Arms was an animation production company founded on 18.11.1996 by ex-staff members of Studio Kikan (renamed to Pierrot Plus in 2009). At first the studio primarily produced adult animations for Pink Pineapple and Green Bunny also under its studio aliases Dandelion and Triple X. They later moved on to producing TV series with the 2005 original work titled Hininden: Gauss marking their last adult animation project (because of the poor initial sales of the first volume, they never completed the second volume). In August 2017, the company's legal name was changed to Common Sense (コモンセンス). OnJuly 22, 2020, the Tokyo District Court decided to commit the special liquidation of the company, after the decision on the company dissolution was made at a shareholder meeting on May 31 of the same year.
