If you're looking for another game adaptation from a game that tries to bite of a bigger chunk of deep story than it could convey, you might want to look at either Devil Survivor 2 or Divine Gate. With both shows I've seen the pacing messing up the natural progression the games probably have. Spectacular moments seem mediocre because it's hard to measure how strong the characters have grown in the timespan of the show. Sadly the story suffers too from this, and evolve to a 2deep4u if you're not as invested like a die hard fan. Anyway, if this sounds like something interesting  read more

Fairy Tail and Divine Gate are pretty similar inside and out. - Characters use 'elements' or 'magic' falling in to different types. - They both have a hot headed protagonist that uses flames who is looking for his dad. - They both have very colorful scenes. - They both focus on the importance of teamwork. - They both have characters with tragic backstories that are trying to achieve their dreams. If you like Divine Gate, Fairy Tail is a must watch.

Both animes take place in a place where magic exists, but different time periods. Arthur much like Sion are kings that have been wronged by the world and want to make a change to the system. But much to everyones dismay, the kings have leaned themselves towards the shadows. In Divine Gate, Loki acts to Arthur as Lucile acts to Sion. They initially appear to be guides that help the charges find the path to their ideals, but slowly they realize that nothing will happen without a little intervention. In Divine Gate, the gate itself is the all powerful 'being' and in Legend of the  read more

Both Danganronpa and divine gate are anime's based off games. Danganronpa pulls it off better and provides a more complex back story and character development. Both Shows are very driven being the concept of Despair vs Hope. Both MC's are made to feel despair and the shows both are about people wanting to change the world. One side wants for people to destroy it themselves and feel despair the other wants to prevent this from happening. Core difference is the mystery element involved in Danganronpa.

The first episode of Divine Gate looks pretty similar with the opening of Persona 3 Movies. - Both take place on a train when the show started. - Both have supernatural powers. - Aoto and Makoto looks pretty similar as well. They have an unique powers comparing to the others in their age. They have a sad backstory involving their parents. And then, they have a ghost-like acquintance. If you enjoyed one, you might like the others.

watching the first episode really remind me of magic knight rayearth because first of all there are 3 girls in rayearth that travel in a group and each one has a power and personality that match with his eye colour or hair colour the same happens in gate you have Hikaru and Akane both with red hair and red eyes and they have the fire element also the fire and hyperactive personality , Umi and Aoto both with blue eyes and the power of water with a calm and more dense personality and finally Fuu and Midori with green clothes and green eyes both they have  read more

Thrilling and cruel heroic-action/fantasy shows, where cool boys and young girls with powers [Imperial Arms users in AgK / ADAPTERS(lmao) in DG] have to reach their final destination. Colorful characters [ particularly HAIR ].... Art in both shows is amazing... Both has more than 1 MC.....[ yeah, Tatsumi from AgK sucks ] Really violent and cruel shows.... Just AgK is in medieval times, and DG is more futuristic.... Epic and not so BAD storyline.....just...just go and watch them... I really really believe that you [Extra-ORDINARY MAL USER ] will like DG if you watched and liked AgK and vice versa....

When someone make a "mistake" in the past and realize it, they have two choices. Whether they trying not to make the same mistakes in the future OR they to go back to the past and preventing that "mistake" to be done. And when they choose the second which is logically impossible, they find something that makes it possible. And then again even after they found "something" that makes it possible to "fix the past", they still ask to reconsider about their choices. DO YOU REALLY WANT TO PICK THE SECOND ONE? TO FIX YOUR PAST? OR THE FIRST ONE? TO LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES  read more

Characterwise, it has the same MC whom were being treated like shit by their own families, but were able to find a family at school, plotwise, one was set in some futurist timeline where the MC dukes out with his own kind, while the other one dukes out with his own daddy.
