Heyo~
I figured I should stop by and say hello. :)

Hey I just want to let you know that we've been really concerned about the recent events that have been happening in the Philippines. I hope that you and all your friends and family are safe and getting aid. We're doing our best over here in Canada to send relief money. Our best wishes and prayers are with you!!

I'm so sorry it's been so long since my last reply. School has gotten really busy...

Think of shaved ice. Then think of shaved ice falling from the sky and everything is really really cold. But nowadays where I live it hardly snows, it's just really cold.

Oh no it's fine haha!! Yeah I guess I understand that feeling. Two characters just "fit" for certain people based on opinion etc.

Aw that's no good. I heard that the immigration process is really complicated in the US but hopefully you'll get in as soon as possible.

> mystery and courtroom trials <
WAIT, DO YOU KNOW ABOUT A SERIES CALLED PHOENIX WRIGHT ACE ATTORNEY??
Yeah the anime was pretty bad compared to the game. It was lacking in a number of ways. It's for the PSP. I found an English patched version of the game on fuwanovel.net and then played it on my bro's PSP.
Although I did hear that the first game in the series is getting localized officially and being released sometime in the fall (idontactuallyknowwhen) for the Vita.

Oh haha that's alright! Yeah, we just bought a new one recently because our old finally gave up the ghost so to speak.

Ooh I see. We get Philippine brand mango juice where I live and it says something about the best of Cebu on the back. That makes sense now.

Yeah we went during there in March and it was reeaally hot. Is that during the middle of your summer?. Google's weather predictions said it would get close to 40 and man it was actually right for once...

Yes it is. It used to be a lot colder but due to global warming it's gotten a lot warmer. Up North there's this thing we call an "ice road" because it's this lake that turns into complete ice. It freezes so thick that huge trucks are able to drive across there.

Oh that's neat! Um yeah it's the real thing. It's very easy to get here since we have dairy farms.

Oh wow it's popular in more places than I thought.

Haha whoops! I think I've done the same thing too... I get really awkward around family so I try to avoid using their name in a conversation. Ehh I'm so used to my small family in Canada, not my huge one in the States.

Oh really?!? Wow what a coincidence. (((err awkward sorry i dont really ship things so im really neutral towards pairings. I didnt get the shipping gene)))

Heh thanks! It's not too bad so far. Have you started school yet or are you still in the immigrating process?

OMG I see you're watching Dangan Ronpa!! I've played the game and it has ruined me...
Euriboi Aug 30, 2013 8:39 PM
Cebu... wait that's where they grow mangoes, right?

Oh you don't have to put in your real age... It has a 17+ rating in North America so it's bylaw that they have to do that but trust me there is nothing nasty on there. But really, the ESRB is that accurate if you ask me...

Mm yep! I went there last spring to visit my mom's side of the family so yeah we got to experience the heat. Wow. I'm not used to 35+ degree weather, 18 degrees is hot enough for me...
My aunt lives in Washington and there's like a "Mini Manila" down there. It's got Jolibee, Red Ribbon and such.
Well, at least you don't have to deal with our winters... Negative 5... negative 5...

Oh I see. Yeah because when I was there I was surprised to see that milk came in very small quantities. Here in North America we then in 4 Litre jugs. I'm guessing milk is an import?
OH I know Milo! We just started getting that here. I heard it's also popular in South Africa too. When we were in the Philippines, my cousins used that in the cereal that we brought them.
Hmm... Well I guess that it's all about accessibility and climate too. I guess there is not enough room too or not the right habitat to raise certain animals.

Ahh yeah I know what that's like. I was a part of a wedding last week and there was a whole lot of relatives of my mom's dad's side of the family. And have you ever been in that place where a lot of people know you but you have no clue who they are? Yeah...
Well there's no place like home, eh?

Keke thanks I saw it on Tumblr and yeah it's my profile pic now.Oh yeah, that never occurred to me but now that you mention it yeah! That's kinda ironic because there are a lot of people who are shipping Levi and Hanji together.

School starts for me next Tuesday so I apologize if my responses are sparse... I can't believe summer is over already ;__;
Euriboi Aug 20, 2013 4:01 PM
I don't know what's going to happen. I just...

Oh dear uh hmm it's been a while... I think I got Axe, Coffin then True. Then Safe and the other bad endings after that. I think in the Knife ending you learn more about Lotus. I'm not 100% sure though.

Yeah it's called Virtue's Last Reward. Clover AND ALICE appear in this game too!

Neat, I have a few friends going to college down there.
Well I know from experience that Manila is waaay hotter than California. Cali is cooler than the provinces but warmer than Baguio if you've ever been there. But it's a lot less humid in the West and the heat is quite dry (if that makes sense). There is no snow. But you should probably bring some warm clothes when it get cold. I think the coolest it has been there is around 10-15 degrees Celsius.
You definitely won't run out of things to do if you're near the city. Especially Los Angeles. Tons of tourist attractions and conventions and awww you'll be within driving distance to AnimeExpo, Comic Con, E3 and all the other events that most of us are too poor and have no time to go to... *sobs*
Food is different (of course) but you'll definitely get your Filipino fix since there's all the mixed cultures and cuisines there. Jeez there's even Jollibee... *sobs even more*
But the pesticides we North Americans use to grow our food is different than Asia so you may need some time to adjust.

Oh I have a question if you don't mind. Is milk (not evaporated or condensed) an rare or uncommon item in the Philippines? Sorry if this kind of random, I was thinking about the food differences in America to the Philippines...

I don't really understand American government. Certain states have different laws concerning marriage, drugs, driving licenses and gun regulation. You might want to look up some of Cali's before you go.

Oh almost forgot... Everything is a lot more spread out in North America so people have larger homes. And it may take longer to get to places however the traffic is not as bad as Manila :)

Thanks.

Oh that's totally fine! Ooo mattress-less, I know what that's like (everytime I go to my aunt's house. Hope you have good time! ;)
Euriboi Jul 23, 2013 4:27 PM
Ahh it's okay!
Oh yeah know what you mean.

Yeah that's what I read. And I'm kind of nervous because Unwound Future ended on somewhat of a cliff hanger with Luke writing to the Professor about some mystery in the place that he moved to and I don't see any attempts by Level-5 that suggest that they might fill those holes. And if this sixth one is the final game they make related to this series I am going to be laying awake at night thinking WHAT THE HELL HAPPENS TO LUKE.

It's kk. I understand it's a bit tedious to complete all the endings (especially when your DS freezes and you forget to save) but honestly it's worth the effort. Except for the Sub ending. You learn NOTHING. I was really blown away by that ending. It even got me reading about telepathy and the morphic field. I would have never had guessed that a game based around the Titanic is actually about telepathy and pseudo-science.
I heard that the sequel came out a while ago but I can't seem to get my hands on it. Grr...

^ ^ Ah that's good! I'll try to find his website again so I can read them...

I know. It's oddly amusing.

Ahh the US. The melting pot of the world's cultures as some people like to put it. It's pretty nice depending on what state you're going to. I used to live in Washington for a few years but I still have a lot of family there so we often take time to go down and visit. (I'm from Canada by the way so everything I tell you about America is going to be biased).
If you're referring to homesickness, I know what you mean. My community (you could say pretty much my entire city) is made up of immigrants including my mother so I do hear a lot of "adjustment" stories and they do get homesick, but they are always grateful that they made the move. So a little worry is good but there's a lot to look forward to. :)
Well best of luck on the move! I'd love to answer any questions you have about America but I am only familiar with Washington, Oregon, California and New York.

I promise you, those will be the best three weeks of this year.

Oh I see. Is it difficult to update?

Yeah I know! And the sixth game is coming out soon. I heard that it's going to be the last game other than the crossover so I'm a bit sad.

Oh yes. I have played 999 and I did not see it coming at all. I was so surprised at the end but it made sense which is weird.

Oh yeah I remember reading about that. I heard the art was pretty messy...
I found here on mangareader.net. He hasn't updated this in the longest time. No one knows if it's actually finished or not.

The parodies are everywhere. I'm surprised that the internet actually came up with this.

Oh you're moving? Like immigrating to a new country or just temporary? So then you'll be starting school this August then?
Haha nice you get an extra long vacation. I pretty much have three weeks of absolutely no school this summer...
Euriboi Jul 3, 2013 4:22 PM
Oh adding games is pretty simple. It's very similar to how USBs and flashdrives work.
I love this game but the plot twists.... the plot twists.... That was the thing that messed me up. Later in the game I started to have suspicions about what was going on but I didn't give it much thought. So I did not expect any of the twists. The ending turned me into a blubbering mess. Throughout that entire time I was whining at my DS trying to figure out what has happened. And then they tell me that the Claire who is actually her sister is actually the real Claire from ten years ago. And then her scene with the professor made me cry. And to top that off that last scene with Luke forced me in emotional breakdown. I have never been so emotional over a game in my life.
But other than that it's a really good game.

Ahh yeah that's what I thought. When I watched Hetalia I noticed that it started to change a bit near the more recent episodes ( if that makes sense). Haha, yeah I remember his art was pretty good. I think he was one of the first few manga artists to draw his work digitally rather than using the traditional hand drawn method. I believe such is seen in Chibisan Date. I've seen some of the pages. It's really pretty.

Haha I was the same way too. My friends got me hooked on Hetalia in 8th grade and we "fangirled" so hard. But I guess when you get past a certain age you start to calm down a bit. Just a bit. Oh since you like comedy, you should watch Daily Lives of High School Boys. Each episode is a collection of shorts. So it's like Hetalia in a sense. It's silly humour but it got me laughing.
I agree, it's hard to find a good romance these days...

OH MAN. I've been watching the anime for that and awww... it's like... I don't know how to describe this. Anyways, I'm really amazed by how popular the entire thing of Attack on Titan has gotten. It seems like I can't even go on YouTube without seeing an intro parody...
This one is my favourite.

Oh there's no need to apologize. :) I kinda leave long replies too...
Sorry if this is late. I might be as quick to reply for a while because I just started summer school. Yaay, Physics...
Euriboi Jun 28, 2013 11:53 AM
Oh the newer ones are really good and if you get the chance you should play them. Although I think Unwound Future is my favourite. I heard the new season is airing. Is it good?

I'm pretty much open to anything except harems. But my preferred genres are slice of life and mystery. So Hyouka and East of Eden are two of my favourites. What about you? What do you like?
Euriboi Jun 27, 2013 1:15 AM
Oh I don't mind questions ^ ^

Yes and yes, you are correct!
I'm a big Layton fan and I have quite a history with Hetalia...
