Both Danganronpa and divine gate are anime's based off games. Danganronpa pulls it off better and provides a more complex back story and character development.
Both Shows are very driven being the concept of Despair vs Hope. Both MC's are made to feel despair and the shows both are about people wanting to change the world. One side wants for people to destroy it themselves and feel despair the other wants to prevent this from happening. Core difference is the mystery element involved in Danganronpa.
