All female harem and shameless, gratuitous fanservice links these two anime. In a sense, 'Sin,' is the spiritual successor to the modern ecchi (not quite hentai, but close) genre.

Similar style of over-the-top ecchi with barely any noticable plot.

- People can change into weapons - Pasts come back to challenge a few

Primarily female cast and a lot of focus on big breasts. Both also have girl-on-girl action (far more in Valkyrie Drive), and even some regular action (the one where they fight).

Both have female main characters being sent off to an island because society doesn't like their kind. Cross Ange has slight yuri and ecchi while Valkyrie Drive has much more. Both are action anime.

Both are ecchis revolving around going to a place to learn how to fight where only a selected few are welcomed. The biggest differences though is that Absolute Duo is a Harem and Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid is a Shoujo Ai

Utena and Valkyrie Drive, each in its own idiosyncratic way, employ homoeroticism as means of furthering plot developments and use physical transformations in the pursuit of unearthing thematic implications. Set in enclosed worlds, the characters in these anime seek to break through limitations imposed by their respective societies. However, whereas Utena is usually concerned with stimulating the mind and is steeped in symbolism, Valkyrie Drive tends to concern itself with stimulating other bodily organs.

Both involve using a sexual way to power up weapons, and gain strength.

Both are very ecchi anime with lots of kisses/borderline porn moments, both are about people who need to kiss to trigger their power to fight opponents. Valkyrie Drive Mermaid is a shoujo ai while Isuca is straight.

both MC's have a female partner that transforms to grant them power though the latter is more......perverted both MC's have to fight using their transformed partner both MC's have had former partners

In both Valkyrie Drive and Masou Gakuen, the main ladies need to orgasm to unlock their special powers. Not only do both shows contain an overwhelming majority of females, nudity, and fanservice, the soundtrack and ending song are amazing.

Both of these shows are borderline hentai and push the boundaries of what is able to be broadcasted on television. Both feature extreme ecchi scenes that would satisfy any ecchi fan that can't push it a level up and just watch hentai. For anyone who likes ecchi that pushes it's limits, watch both of these shows.

these shows are pretty much the same thing, a tag team battle royal... now neither show has a very good story, so we can just skip that whole thing and get down to what matters, which is better? some might think that zero would win because of its animation. but boobs trump animation... thats just a known fact... so if you liked fate/zero, and want to watch a show thats not afraid to go all the way, then try valkyrie drive

Duo Teams, Women with armor, Ecchi, and Fan Service.

Titles are sexually explicit and they focus on romance between a heroine and protagonist with a few interferences. Boobs, action, and countless Crowning Moments of Awesome.

Valkyrie Drive is Soul Eater NOT with orgasms basically.

Lots of boobs, while portraying women as strong fighters. Creative ways to get a girl's clothes taken off or showing a character aroused during battles to make them a stronger fighter. There are also arena battles where the female characters are battling one another for honour and glory, and they are either almost naked or exposed. There is also emphasis on the main character being a virgin and innocent, while the female opponents are often wild with their fighting style.

Instead of being a continuation och explanation of the main series, the Akuma no Riddle special (Dubbed "Episode 13"...) has absolutely NOTHING to do with the original story expect having the same characters. The special, unlike the series, is pure fanservice. Skimpy breasts, bikinis, low-cut panties that show off their butt cracks... Just like Valkyrie Drive, it's about a group of women without clothes running around fighting eachother with different kinds of weapons in a yuri setting. (They both even take place on an island where the main characters are washed ashore in the beginning of the episode, heh.) I'd actually say Valkyrie Drive is  read more

Boobies and action between many female characters. Groping each other's oppai, bouncing oppai and heavy fan service.

Hundred is like Valkyrie Drive in a few different ways. The characters are on an island, and are infected with a virus that allows themselves to become/use special weapons. On top of that, both have female characters disguised as males and a decent amount of fanservice, although Hundred isn't nearly as lewd.

Both involves a lot of kissing between girls. Though valkyrie is more mature, while sakura trick is softer.

- The same style of art; - Battles between beautiful women with supernatural abilities; they are more adult in "Witchblade" and younger in "Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid"; - Strong relationship between women - mother and daughter in "Witchblade" and two girls in "Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid". Difference is in fact that "Witchblade" is more seriuos and has stronger plot, when "Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid" exists more for fanservice goals.

Main Similarities: •Yuri only, no dudes (1 guy in Kampfer, but he transforms into a girl for most of the series). •Lot's of action (+ similar genres). •Tons of fan service (ecchi in Kampfer, full exposed oppai's in Valkyrie Drive).
