Hi, I'm quite friendly (trying my best). I'm open to meaningful, insightful, theory-crafting, and fun discussions and debates, especially the series I loved.
Genre Preference:
1. Slice of Life, School
2. Comedy, Drama, Romance (mostly in male perspective, not Shoujo)
3. Mystery, Thriller
4. Action, Sci-Fi, Mech
1. I started watching when I was in early elementary. The first series I finished was Gundam Seed, and I loved it.
2. The longest series I've committed to watching is Meitantei Conan. I love the whole show and characters. Mysteries are quick and fun.
3. The best anime for me that I love is Toradora! The perfect blend of romance, comedy, drama, and slice of life all packed in a 25 episode series with no fan service.
4. I am a huge fan of Kyoto Animation and Makoto Shinkai. KyoAni's works are absolutely beautiful. Shinkai films are pure and eye-catching. No wonder I loved them a lot.
5. Not a fan of reading. There are many reasons why I love the adaptation more than the source material. These are; Original Sound Tracks, Stunning Visuals and Colors, Sakuga Moments, and Voice Acting. There also exist bad adaptations, leaving me no choice but to read the source material. Reading also keeps me updated on the latest chapters if I ever want to be updated for some reason; for example, the anime is on hiatus or the next season takes too long to air.
6. A decade of watching adaptations and their generic tropes makes me crave for something better and interesting. Lately, everything was bland, repetitive, and overused. The spark and joy of watching and finishing a series are never there anymore. I have no energy to start a new long adaptation and am stuck on short 13 episode series—less energy than ever before.
