Like Noelle said, both shows have a reverse harem thing going on (where boys are after the girl). Not all the guys in Yamato Nadeshiko are after the girl, but it's close enough to be considered a reverse harem. Comedy, weird situations. You'll enjoy both shows.

The main female characters in both animes are pretty similar. Starting off with appearances, they both have that sort of hairstyle that makes them alike. When they go to school, students around, find them quite scary based on their appearances. The only things that are different about them is the fact that, Sadako is actually creepy at times to whereas Sawako is quite kind and sweet. They both have that awkward and shy personalities. They fall in love with boys who are considered good looking, super popular, and very well liked. Yamoto Nedeshiko Schichi Henge is more focused on comedy, compared to how Kimi ni  read more

Both animes have atypical heroines, especially for shoujo, with a "dark side" that lends towards humour. The Wallflower has more occultish elements though.

Main character is an ugly girl that is made better by a superior man. Also, crossdressing.

In Fruits Basket Tohru Honda live with Yuki Sohma and his family, while Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, Sunako Nakahara is sent by her aunt to live in an extravagant mansion with four ridiculously handsome boys.

Both feature socially awkward female leads who end up getting themselves into embarrassing situations. The difference is that, though both Tomoko and Sunako can't seem to handle being in social situations, Tomoko wants to be popular but fails miserably while Sunako wants to be left alone yet somehow manages to get a lot of attention. If Watamote left you unsatisfied then YNSH should provide more comfortable resolution.

In both titles there are some really absurd situations (and characters) that makes them hilarious. Even though Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge may look, at first, as a cliche shoujo with a shy girl who can't make friends, you'll soon realise that is not the case. The girl in question surely does not want to make friends (or a boyfriend) in the first place. A garota e questão  read more

Wallflower (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge) and Special A are both reverse harems. There's humour in both series and the protagonist are both high school girls. Both are well worth watching ;)

Beautiful male characters live with secluded loner-girls who are animated in a simple, comedic way. The goal of the male lead is to help the girl become better in society and live a healthier lifestyle. In The Wallflower, the girl mc is helped by a group of men who live in an mansion together, they must help her become lady-like to get cheap rent, and in Gugure Kokkuri-san a young girl who lives by herself and eats instant cup ramen for every meal is visited by a spirit who refuses to leave until she starts eating healthier and is less gloomy. Both are comedies but  read more

Both Kaichou and Yamato are about female leads that have deep rooted social problems with guys. Kaichou is more geared towards romance while Yamato is more geared towards comedy.

A girl not interested in love or relationships is forced to live with ikemen - cool and handsome young men. The main love interest in the two series look similar and have similar backstories, so if you enjoyed watching their heart slowly melting, you'll enjoy it in the other series too. The comedy aspect is stronger in both series than the romance aspect, but there will be plenty of nice romantic scenes in both series.

both have four boys and a girl that's not so hot in first site... both have "flower" in the meaning of their titles... the leader of the boys fell in love/infatuated towards the girl... the rest are a little dense.

An oddball high school girl surrounded by four pretty boys? You'll find that set-up in both of these shows! Of the two, Kiss Him Not Me is heavier on the reverse-harem aspects than The Wallflower.

Both contain social shut ins who become beautiful

both have dark gothic like settings and a whole bunch of creepy and strange unusual types of characters in it as well too.

The anime has the same kind of art style and comedy traits that seto no hanayome If you like seto no hanayome then you will definitely like Yamato nadeshiko shichi henge or known as Wallflower

Both anime have frequent nosebleed scenes where they lose an incredible amount of blood

The humour, humour, humour is the main thing for these two anime, can they and are not similar to identical plots, but they are worthy to stand near to comedy creations face to face... In Lovely Complex to be told about ridiculous pair (at first they certainly do not know that become pair) which on a serial extent will do such things that for you the smile from the person will not fall... About Yamato - there business is necessary on another... 4 handsome men of the guy for which all are but to live in the super-puper-enormous house it give the job: from ... - Both main characters look similar to each other. - Both are pretty but they suffer from social anxiety disorder.

In both animes the main characters are scary. However, under neath their scary exterior they both have kind hearts. They both have people around them to support them in making friends or changing theirselves. The girls both fall in love with someone who is the complete opposite of them, attractive and outgoing. Sawako, however wants to make friends and change herself where as Nadeshiko does not.

Both series are similar in plot and involve a girl being put into a situation where they are surrounded by attractive men and are to either help/or be helped by said men. Kusanagi must teach the young gods about humanity and the boys from Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge♥ must turn Sunako into a proper lady.
report Recommended by SherlyCat25
The main characters Sakurako and Sunako have a lot in common. They're both long, black-haired beauties with an interest in the macabre and have anti-social personalties to match.
report Recommended by SherlyCat25
They have the same humour. Apart from the wallflower leans more to satire and Pani Poni leans more towards surreal humour. Pani Poni Dash is a very light-hearted and hilarious slice of life comedy that's fun and active. Whereas Yamato Nadeshiko is a shoujo anime but what makes it unique is the story and humour and it is hilarious and enjoyable.

Both have alternative fashion as the focus of the style of characters and also quite a bit of romance elements and comedy in it too.
report Recommended by Disapeared_Ghost
Both have a popular guy in love with the most shy girl in the whole school. In both the guy tries his best to gently persuade the girl in making friends however the main female lead had given up on the idea of making friends. Both have similar art style and are extremely romantic and sweet.

In the mood for a comical romance? With these two anime you'll be sure to get what you're looking for. With enough handsome guys, comedy, a little bit of action and reverse harem elements, I think a lot of girls will want to be the heroines themselves after watching these lovely shoujo anime.

A girl surrounded by her 13 brothers. Really exciting and it's so good it kind of pulls you to watch the anime
report Recommended by Yokoai
I strongly recommend it as it contains romance, harem but most of all high quality comedy. The anime is simply hilarious(not the typical stupid humour)Both main female characters are quite different even opposite...but in a way they are similar as well as they eventually evolve in character and become even more admirable

Hilarious animes about the main characters working their ways to self improvement while being surrounded by some good looking guys. Both of these animes have romance and plenty of comedy. You won't regret watching either.

Both involve a group of hot guys trying to fix a girl's problems. Miracle Train is cuter and has more of a feel good factor, and Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge has a blacker sense of humour and is more dramatic.Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge also has more character development because the guys are focusing on one girl throughout all the episodes but Miracle Train has more mystery.

Saiunkoku Monogatari is about how Shuurei, the protagonist gradually achieves her dreams and helps a lot of people. The story takes place in ancient China (I think :p). Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (Wallflower) is centered around four really good looking guys and a girl. In order for the guys to not have to pay their rent, they have to change the girl into a "lady". I found Wallflower to be a slightly lighter series whereas Saiunkoku Monogatari had more of a storyline or plot to it. However, both series are reverse harems and I'm sure you'll like one if the like the other.

reverse harem ":D but instead la corda is more on music with some magic stuff.

Gothic girls with interest in the occult. I am sure that the female lead in 'Yamato Nadeshio Shinci Henge' would adore going to the school in 'Seikmatsu Occult Gakuin'. Not only that, there are a few people who aren't shiny, sparkly and scary. Both girls can so kick butt! :)

While both of these anime's are of different genera, both have a very simular goth vibe to them. This is rather hard to explain unless you watch it. The coloring is simular and so is the depth on the characters.

Both are under the Reverse Harem Genre. Yamato Nadeshiko is more on the comedic side while Neo Angelic Abyss focuses more on fighting and other unusual stuff.

The rt style is alot alike. The also have the same dramatic idea. Although, Peach Girl is more romantic as Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge is more of a comedy.

Both are nonsensical with odd characters and most of all: extremelly funny! Contrary to Zetsubou Sensei, in YNSH there's one girl surrounded by boys.

Reverse Harem Rather shy female leads(though in Shichi Henge it's a different kind. o.O) Romance(Kind of... hints in Shichi Henge) Just be warned if you do watch Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge the art is almost unbearable at first.

Similarities: Both are a reverse harem. Both female leads functions more like a 2nd lead or a support lead than a primary lead. Both animes are Bishonens fan service. Dissimilarity: One is a full length anime while the other is a short ONA. The female lead in YNSH really has romantic feelings for one of the male leads, while in SS, the female lead has romantic feelings for all the 12 male leads. In YNSH there were only 4 Bishonens , while in SS there were 12. And, in YNSH, the female lead is quiet a handful for the 4 Bishonens, while in SS the female lead is game for the 12  read more

They are both rather dark, and reverse harem - girl surrounded by a bunch of very hot guys. Yamato is more comedic, and a better story. Yamato doesn't have vampires, but the female lead is a girl who loves scary movies and looks like the girl from The Ring.

They are both cute, crazy animes. These animes are suitable for all ages .And believe me watching both anime will be a great experience If you like the character of the boys in 'yamato...' then you will definetly those in gakuen heaven (the boys are even cuter)also. And yeah, the art ,cuteness and innocence are even better in gakuen heaven however 'yamato...' has much more comedy. There is a great similarity in both animes. Both animes puts you in the same mood. the story is about a girl surrounded by a pack of crazy and supposely beautiful guys while 'Gakuen heaven' is a boys X boys anime  read more

I'm seeing lots of sports-related anime being recced here, so I'd like to change it up a little. Mihashi from Ookiku Furikabutte shares many character traits with Sunako from Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, i.e. have trouble getting out full sentences, frequently exist in strange anime-form (the chicken face?) while everyone around them is in normal form, still dealing with the effects of past trauma which results in severely low self-esteem despite having unusual abilities. And both these characters’ stories are presented in a sympathetic and amusing light.
