Minami-ke has a similar art style and the characters share similar dispositions. Chiaka hitting Kana reminds me of Riko and Maki. Riko constantly points out whats wrong with everything as Maki does something stupid. Kana and Chiaki do pretty much the same. Uchida and Makoto are similar to Tanahashi with their klutzy behavior. The theme songs are also similar.
I think the main difference would be plot. Love Lab's plot is trying to understand love. Minami-ke is just the daily life of the Minami sisters, and is pretty much plotless.
