Both are short eperimental movies. Both have very similar style animation and they are both hand drawn. Both feel a bit trippy. Not your usual mainstream anime, but feast for eyes if you like this kind of stuff.

To take simple concepts of reality. To break them down as the reductionist would. To build upon the remains with the idea of the imagination. To make, your typical avant-garde. Enjoy.

The magic you can perform armed with a pencil and a lot of patience.

2005 and 00:08 are both experimental animations that seems normal at first, but delve into absurdness. They both have sketch like animations as well.

Both short animations that don’t make much sense

Fun to watch, and offers a refreshing, and unique watch. Both display amazing art styles in different ways. Both are also not very long.

The surreal transitions in both are really similar but Wonder manages to take it to the next level.

Anime that starts with a simple idea of drinking at what seems to be some kind of establishment, but gradually evolves/devolves into a way more surreal and abstract scenery. If you enjoy weird and experimental animation, try out those two.

Quite similar vibe - a "looping" animation, sketch-like artstyle that keeps being "distorted", on a beige background. Both are short artsy movies.

Short artsy experimental anime about a man drinking his coffee. That's all. Or is it?

Just a short movie about a regular guy enjoying his completely regular beverage... or is it?

Both are very abstract-like. They also have music playing with it one classical and the other alt-rock. Enjoyed watching those two and recommend it to all people who likes short clips with a meaning in it.

Both are short anime with similar style of experimental animation. Both loop the same scene with changes each time. Both are very interesting to watch, so if you liked one, try the other one too.

Short experimental anime about drinking. Both have similar "liquid" feel of the animation, with wobbly lines and changing scenery.

Both are hand drawn in pencil and are emotionally driven ellipsoidal animations with a series of repetitions eventually coming to a kind of explanatory crescendo. However 'Airy Me' has a kind of oblong narrative that tells more of a story than '00:08' and it centers us to our childhood Ōtomo Katsuhiro roots. It also uses the background music as a abutment for its narrative rather than just having it be there for no reason. If you are interested in one, you will likely find value in the other.

Scene of a daily life that starts looping and becoming more and more distorted with the continuous loops. Both of these are short experimental movies without a dialogue.

A showcase of hand-drawn animation, constantly changin shapes, surreal visuals and more of an art than a story. If you enjoy experimental anime, you will like these.
