Of the many Lupin The 3rd anime that exists, Part 4 specifically focuses on the Italian setting along with historical landmarks & choice of music. This can be a companion piece to the Italian Mafia themed Golden Wind as Lupin III Part 4 also follows the viewpoint of criminals.

Gives you a real similar vibe, episodic & smooth adventure; for one in Italia, and the other in great Space.

Both are about a gang of thieves with colorful and fun characters who try to make money from stealing rich guys. Pretending is their specialty. Think of Great Pretender as a Netflix Lupin with a bit more drama and storyline. Also, if any of you reading this wants to get into Lupin, but doesn't really know where to start, then Part IV is probably my best recommendation for beginners.

Cat and mouse chase. Both Kaito and Lupin leave their calling cards on what they are going to steal. The inspector in both series are always there. Trying to catch them every time. Both MC are very charismatic, charming, and funny too. One deals with magic and illusions. While the other just disguises and other things

The protagonists are very similar because they are both the "lame" lady-killer types that are secretly really smart and at times really sensitive. Lupin and Dandy both do odd-jobs for a quick buck but Lupin is definitely more successful in his adventures. They're also kind of similar in the sense that they are total opposites - one takes place in a futuristic space setting and one takes place in a historical-looking modern Italy but both have an underlying mystery/adventure style.

Lupin III is more similar to the Action aspect of Detective Conan. If you enjoy the thrill in Detective Conan where Conan catches criminals especially in the movies) or the times when there are Kaito Kid cases, Lupin the Third is definitely the anime for you. Both have: -Police vs Criminal scenes -Phantom thief characters (Kaito and Lupin) -Similar Humor These two anime have also had 2 crossover movies.

Music carries the show be it Samurai Champloo with hip hop. Lupin with jazz. They both have great art styles and nonstop action and instances of comedy and character development. Each episode has its own little story of exploration or new things.

Spy X Family and Lupin III are action comedy series that brilliantly uses stock characters to create its humour through their actions and interactions. Lupin III follows a gentleman thief, a gunslinger, a ronin, and a femme fatale who are often working together to carry out heists. Spy X Family follows a spy, an assassin, and an esper who are hiding their identifies from each other while pretending to be a family for their own individual goals. You could not consider a better follow-up series than this recommendation.

Lupin and Michiko are expert prison escapists who lead a police inspector on a wild cat & mouse chase. They survive the craziest of situations that have a similar cartoonish feel, like jumping over a cliff onto a moving ship and riding a motorbike over a row of houses. There's also plenty of car chases, gun fights, kidnappings, and romance to go around. Although Lupin III (2015) is set in Italy, and Michiko to Hatchin in a Brazilian-influenced fictional country, they're both rich in culture thanks to their vibrant, detailed environments. If this is your kind of entertainment, then be sure to check them both  read more

Super Crooks and Lupin III: Part IV are series focused on a charismatic main character that leads a ragtag crew of criminals in various heists. Lupin III and Johnny Bolt have similar motivations that guides them: the thrill of being thieves, and their love of beautiful women. Lupin is an affable gentleman thief who always wins. Johnny is a loser who always struggles despite his superpowers. Lupin III might be a long running franchise, but its episodic format allows new viewers to start at any point in the series. If you love the heists then these series should be on your radar.

While Lupin III lacks the supernatural elements Kekkai Sensen has, both shows have a similar vibe to them. For example, the characters in both shows are somewhat similar, as well as the crazy, fast-paced action scenes.
