Both are about a gang of thieves with colorful and fun characters who try to make money from stealing rich guys. Pretending is their specialty. Think of Great Pretender as a Netflix Lupin with a bit more drama and storyline.
Also, if any of you reading this wants to get into Lupin, but doesn't really know where to start, then Part IV is probably my best recommendation for beginners.
