Both are pretty good relaxing 'Isekai' harem anime with a kind/caring OP MC who treats all the girls like his family. The main characters are extremely similar and I like em both not only because they are OP but also coz they are level-headed unlike many immature brats or shitty perverts that we see in many other cliche harem shows. If you like one you will definitely like the other. 

They both give the same feeling. with minimum light weight negativity. And to people who just watch anime for critics might not like them but both of them gave me a good feeling from the start of the first episodes. the genre of both anime match and so is the fun...

MC dies and goes to another world, but in this case he starts from zero. You get to see MC and friends suffering. Plus great storyline, characters and running gags 

Both shows involve the MC dying at the beginning and being revived in a fantasy world where they are allowed to take one item with them. The main difference is that in Konosuba the MC takes a goddess while in Smartphone the MC takes his cell phone with him. Both shows, MC forms a party with a bunch of girls to go on adventures and quests. 

A much much better alternative which an almost identical setting, the humour and characters are way above and beyond Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.

Both anime demonstrate the life a teenager that has died and revived in a different world, having a wish (or the right to take something with them) granted. In these TV shows the world is not modern; it has a medieval concept. The protagonists are surrounded by beautiful girls. There is magic in these anime. They remember an RPG game: through time, the main characters learn more abilities and get items (they get stronger). The protagonists keep a souvenir from their homeland. I recommend both of these anime. I liked Konosuba because it made me laugh when I expected the least, and I'm enjoying to watch (it's currently airing) Isekai wa Smarphone to Tomo ni, because of the interesting abilities used by Touya (MC) and the girls' competition for him. Similarities: Main chractacter dies and gets offered to go to a new world. Gets to take one thing with him. Main character is surrounded by girls. They are both comedies. Differences: Konosuba is way more well written, has better humor and more interesting characters. And it came out before Isekai wa Smartphone. Isekai wa Smartphone basically ripped Konosuba off. Isekai wa Smartphone is basically Konosuba done worse. 

Both adventure animes surrounding a male protagonist and female party members. The fantasy is very similar. Both shows have very cute and lovable characters. Both sweet, funny, feel good shows!

Both of the MC is transported to another world by a god. It has magic battles. In Konosuba, the characters are very likeable and funny while in Isekai wa Smartphone, the characters are powerful. Complete opposite of one another. For me, Konosuba is better. 

Similar setting with exception to defeat demon king. Also the main character have one unique skill (or magic) like...STEAL!!! 

Isekai Smartphone is what KonoSuba should have been, MC/plot wise, that's not saying that either one is bad, I liked both, just Isekai has a better MC and plot, though... I must admit, KonoSuba made me laugh more, and it doesn't have as many bland characters in the MC's harem. Oh, did I mention that the harems were both interesting (and funny at times) in how they did/didn't work together? Yeah. Now, onto the similarities: Both have the MC go to a world with magic, guilds, and adventure after death. Both have the MC be able to take one thing with them to the new world. In Isekai, it's a smartphone enhanced with magic, in KonoSuba, it's a goddess who (extremely minor spoiler alert) is kinda useless, and who spends all his hard-earned money several times. Both MC have harems in the form of his party Both have a more or less useless mascot of the party (well, in Isekai's case, Kohaku is useful in the LN, but not so much in the anime, like, useful in two scenes and as a method of communication, while in KonoSuba's case, Aqua is useful against undead and... for party tricks, I guess, and she screws up enough that she more than makes up for the useful bits) Both have a girl whose main attack is an explosion, and a girl who has a hard time hitting anything, though, she is good as a kind of distraction. Oh, and a girl who does not care about, and, in fact, LIKES getting stripped in public. Can't forget that. Both MCs have minor perverted tendencies, though KonoSuba's MC is more so. Now, for the differences: In KonoSuba, the MC is not OP AF, unlike Isekai, and he and his team are very good at causing collateral damage. In KonoSuba, I guess the girls in the MC's harem are all kinda sorta VERY quirky, with a masochistic noble, a pyromaniac mage, and a useless goddess. Honestly, my main problem with KonoSuba is the fact that a masochist who can't hit anything and a mage who can only cast one spell, and only once per day, are each far more useful than a goddess, and that the MC is still alive only because of, well, uh... several dozen Ex Machinas and a goddess who finds him dying to be too funny to let him stay dead, instead living to die another day in another stupid way. Seriously, he died the first time (about three minutes into episode one, so it's not really a spoiler IMO) because he THOUGHT he was hit by a truck when he wasn't. Still, if you like one, you'll probably like the other, at least a decent amount read more 

Both of these anime are similar in a way such as where the main protagonist died from a cause. They both get transfer to this fantasy world. Both anime also show how the main protagonist is being surrounded by multiple female protagonists.

Extremely similar first episodes with the same plot development. Avoiding spoilers, both protagonists are thrown into a strange world and find themselves finding new women to potentially amaze with their unique clothing to everyone around them and out of place personalities.

When first watching this anime, it felt similar to Isekai wa Smartphone. Not really the characters, but the plot itself and the abilites of the main character. I would recommend this anime if you like the whole idea of the main character being reincarnated from an accident and ending up with a hell ton of magical power. Wise man’s grand child (gonna call it wmgc) is basically an upgraded version of In another world with my smartphone imo. Not gonna get into every single detail to avoid spoilers. - In wmgc the MC Shin is reborn as a baby and is raised in the woods for 15 years by his grandpa and learns about magic in this new world. But thanks to being raised in the woods his whole life, his grandpa forgot to teach him common sense and to make friends of his age. So he doesn’t know this world’s common sense in terms of how people live there and what kind of magic everyone can do. - Like Touya, Shin still has his memories from earth, which he uses to his advantage since he can visualize magic that people from the current world he is in can’t do, which is mainly the reason he is ridicilously OP. - Wmgc is also a romance anime but it’s not a harem like Smartphone, which was a really good decision since Shin and the main female Sicilen are very cute and wholesome to watch. - I also find the plot enjoyable, easy to follow and understand, not gonna go much into it. - The comedy is what I enjoyed the most about this show, the characters interacting with each other is 10/10, they never fail to give me a laugh. MAL may say that there’s only 3 main characters but you could say there’s like 10 main characters since everyone gets pretty much the same screen time  read more 

Same OP MC, same feeling. Their teammate/friend are dumbfounded to the MC power and skills. Both got isekai'd, both use magic, both surrounded by girl. Either way, if you're looking for an OP MC, decent stuff, you can try to watch this.

Both are fluffy bubblegum isekai fantasy with OP nice guy protagonist. The way they do "diplomacy" and "politics" is so simplified and it just works out easily that kinda breaks suspension of disbelief. Slime has better story, Smarthphone has harem. 

In both series, the MC is extremely powerful. Another similarity is that both of the MCs are reincarnated in a different world, and we also have a harem in both series. The only major difference is that the MC in "That time I was reincarnated as a slime" was reincarnated as a slime and not as human (like In Another World With My Smartphone)

Very much like SAO but without the death. Likeable OP main character who practically has a harem, cool fantasy theme, etc.  

They both have a normal dude enter a different fantasy world and go on adventures 

They both occur in a magical world, Sword Art Online is an MMORPG and in In Another World with my Smartphone they are actually there. The action is similar. The protagonists also have similar personalities and physical appearance of black kinda spiky hair and slim and tall. Also both are classified as Harems. 

i know SAO is the best but you can watch this if you love virtual reality. 

Actually I would NOT recommend any of these anime but if you liked one of them you'll probably like the other one as well. In both anime the average Japanese high school boy is send to an isekai. The twist is that both guys get to keep their smartphones which make the main characters overpowered. The rest of the cast are mostly generic female characters. The difference is that Hyakuren is based on Norse mythology while Isekai wa Smartphone is normal fantasy.

Like Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku they are all three in the same fantasy theme with a character surrounded by women. Some moments a little silly between the characters and sometimes awkward. They also have an almost overpowering main character. 

Both are an isekai anime They both follow a similar plot structure and the pacing is extremely similar It's is a harem where his whole party becomes engaged to him (mc) 

Both form a party with the majority of female members. Slowly but steadily, more and more female members join the party. Both get engaged with a daughter of nobility.  

Magic is the main thing for both series. And both series have the same plot for their story where the male main character died and reincarnated in new world. But in the Isekai their main focus is the main character journey where in Knight's and Magic the main focus will be the main character curiosity in the robot technology. As someone who watched both series in the same air time i think both have their own charm and similarity.  

They both have a main character that dies in the real world and is reborn into a new world with pretty op abilities gaining the ability to use magic in both cases. Both anime tend to take a pretty positive and bright outlook helping and progressing there new perspective world in some way or another helping there new friends along the way 

Being brought to another world, meet up with cute girls, tumbs up for the series. Both series have a relaxing story. Outbreak Company got a nice atmosphere in the anime and Isekai wa Smartphone to tomo ni? give us a good magic adventure.

Overpowered protagonist protagonist in another world surrounded by his harem, yeap, pretty much describes both of these. Isekai wa smartphone to tomo ni is a bit more innocent in that respect, far less ecchi/fanservice. 

Both characters suddenly get transported to another world where they must adapt and progress using older habits and devices.

Both features MC who got transferred into a fantasy world, where they are extremely OP at the start and slowly learn new skills to make them even more OP. Both MCs help others while not expecting anything in return. Both MCs also help Nobel/kings and eventually become friends with them. In my opinion, both are relatively similar. If you want a light-hearted and wholesome anime, this is the anime for you.  

The basic premise between both series is that both MCs are thrust upon a world different from their own, and they (atleast in the beginning) posses the smartphone which they use against opponents they face. Also a good note, in Oda Nobuna's Ambition the MC amasses quite the harem despite slowly falling in love.  

The dungeon only I can enter isn't an isekai but the MC is pretty powerful (like the protag in Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.?). Another similarity is that both MCs have a harem of girls.

However there is some difference between these 2 anime, For Smartphone, the MC is kind and caring while the opposite is true for Arifureta. In Arifureta, the MC started at a very weak state where he have to fight for his survival and slowly become strong. While for smartphone the MC is already OP at the start. Arifureta does feature blood and gore while smartphone hardly features any.  

Want an isekai with harem? Turn your brain off and watch this. All classic tropes of bygone isekai's teenage phase are still over-abundant in here but are managed in a way that makes it more cringy fun than utter dissappointment. 

Both have exaggerated harems. Isekai tries hiding it, Conception does not, at all. Both mc's are kind / naieve. Both got people helping Mc's romance bloom. Both have a magical teddybear with a rude perv personality attached to them. Isekai's end could have been Conception's beginning, with that many wives in prospect. Main difference is that Conception is the most straightforward cencored harem ecchi anime ever: it's even in the name. Although, smartphones are for hentai.
