If you're looking for another game adaptation from a game that tries to bite of a bigger chunk of deep story than it could convey, you might want to look at either Devil Survivor 2 or Divine Gate.
With both shows I've seen the pacing messing up the natural progression the games probably have. Spectacular moments seem mediocre because it's hard to measure how strong the characters have grown in the timespan of the show. Sadly the story suffers too from this, and evolve to a 2deep4u if you're not as invested like a die hard fan.

Both shows touch extremely similar themes, but the similarities don't end there, they both have characters looking for a wish source to remake the world (the Divine Gate/Polaris), a politician in a strong position with a tragic backstory wanting to rule the world into a better era (Arthur/Yamato), a main character of little emotion who has spent most of their lives in loneliness joining a team with a girl and an energetic boy (Aoto/Hibiki), a mysterious white haired boy who follows around the main character and talks of philosophy with him (Boy K/Alcor), and have a big group of supporting characters who mostly serve as
