Love Lab

Love Lab is similar to K-ON in a way that the characters are all cute and they are female and their daily activity revolves around their club. The only difference of K-ON from Love Lab is that K-ON focuses on "music" while Love Lab focuses on "love." But overall, if you liked K-ON, A Channel, and Lucky Star, I would recommend you to watch Love Lab as well! <3 

Both anime are about ridiculous middle school girls and their life. The characters are loveable and cute. Filled with hilarious dialogue and moe artwork. A little bit of shoujo ai in both animes.  

Both shows examine teenage sexuality from POV of young girls groupe. The main difference is that Love Lab is an light comedy CGDCT show, while Araburu is more melodramatic and based on personal experience. 

Both are school comedies about unusual club activities. In Love Lab, the club is focused on learning romance fundamentals, while in Chuu Bra!!, the club is about appreciating underwear. In both, one of the characters has a father figure who designs underwear. Surprisingly, Chuu Bra!! actually has a larger focus on romance than Love Lab, while Love Lab has more comedy. 

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this yet, but Love Lab and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun fit together like two peas in a pod. They both rely on parodying shoujo tropes to--successfully--make audiences cry with laughter. I guess the main differences is Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun features more the interactions between the male and female characters while Love Lab is more focused on the the sisterhood formed between girls who are just trying to get guys' attentions. If you liked one give the other a try. Seriously, you (most likely) won't regret it.

Both are comedies about some high school girls doing some weird stuff 

They have similar animation and character personality. One deals with Airsoft while other deals with love problems. Both main characters are very similar. Forced to join a club or in Love Lab case - Student Council Member. Hilarity and bonds ensues in both series.  

Plot is different but character development is similar in a few ways. In both you have the "wild type" girl who's really a romantic on the inside. And they even have similar hair styles. The main charactors in both series have similar points. Shugo Chara is more sweet adventure and Love Lab is more comedy. Both have funny main characters with similar personalities. 

Both have a group of girls and comedy happens. Just another anime to binge if you have the time, if not then you can still enjoy the show at a slower pace cause cmon. It's a romcom anyway. Has lots of meme potential, like how have I never seen a single meme from this show. Its hella funny. 

Cute girls dealing with the problems of love and life. 

Both have great pacing and contain the right mix of comedy, drama and romance with satisfying endings that tie up loose ends nicely. Character interactions drive both series. Working!! does it with more characters, while Love Lab does it with creative scenarios. If one left a void, then the other is sure to fill it. 

Although the stories differ it's the same basis - a lighthearted story of a group of cute girls hanging out together doing every day things. Similar art styles as well. 

Both contain criminal levels of cuteness/moe Both contain interactions between the two sexes in a way that pertain to the matters of romance Both have student councils that contain various characters Both touch on the typical parental restrictions that can get in the way in terms of high school romance  

Now this may seem far fetched but I believe these two shows have a very key thing in common - both revolve around a place that has high moral standards so they aren't able to act a certain way. Love Lab is more of a lighthearted cute take on it where they are in a school that forbids romantic relationships so they work in sort of an underground club to help others with romance advice; while Shimoneta is about having any sort of romantic or sexual relationship so a terrorist group fights against it so it can be a social norm once again. Obviously the biggest difference is that one is a hardcore ecchi and the other is a cute lighthearted show but the plots aren't so different. read more 

They're both like romance paradies 

Both animes are about a group of girls' daily lives. Some features of some characters resemble each other, for example, there are 3 friends who just met each other and 2 friends who are childhood friends, Eno and Hibiki are quite alike, both are kind of tsunderes. 

Both are above average moe comedy shows. Gakkougurashi! is definitely darker, but this difference should not deter you if you enjoyed the moe comedy aspect of the shows. 

The dynamic between Bocchi and Nako is very similar to that of Maki and Riko, though Bocchi is anxious around everyone and not just boys. Both take place in middle school and have a lighthearted take on a subject which other series treat with more seriousness (social anxiety and romance, respectively). Art styles are broadly similar. 

Both belong to the "romantic teen comedy" genre. They have a very similar setup and likeable characters. Tsurezure Children explores the relationship a lot more from both sides, yet maintains the same pace & feeling. 

School anime surrounding 4 girls and their journey in high school. Both animes depict 4 girls in clubs doing random girl things through each episode. 

Both are above average cute-girls-doing-cute-things in a school setting. Both are also actually funny and don't rely solely on cuteness for enjoyment. Love Lab is more wholesome and has some emotional moments, while DropOut plays up sadistic behaviour for laughs (you may or may not be in the mood for that) 

Both fantastic shows that are heartwarming, cute, and actually funny. Kobayashi deals with some adult themes and is focused on adult life while Love Lab takes place in a school setting and follows the nonsensical activities of cute girls

both the animes have four girls, hanging out, and doing cute things. Both the MCs are too adorable Both anime have a tomboyish girl  

Both shows involve cute girls doing research for their viewers -- except one is a short 3 minute per episode show revolving around making a manga and the other is a full 24 minute per episode show revolving around girls giving romantic advice. If you like one I'm sure you'll like the other!  

Basically Daily Lives of High School Boys but with girls. Both shows are surprisingly more funny that you'd think. 

From the studio behind the Yuri series "Yuru Yuri" comes a romantic comedy following the daily lives of the high school girls. Though the main basic concept and theme on both of these shows are centered around "Love," where a male character is introduced to make the story interesting. Expect some relationships as the story goes on, some cute moments, likable characters, and some Chibi scenes. Love Lab, follows a tomboy girl who helps her friends from the student council to explained how does love work. Mikakunin follows a high school girl where a boy was introduce in front of her, who reveals a "Soon-to-be-finance." 

In both series, it revolves a club with special activities. However, these activities usually are not so typical with school related ideas. Otherwise, Natsuo and Sena both have some similarities as being popular but also at times insecure and has a strange fascination in their minds. On the other hand, Yozora and Riko are considered tomboys and has a strange interaction with their club members. There is many fun gags from both series and among other things...catchy dialogues, humor, and randomness. Both series also takes place at a school life setting.  

In both series, there is a club or rather a group of members. They do unusual activities although they do seem to get along occasionally with one another. There is a lot of catchy dialogues along with the amount of absurd comedies present in both. Additionally, both series takes place @ a school life setting. The main female protagonist in both series are considered beauties and seems to have a dominant personality. (Yukino and Riko) On the other hand, there is also some drama present. There is 'romance' in both series but presented not as clear. Rather, it presents it as a humorous trope used to make fun of the theme itself. read more 

Although these series differ from each other in some aspects, they also have similarities: - Both have a group of 5 girls, who decide to form a club for something they consider very important (in Hana it's a yosakoi dance club and in Love Lab it's a club for love problems etc). - In both friendship is a very important part of the show. - In both sad things happen, there is drama and the girls open up to each other. - In both series some of the girls feel like they are lacking something. - Both have extra beautiful animation, colors and art. - Both are shows loaded with cuteness, sweetness and adorable moments. Both make you relax and smile and feel good. Differences: - Love Lab has a lot more comedy, but it is very tasteful, unique, actually funny and not over the top. - Love Lab has some boys involved in the story, while Hanayamata is solely concentrated on the 5 girls and their teacher. - Hanayamata has more of those slow, "breath taking" moments, where the characters just enjoy one beautiful scene while awestruck.  read more 

Although they don't have the same premise, both series involves a group of students who forms a club for various activities at school. (the activities contrasts differently though) The main female protagonist from both series (Riko and Haruhi) has similiar personalities with their tomboyish attitudes. However, they do care about their classmates from heart. Both series follows more of a slice of life theme although Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu has an additional taste of science fiction. Expect comedy and humorous dialogue interactions between characters that are absurd, out of place, and sometimes randomly out of nowhere. 

They have a similar sense of humor. In particular, they share humor based on embarrassment at others seeing stupid things you do.  

Both these shows are kind of slice-of-lifey, but they have much more story/character than most such shows. They both meld comedy and drama together perfectly. 

Girl characters doing and getting into funny antics 

While Love Lab has more of a story than Aiura does, both shows are essentially humor derived from groups of teenage girls wasting time. The relationships between characters are also similar.  

Sakura Trick revolves more about yuri aspect with emphasis on physical interaction, but both are "high school girls talking about love". You SHOULD give it a try if you enjoyed Sakura Trick. 

There are strong hints of romance in both of them, and they are just as sweet and adorable and hilarious. 

Ideally I'd make a manga recommendation, but since I've only read High School Girls: The way a bunch of spaz girls at an all-girl school get together to talk about love and how to go about getting a boyfriend puts them on the same page. HSG - so far, at least - is a lot more... vulgar, with hair removal/tampons/anuses being touched upon, but the basic idea of a bunch of clueless girls gathering together to discuss males for the purposes of comedy as they deal with school life is the same. It remains to be seen whether only 2/5 of the girls in Love Lab will jump on the idealistic-perversion train or, like in HSG, if all of them will, but it's certain to amuse regardless.  read more 

Minami-ke has a similar art style and the characters share similar dispositions. Chiaka hitting Kana reminds me of Riko and Maki. Riko constantly points out whats wrong with everything as Maki does something stupid. Kana and Chiaki do pretty much the same. Uchida and Makoto are similar to Tanahashi with their klutzy behavior. The theme songs are also similar. I think the main difference would be plot. Love Lab's plot is trying to understand love. Minami-ke is just the daily life of the Minami sisters, and is pretty much plotless.  

It is the student council, again. Except this time, they are absolutely useless and do nothing but make gag jokes with their flamboyant personalities while breaking the 4th wall. Minatsu really reminds me of Riko 

Love is in the air, but it will take some time to accomplish it. Set in the school grounds, the main characters are often doing cute things, but filled with laughs and slapstick moments. Though one thing in common about these shows is Love, which means the boys in here take a major role in the story. There are random chibi scenes that make things cute for the characters. The difference is that Acchi Kocchi is set in the school ground areas, A slice of life format, and a love development for the two main characters. Love Lab is set in the student council, experiencing beginners of what love is, and mostly a comedy format. read more 

Both are female driven slice of life shows. Basically the whole "cute girls doing cute things" though unlike a lot of the stuff they're churning out at an astonishing rate, these two are actually quite funny shows. 

The main characters perform a similar role and the humor as a whole is around the same for both although the humor in Love Lab is based more around Love (suprise suprise!).  

Both anime have student councils in them. They consist of answering questions from random students. The difference is that Love Lab focuses on love, while Seitokai focuses on dirty jokes. 

Both are about a group of girls hanging out with each other, -C3-bu with girls in a club for airsoft - Love Lab with girls researching on the topic of love C3-bu is a bit more serious while the latter is comedical 

The Comedy is similar and there is an air of romance. The reaction of the characters to random events is what makes them both hilarious. Although, SxS takes place with adults in a work environment, not a high school
