feature a female character who is very quiet and often use physical gestures to express their feeling. Both eventually fall in love with the male MC.

Both Acchi Kocchi and Aharen-san wa Hakarenai are Comedy Romance Slice-of-Life anime. They both take place at a school and have moe characters. Both have a small main character who is in love with a taller main character. Both are known for their cute moments and slapstick humor. The main characters of each anime closely resemble a popular anime character. Acchi Kocchi's Tsumiki looks similar to Konata from Lucky Star, and Aharen-san wa Hakarenai's titular characters looks similar to Chino from Is the Order a Rabbit?.

Roles are reversed, but the seat neighbor is always doing weird things Similar animation styles and pacing Both oddballs have the window seat, with the wingman on the inside

Both are comedies that involve a tall, strong male trying to get along with a small, cute female. Both are comedies with a little bit of romance. However, in My Senpai is Annoying, the story dives deeper into characters other than the MC's.

Both shows have a main girl protagonist experiencing an issue in some way and then are introduced to the main male character who gives it his all in trying to help her. The light-hearted cuteness in each episode and the overall vibes of the shows are very similar!

I absolutely hate using this word, but these shows have the exact same vibe. A lot of the scenes and humor have a very similar feel to them. Even the character designs are almost exactly the same lol

Both Aharen and Kotoura intentionally make themself unsociable due to their past experience. However, a faithful encounter with the male MC change things for the better.

both are romcom slice of life animes that are enjoyable. the humor might not be for everyone but i enjoyed it and if you liked aharen i think you will too. they aren't really similar except for the dull mls but they have the same feeling of just a enjoyable anime that you can binge watch

Both titles feature a soft-spoken girl who actually likes the protagonist. Aharen cannot speak well while Mie is myopic, ultra myopic. Both girls are also cute and clumsy in their own way, creating circumstances for the MC

Both anime are somewhat laid back comedies without a major plot and has a focus on it's characters and their lives mixed with comedic content providing 12 episodes of pretty solid entertainment.

Both are more laid back comedy style shows with a bit of slice of life style content here and there. Both shows are very wholesome and enjoyable from start to finish with satisfying endings. The main differences are while one takes the aspect of a old couple turning young and enjoying the end of their lives feeling young with their families. The other takes 2 semi socially awkward high school students becoming friends, making new friends, playing games, and enjoying their high school lives.

Both are older guys looking after younger girls in a environment with a mixed cast of characters, even though Deaimon is non-romantic for the most part, it does have a similar vibe and art style, most likely because the anime were made at similar times. I personally prefer Deaimon because it has as I like to call it more 'Heart', however Aharen-san wa Hakarenai also is heartfelt in it's own way

Both works have a slightly different theme and work in a similar way. If you liked one, you will surely enjoy the other.

Both make great use of inner monologues for comedy.

The heroines look alike. Same voice actress. Both lazy and lovely

After watching Ahren-San for a few episodes, I ended up seeing some similarities between it and Kaguya-sama. These cute, school-based slice of life rom coms have such similar senses of humor?! If you get laughs out of the Kaguya sama characters, you’ll likely end up enjoying Aharen-San. :)

Both follow a scary looking but kindhearted male lead befriending a physically small, social outcast girl.

The main character of Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is similar to Chino Kafuu from GochiUsa. Both are short, have similar hair colors, and are voiced by Inori Minase.

The main character Have the same Seiyuu Inori minase(Chito and Reina aharen VA). They both have light story, cute characters, and Reina aharen reminds me Chito from Shoujo shuumatsu ryokou.

Ok, this recommendation is a little out of place, but I am here to share the message that both these anime contain wholesome and very real relationships between two equally important characters. Not something is seen every day. Watch for a great romance anime <3

the both have a cute high school romance in common. Both female leads are quiet and have struggles socializing, while both male leads try there best to support and befriend the main female characters. Isshuukan friends can be a bit sadder/ deeper story but both have the soft romcom vibe.

Aharen-san and aho girl both are peak comedy but both of them pretty different and unique themselves. As per aho girl it's just as the name suggests it's all about stupid acts of an High school girl (aho) On the other hand aharen-san is more about awkwardness and comedy the dialogue and acts both is nicely done.if u like to watch comedy u should give these two a try.
