Similar office/workplace setup. Filled with comedy, romance and just sweet moments in general.

Both shows are slice of life comedies with a fair amount of focus on romance, even if they aren't overt couples... yet. These shows excel based on the fun dynamics presented in the chosen pairings, strong comedic expression, and a warm loving feeling associated with watching these characters. The largest difference comes with the difference of setting, as My Annoying Senpai focuses mainly on adults in the workplace while Nozaki-kun follows high school students.

Both are comedy anime in an office setting, with a cute and short girl as the main lead and are made by Doga Kobo.

Romantic comedy involving young adults working in the office. Main girl is a tsundere and main guy is constantly teasing her.

Both shows have a main relationship between a kouhai and her senpai. Uzaki-chan is set in a closer relationship to a high school, a college, while Senpaiga presents a more mature tone both in adult characters and by performing in a work environment. Both shows have a soft touch of romance and comedy is a strong point. They're not exactly the same anime, but they're worth comparing.

Both are comedies that involve a tall, strong male trying to get along with a small, cute female. Both are comedies with a little bit of romance. However, in My Senpai is Annoying, the story dives deeper into characters other than the MC's.

I know they’re not similar. But what’s similar between Umaru-Chan and My senpai is Annoying is the artstyle. Nothing much to say honestly.

Futaba is also tiny and has the same cute tsundere vibes as Taiga

Very similar feel with the romance between the main characters (and in terms of the secondary characters of Senpai as well).

Friendship circles. Having fun (in the institution). The occasional outing. And, of course, love. What more can I go on about? Both anime are peak in supplying optimal content in all the labelled themes. You simply can't go wrong with either. They are there to stay in the long run, two wholesome stories, even if TadaKoi has a more fixated and relevant story compared to an episodic Senpai Annoying. Two great romance anime for rom-com fans.
