Main character is "cursed" with a special power. Funny series with a lot of comedy value and a touch of romance.

An aloof main lead trying to conquer girls either in the name of life and death, or a mission. Kanojo Flag is a bit darker, but overall they have the same feel plotwise.

Similarities: Both have the same comedy, supernatural and harem genre. Both involves a guy living by himself at first then his harem moves in with him. Both involves large number and a variety of harem members. Dissimilarities: One has a lot of plot twists, while the other one will be more focus on the harem arc. One anime has the harem members appeared on a per episode basis, while the other one already has introduced the harem members on the 1st show. The harem members from one anime were interested on the guy, while the harem members in the other anime were interested on the guy's room.

Both anime constantly mention something about "The secret to this world" And indeed seem to have an interesting secret... Other than that, it's a main character male surrounded by tons of females that all do things together as a group. Flag is more haremy and Little Busters is more of friendship with only one real romance.

MC has supernatural power to "manipulate" people. As the show go further, it become more dark and dramatic, but Flag is more focused about comedy and harem.

Girls gathering in one dormitory because of one guy. For those who like harem this might be the animes for you!

-Both the protagonist can sort of see the future. In Kanojo, the protagonist has the ability to see flags and what they represent (ie. death, love, etc.) and can choose to act. In Daitoshokan, it is more of a premonition. -Both involve a secret organization responsible for the protagonist's power. -Both have lots of females surrounding a male protagonist. Daitoshokan is a much more mature anime than Kanojo however.

Main character must make girls fall in love with him. To save them from their turmoil. Both have comedy, romance, harem, drama, and great characters

dimentional/time travel is mentioned in both anime. the MCs in these two anime is able to save someone by using their special abilities. - In erased the MC save only 2 person, while in KFOS saves multiple people and make all the girls to be part of his harem. - In erased, is more serious and thrilling while in KFOS is started to be funny but later on it became serious and dark.

These two animes really don't have much in common. But it just have the feeling that it does.... They both have romance A plot twist(I think) And a cute plot/story

MC has supernatural power (granted by Deus ex machina), which can predict someone's death (even himself). Mirai Nikki is a lot darker.

Sometimes, things run deeper than what they appear to be. A time traveler whose mission is to save a girl? A person who sees flags that determine the fate of the people around him? Both seem to be shallow at first glance, but that is because something else runs beneath them...

Both shows are about everyone working together which creates that merriness I love so much. :)

Both have different character gimmicks which leads to all kinds of comedic interactions. Both have friend groups that just grow in number and results in camaraderie. Both have main characters who didn't want to have such friend groups at first. Basically, both have the same formula but with different styles and settings.

Similarities: •The main setting takes place in a dorm and school. •Both have a similar feeling. •Both are pretty good shows (in my opinion). Differences: •Surprisingly, Kanojo Ga has some action, something that Sakurasou No Pet doesn't have. •Totally opposite plot. •Everybody in the dorm is a girl except for the main character (and this other guy but he looks/acts like a girl so its ok). •Kanojo Ga is a harem but as for Sakurasou No Pet is romance between 2 people only.

Dont wan't to spoil Kanojo but they are very similar, give it a go if you like the Matrix

Althrough both made in different way, both are about parallel/virtual worlds.

Both are absolutely ridiculous and give no fucks about sense or sanity, containing plots that almost certainly were thought up while someone was high. There's a fair amount of what I'd consider stupidity and/or poor writing in both of these shows. Even so, they still have this quality about them that makes them (or at least certain parts of them) entertaining to watch, and makes sitting through inane or boring parts worthwhile. If you know what I'm talking about, and you enjoy it as well, these are both great picks.

Both are harems about a single guy and several girls living in a single dormitory.

Both animes are Harems. Their are two main male leads who are use to being loners and are suddenly surrounded by girls. Some of the characters are similar. Kadoka and Souta, Megumu and Yukimura Nanami and Yozora

matrix/harem both mc's surrounded by girls both question reality and perception, chaos;head is more psychological, and has a more compelling story. if her flag breaks has more girls.
report Recommended by reddeadleader
- Both of them start with a pessimistic guy that eventually accepts his new life - Harem shows with a significant amount of girls - Both of them have a bishonen - Both have childhood friends

Although these anime are quite different, they had a similar feel to them. - Both anime have a main character who can use a special power in a school club setting (literature club in Inou Battle and dormitories in KGFWO). - The other main characters, which - coincidentally - are all girls, in both anime, gain superpowers, although these superpowers are not so important in KGFWO. - Both these series are fun to watch but they also occasionally have more-serious content. - A harem is involved in both series, although Inou Battle focuses more on personal relationships than a harem. - Both have great artwork and adorable characters.

Both start as common anime of it´s genre (mahou shoujo/harem), but gets darker twist later.

Both anime involve a curse, similar comedy, and fan service.

Main Similarities: •Everybody has a thing for the main character. •Involves multiple women living with the main character (they all live in the same dorm). •Every women (and male who acts feminine) all have different personalities, so its a never a dull moment.
