They have the same vibe Also I think the characters are similar but in different places of importance. Like the background characters are opposite in both series.

- detective agency with people who have special power - the main Character takes a 'monster' to the agency to join them

Buried beneath their clouds of comedy, lies the unforgettable truth, that these two animes truly are...two sides of the same coin... - They are nearly the same, with a very similar atmosphere, and dark and twisted moments around every corner. - Truly masterpieces! - Do not look at this anime/manga, and read the title, and be like, "Hm..TOILET BOUND? NOPE!" Because LET ME TELL YOU. I nearly dropped this anime/manga because of it, and it would have been the biggest mistake of my life. YES. THIS PIECE IS OH SO VERY POWERFUL, IT TAKES YOUR FEELINGS, AND TWISTS IT SO, TO THE POINT WHERE YOU'RE HAPPY ONE MOMENT, AND YOU'RE SAD  read more

You saw this recommendation coming right? MC and Tanjiro share the same eye color/art style. They're both surprising mature and quick to learn. You can see character development really early on. As for generic storyline similarities: Main character discovers a world beyond humans and has to learn how to deal with them. Major theme is friendship and also trying to decipher what is considered human. Great pacing and story line. High potential. Somehow it seems like a spinoff, but both series are not related.

Both main characters do not have many friends and are always lonely because nobody understands them. Turns out mob and the main character dorotabo have powers and they meet a man who eventually becomes their sensei. The senseis accept the kid and take them in as their apprentice to go on journeys to deal with evil forces/ghosts/ghouls etc. As the main characters spends time with the sensei, they begin to open up and grow as a character.

Features a group of youngsters trying to prevent the world succumbing to chaos. Highlighting team work and team building with unique absurd characters. Neither of the anime features too flashy animation and story building.

Same premise where both storylines have many types of occult/supernatural beings and MC-- a unique being, is recruited to an office to deal with them.

1. Both shows don't shy away from dark, adult themes like death, torture, blood and gore, and even (In Kemono Jihen's case) sexual abuse, even with children main characters. 2. The main character embarks on a journey to find his parents, and gets swept up in the lives and adventures with friends he meets along the way. 3. The main character is a boy who's strong and smarter than he originally seems. 4. There's a wide variety of supernatural powers and fight scenes.

Main character is a bit of an oddball, quiet and under the impression that he's been abandoned for being a terrify being. In fact, he learns a lot about himself as well as how to interact with others. Protect at all costs. Both series are great. Music is great.

Both are action shounen series about a group of outcasts teens joining forces under the lead of a smoking, somewhat cynical middle aged man to fight against people with powers like theirs misused for evil.

Both show mainly stresses on the topic which revolves around person who have some special abilities which are different from normal humans (Demon or Monster)

Found Family, similar tone and pace. humorous with interesting adventures/problem solving.

Stay with me here for a second. This series follows a rag tag group of supernatural orphans lead by a shape-shifting racoondog. Their mission investigate the supernatural and need be exorcize ghosts and also outfox a kitsune police chief who wants to collect these weird powerful stones. And it's really dark about how it goes down. Very much same vibes but doubt it'll get a second season.

Mythical Powers! • BOTH series have child characters has main characters who possess special abilities. • BOTH have a main character who struggles with their identity and the power they possess.

When you realise this isn't a slice of life anime but its the total opposite

Also revolves around a detective agency made up of kids of similar age. The founder and leader of both agencies is a grown up with skill and experience. Both anime have a detective based story and characters have unique powers. Overall, it definitely has similar vibes.

In both series, a group of children under the leadership of a strange adult face deadly threats. In addition, all of them are colorful, intriguing characters, and the threats are presented in a funny and at the same time macabre way.

Different styles of shounen, but MC is charming and generally OP. (Immortal eh?) In general action packed and great soundtrack.

If you enjoy the supernatural-themed, monster-of-the-week detective plot, you will probably also enjoy Night Walker. Night Walker centres around a detective agency run by a vampire and two humans solving cases involving demons called "Night Breeds." Night Walker is also about as cheesy as Kemono Jihen, even if it features predominately adult characters instead of preteens.

The similarities between both main characters is too much. If you liked the main character, you can try the oyher anime. Both main characters is OP in some way, and somewhat lack the brain to do the thinking therefore they only do muscle works while their partners do the thinking. The physical appearance is also similar. Black long hair shorty with lack of facial expression.

All characters are folklore beings trying to live in society.

To be honest, when I watched Chainsaw Man, Kemono Jihen came to mind. The personalities are vastly different, especially with the MC's. However, there was enough of a resemblance for me to make this.
