Cranky supernatural creatures going after each other with spastic humor. Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san is several levels higher on the obscene comedy.

Gag anime series with a strange cast of characters with looking to solve mysteries and generally confuse everyone who runs into them with their ways.

Both shows are random. Plot occasionally appears but they are funny and entertaining, also both mc are very similar somehow. Highly recommended if you're looking for a comedy to pass the time. + awesome cast

An uncomfortable mix of serious plot, weird magic protagonists, questionable gags, forced humour, oft-repeated catchphrases, and 00's art in a private detective setting. Some crimes happen too I guess.
report Recommended by Lemon
They don't take themselves seriously. There is a setting here for both of them. Police VS mafia and saving the world kind of settings. But they don't care about that. Everything is about making jokes, making them both Boke-Tsukkomi slapstick kind of anime. It just that doing slapstick in average modern high-school setting get old fast, so why not do it where the existence of superpower, werewolves, magic and world destruction is real? That gotta make things interesting. Too bad, that has already started to get old too.

Acchi Kocchi - Romance = Cuticle Tantei Inaba It's hilarious, you'll love it! :)

Extremely funny series with random moments and funny side story episodes in the middle of the episodes with odd yet funny characters who creates random moments, also the series are about a trio who helps people along with heavy focus on the side characters. They can make you laugh and be emotional/sad in the same episode.

The main characters have hair fetishes. It gives them their power up

A comedy that is just as good as Inu to Hasami. Get ready for a world of laughs!

Gag comedy in ridiculous levels. Slightly violent except Cuticle Tantei Inaba has less dirty jokes.

-quite similar in terms of mystery -quite funny -love the characters -every episode is a new case

Both series are comedies that thrive on being as silly as possible. Like how Cuticle Tantei Inaba is about stopping the crimes of an Italian Mafia Boss (who is a goat), and Tenchi Souzou Design-bu is about creating animals with the silliest process possible.
report Recommended by Calabre006
Both anime feature some Halloween monster (A werewolf and vampire) working with a very strong human doing odd jobs together. Both are also mainly comedies.
report Recommended by Calabre006
both are pretty mediocre but still have some really funny parts here and there, also both have a really weird plot

The humor technique is similar- tsukkomi- where one person does or say something dumb and another person calls him/her out on it. (For One Punch Man it's Saitama and Genos and for Cuticle Tantei Inaba it's (Mostly) Valentino and Kei) Cuticle Tantei Inaba just focuses more on the plot whilst One Punch Man is more on making the gag.

Similar humour, parody, absolute randomness. Both shows are comedies with occasional serious and heart-warming messages behind all the fluff and glitter. Bursts of uncontrollable loud and hearty laughter guaranteed.

Comedy, mentally abnormal characters. only difference is that cuticle tentei inaba is between Polices and criminals and Super session brothers is between to siblings.

Funny characters that doesn't think normally. But there are still some characters that think normally but not all the time. hilarious plot, awesome for people who love a good comedy. XD hahahah!

Absolutely funny and ridiculous story plot. Both anime have characters that are normal and ridiculous in their own ways. Will definitely make you laugh!!

They both have that similar sort of absurdist, comical, jokes, with a caste of characters with similar sort of, extreme personalities. If you liked the style of jokes in one, I think you would enjoy the other.

I’d say the sense of humour is really similar in both cases. Both are really absurd. Though, Cuticle Detective Inaba’s a lot sillier than The Daily Life of the Immortal King. The latter is also more edgy and angsty in terms of the plot.

3 people work together to solve peoples problems. Every episode is completely insane and you won't be sure what's happening half of the time. You will always be laughing though.

-both are heavily comedic and break the 4th wall like there's no tomorrow. they don't take themselves seriously, and neither should you when you watch these. just sit down, relax, and don't drink while watching. -both involve one character really wanting to kill another character. -you won't be able to take the bad guy's seriously. -good sets of OP and i think even ED's. -there are some REALLY weird characters in both of them. both MC's have the same type of reaction face when the WTF is strong.

Gag comedy. Both are not the extremely violent kind, and there are characters that question the sanity, thoughts and actions of the others. Both are enjoyable.

In both: - Comedy series with background drama. - Human are use experiments to create "humans with special abilities". - Implicit mystery. - Plot of detectives/policemen and criminals with funny persecutions. - Police and criminal groups are familiar. - Very varied and colorful range of characters.
report Recommended by Sasha_AT
Both have quirky detectives, wacky recurring characters, cute trap assistants and bizarre crimes. Main difference is that Ranpo Kitan is serious with its mysteries and crimes, unlike Cuticle Tantei Inaba which is 100% gag and parody.

Don't be fooled by the anime titles - in spite of seemingly being classical supernatural/mystery titles, the contents is anything but that: They're wacky parodic comedies with mystery and supernatural elements. If you're in it for murder mysteries, you'll be disappointed - but if you love a good comedy joking around with all the stereotypes, and having crazy, bizarre and messed-up characters, then you'll love both these series.

similar style of comedy
report Recommended by AzNKid
The same style of wacky, unexpected humor with occasional deadpan delivery. Both antagonists have a flair for unexpected humor and love of Edo-period culture despite living in a modern age.
report Recommended by YuanMori
Both are heavily chibi animated with senseless humor and "useless" characters and that is what gives them their charm. Adorable and funny anime good for anyone.
report Recommended by VioletRage
Both comedies that follows lifes of detective agency members. Both are full of gags and random moments. Both have mostly male characters and both have male character that looks like female.
report Recommended by abystoma2
Nonsense animes, both don't have lot of story and are focused on comedy. Also weird creatures (wolf in Cuticle Tantei Inaba and aliens in Nyaruko-san) and lot of fantasy involved.
report Recommended by Kuroneko-nyan
If you're looking for great comedy that will leave you rolling on the floor laughing, then either Cuticle Detective Inaba or Hetalia Axis Powers just might be for you. Though the plots may be essentially different (one is about countries personified while the other is about a part wolf detective), both series offer funny and eccentric characters, LOL- worthy gags, a bunch of fanservice here and there, and just pure awesomeness in general. Assuredly, either one of the two will leave you smiling after each episode :D
report Recommended by solitarycloud
The main character isn't human. They both have supernatural powers. Both are hilarious, although Cuticle Tantei Inaba has more comedy. Maou-sama is a little more serious. There are scenes in both series where you can't stop laughing.

the humor is pretty similar also the characters.
